Lien jumped and bodyslamed me.
I woke up thinking, "I just got hit by a large bolder." I opened my eyes, and I was still half sleep. There he is. Lien standing there all high and might. Standing beside him was kasio. He seems to have gone through a similar experience as he has sickening his face, and he has his left hand on his stomach, indicating a drastic hit.
" Wake up, you are so lazy. I have been awake." Lian said
I can't figure out his speech pattern. It was early morning. Remind me of kael. He used to wake me up early as well to practice, but shyra always comes in between to let me sleep.
" He needs sleep. He is a growing kid." She used to say.
Anyway, I just stood up, got fresh and dressed up.
We were on our way to the cafeteria when we bumped into someone.
" Hey, watch, where are you going, you peasant. I am the prince of the first floor. How dare you bump into me." He said.
He was a very cocky demon. He had five horns, a big jaw, and shrpe claws. He was light skinned. His appearance was similar to that of an elf. We were about the same age.
"Sorry, but you were the one who wasn't looking." I said.
And he fumes with anger.
" Oh dear, this doesn't fit well." I thought to myself.
" How dare you talk back to me. You are germs for me." He replied in an angry voice. Then, he grabbed me by my collar. I was about to cut off his arm when someone shouted.
" Stop this." A handsome demon with one horn, green in color, appears to be both taller and older than us. He had two companions with him, one female and one male.
" Stop, fighting is only permitted on dual ground." He yelled.
Then, Prince left with his two followers clearly angry and frustrated.The handsome demon walked up to me and said, " Think before you do anything." He left with his companions.
"Who was he?" I asked lien and kasio, pointing to him. They told me he was the president of the student council. I did not meet him as I went to bed early last night.
His name is Mark labushunche, and with him were vice president sheli amane. The female demon with red hair, sharp face, and large ears. The other one was the advisor named Maku Thorn. He is a tall, dark-haired, and round faced demon with muscular build.
We made our way to the cafeteria. It was a mega hall with tables marked according to the semesters. The walls were golden with huge windows to see outside. There was a buffet on the opposite side of the entrance. We filled our plates and made our way to one end of the table where anira was sitting with another female demon.
"Hi everyone, this is my friend Moana liner." She said. Introducing us to her. We sat down and started talking.
Lien: "You know that, when we were on our way, the prince of the first floor bumped into us and started cursing. He called us peasants."
Anira:"reply, that was very rude, but you can't really go against the nobles. They hold most power in the tower, not only individual strength but also political might. Although 1st floor army and the noble family are the weakest, they are still strong. "
Moana:"You are right."
"Weakest," someone said in a furious manner, grinding his teeth.
Oh, it was the prince. Speaking of the devil.
He said, " My name Lucas viron. I am the prince of the first floor. May I know who you are since you are bold enough to think we are the weakest. I assume you would like to test your strength against the weakest nobles."
Everyone's attention was now on us.
Oh man, he took that to his ego. She was just stating fact since nobles of all 9 floors are given their position by power if head of the family.
She replied, " I am anira. I am the daughter of the ary general of the 7th floor. It's a pleasure meeting you."
That took him off guard. He knew he couldn't do anything to her openly. So he just left, followed by his henchmen. Everyone focused back on their food and gossip.
LUCUS'S POV
"I will not let anyone humiliate me. She must face repercussions of what she said."
"But what we can do. We can't harm her openly. She is the daughter of the general of the 7th floor." Robert(one of Lucas' henchmen) said.
" I have a plan," smiling.
KROGER'S POV
We finished our food then went to the library. It was in a mega circular dome shape with books on multiple layers. Primarily made up of wood and windows made out of glass for lighting. We made our way to our respective sections after registering with the receptionist. Who was a lovely old lady with one horn blue eyes, wrinkles and dressed in green and black with hint of white.
We puch a nice spot by the plants in the library to start studying. I started with fire magic as it is my specialty, kasio chose to study stealth and air magic, the lien chooses earth magic, and both girls choose water. After that, we roumed around the school and, in the end, practiced our spells before classes started. Finally, we said bye to the girls and made our way to my room. It was dark outside. We were just chating and occasionally making fun of each other. Lien was still full of energy while I and kasio were tired.
I want a lien's power source. Seriously, where he gets all this energy.
Then I looked outside of the windows, and I saw three shadows of someone holding something, most likely someone. I asked kasio and lien to look.
" Seems suspicious. Let's check what's going on." Kasio said
We dressed up, grabbed our weapons, and ran down excited. On the way, we saw Moana coming from the direction of the library looking worried.
" Hey Moana, where are you going?" I shouted
She stopped and ran toward us
Moana:" I can't find anira. I looked everywhere." She said in a worried voice.
Lien:" What do you mean you can't find her. She was with you when we left."
Moana:"I know, but when you left us, we were on our way to our rooms. She said she had forgotten her ring in the library and went to grab it. I waited for her, but she did not show up. So, I started looking for her but I couldn't find her. You guys have to help me. "
Kasio:"Kroger, the shadows we saw earlier. They seem to carry someone. Could it be anira?"
Moana:"What? Has she been kidnapped."
She looked horrified.
" We need to check this as quickly as possible. " I said
We went outside where we shaw those shadows. It was dark as the day approached midnight. Everyone was worried.
Kasio used his stealth and investigated.
Kasio:" There is definitely traces of anira's magic along with 3 more in prints, and they are heading that direction. " He pointed toward the direction.
Moana:" That is the direction of the death forest. It is home to the deadliest creatures and ancient spirits who are hostile to demons."
"The death forest, it is not looking good" I said
Everyone's now even more worried. All four started following the traces of the magic.
" what were the other traces" I asked kasio
" I am not sure but maybe it is that prince Lucas and his henchmen. " kasio said hesitating a little
"This got serious really fast." I thought to myself .
We followed the traces for about half an hour and when we looked in the front. Everyone was shocked that it was indeed the death forest where her traces were heading.
