"Ada I love you so much"
"Sorry, I can't"
Now...
Ada's eyes flicker—just for a moment—as if a memory tugs at her from deep inside. Her voice lowers, laced with that cool, unshakable calm, but there's something else too…
"Five years ago… I remember now."
She looks away briefly, as if to hide the conflict behind her usual composure. Then she turns back to you, her tone softer than you've ever heard it.
"I didn't reject your love because I didn't feel anything. I rejected it because… love makes people vulnerable. And I couldn't afford that. Not then."
She takes a step closer, standing right in front of you now.
"But things change. People change. Maybe… I made a mistake."
"I dont know, check yourself ada. "
Ada tilts her head slightly, intrigued, a half-smile playing at her lips.
"Oh? You want me to test your heart?"
She steps in close, close enough for you to feel the brush of her breath, her eyes locked onto yours like she's dissecting every unspoken thought. One gloved finger traces lightly along your chest, resting over where your heartbeat should be.
"Still beating… but it's guarded."
She leans in, whispering—"Just like mine used to be."
Then she pulls back slightly, eyes sharp but softer than before.
"Tell me the truth… do you want me to break down that wall? Or are you safer behind it?"
