Chapter 66 - So… Where Should We Bury This Guy?

"Don't talk nonsense—what do you mean 'again'?" At that moment, Zhui Feng glared at Wang Yue from the elevator door, then turned to Shang Yu with an awkward smile and took a step back. "Boss, you go ahead. I'll catch the next one."

Zhui Feng knew better than to act up in front of Shang Yu.

Unfortunately, Li Qiao had quietly appeared near the elevator.

Wang Yue was still grinning gloatingly, but when his gaze swept over casually and landed on her, he froze, eyes wide.

That woman—wearing an off-shoulder, form-fitting crop top and low-rise, wide-leg pants—walking toward them slowly… was the "babe" Zhui Feng had just mentioned?

Was he tired of living?

Li Qiao now stood right behind Zhui Feng. Her gaze passed over his shoulder and landed inside the elevator.

In the center stood Shang Yu, dressed in a sharply tailored black suit. He was tall and imposing, the top two buttons of his shirt undone, exuding both severity and a casual ease.

The light from above cast shadows on his chiseled, handsome face, making his aristocratic features appear even more defined—like a nobleman who had stepped right out of an old European painting.

Damn, he really is good-looking.

At the same time, the man's deep black eyes were calmly studying her with obvious interest.

That off-shoulder crop top revealed her snow-white shoulders.

Those low-rise pale blue pants exposed her slender waist.

So this is the "babe" Zhui Feng was talking about?

Perfect.

In the blink of an eye, Shang Yu spoke in an elegant, teasing tone: "Come in."

Zhui Feng turned around, startled. He hesitated. "Boss… is this okay?"

Shang Yu never let outsiders ride his private elevator. What was up with him today? Feeling generous all of a sudden?

Or… was he trying to help him pick up girls?

Wang Yue gave Zhui Feng a look of pity but said sharply, "Quit yapping and get in already!"

Zhui Feng blinked, sensing something wasn't right, but couldn't figure out what.

Still, not wanting to keep the elevator waiting, he turned to Li Qiao and reminded her in a low voice, "Come on, follow me. Don't talk. Don't look around."

"Bro"?

Wang Yue eyed Zhui Feng's garish pink outfit and started wondering… Where should we bury this guy?

In no time, Li Qiao and Zhui Feng stepped into the elevator one after the other.

The once spacious cabin suddenly felt tight and confined.

Li Qiao stood to the left, her hands casually clasped behind her back, watching Shang Yu through the mirrored walls with a calm, leisurely gaze.

He looked back at her too—equally calm, equally focused.

Their eyes met for no more than three seconds before a figure suddenly slid in from the right and blocked Li Qiao's view. In a low voice, Zhui Feng warned, "Did you forget what I said? Don't stare."

Their boss wasn't someone you could just stare at, you know?

This girl really had no fear!

Meanwhile, behind Shang Yu, Liu Yun and Wang Yue exchanged glances—faces solemn, as if attending Zhui Feng's funeral.

Of the Four Assistants, it looked like they'd soon be down to Three Minus One.

The elevator climbed quickly and soon arrived at the 101st-floor penthouse.

The doors opened. A cool breeze swept in as Zhui Feng reached out to hold the elevator door. "Boss, after you."

Shang Yu stepped forward without a word. As the sound of his footsteps echoed, Zhui Feng heard two words from behind him:

"Come over."

Still shielding Li Qiao behind him, Zhui Feng motioned to Wang Yue and Liu Yun smugly. "Hey, what are you two waiting for? Didn't you hear the boss call for me?"

Useless slackers. Wasting my girl-chasing time.

Wang Yue and Liu Yun stared at him blankly, standing like statues. No one moved.

Then, Zhui Feng felt someone tap his arm.

He turned, confused—only to see Li Qiao smirking slightly. "President Feng, mind moving aside?"

Zhui Feng: "???"
