It had been a four months and Dell had still not seen any one else apart from his mother who visits him everyday and the maids in his room. He also wanted to go outside and see but it was impossible since he was watched every second. He had not seen his farther or any other relative, it had just showed him that this was a really different family than those back on earth. He had never known what a family should be like since he was an orphan but he knew this was not a norm.
Well today was different he heard a knock at the door and when it opened he saw men walk in dressed in uniform, they had swords sheathed on the waist and patted armorer on the knees and shoulder pad. They had heavy strides and walked in uniform making the room darken with a fierce force. They then stood in two lines living space from the door for two people to walk in. one hard bright golden hear and red eyes with a sharp face with a beard. He was large almost 6.8 with an aura so strong that Dell felt a fierce beast enter his room. His eyes were glued to that figure if strength that looked at him and ask with a deep voice "is this the youngest" yet know one said anything. When Dell looked around he saw all the maids in the room on there knees and there head down. He instinctively new that this man was the duke the strongest man in the kingdom of Lucretia.
The other man next to him was an old man with a long white beard and a white robe who looked harmless while smiling at the still shocked Dell. "my lord, it's about time we start the naming ceremony" said the old man. The duke silently nodded and moved to the side leaving the old man to do what he was brought in for. Dells mother and another people Dell has never seen also joined. The old man removed a sphere made of white crystals out of nowhere shocking Dell. "is this magic? it came out of nowhere, space magic maybe, I really want to start learning magic." Thoughts run to Dells mind as he saw magic for the first time since his rebirth.
The naming ceremony was done four months after a child is born. Unlike earth where parent name the own child, in this world a child is named by something known as a blood stone. It is a magical device that when in contact with blood names the individual. When Dell heard of the blood stone he thought of something like a DNA test but could not figure how it tells someone by name. maybe it was the magical aspect of the device. The blood stone was largely used by everyone including commoners. For small villages the chief would have it and name all the children born in the village. But for some rich noble families they had their own for every house.
Dell knew of the significance of the ritual which would give him a name that he would be called, unlike his name back on earth he wanted one that would feel like him and become his own identity in this new world which he vowed to reach the top and make everyone know who he was.
Everyone in the room had their eyes on the duke as it was rare for the maids to see him. He was a man of few words but the words that come out of his mouth were cold and absolute. Marie was also nerve's as it was her first time in front of so many people who some did not like her. As she went to pick Dell up from his bed he could see it in her face that something was troubling her. As she looked towards the boys and girls behind the duke he could tell that she was afraid of the other children setting their eyes on her little on and harming him in the future. She then walked towards the ever-smiling old man with the blood stone in his hand.
The old man took out a small pin and stabbed it into Dells small fingers and when his blood dripped down the old man let it fall on the sphere in his right hand. A bright glow shinned on the sphere as words started forming on it. "Zelis" said the old man for everyone to hear "his name from now on shall be Zelis Daminhom" people started to clap and the duke nodded in agreement the name rang in Dells head as he said it over again and again in his mind with excitement.
