Sandra and Mr. Coca were in the midst of an intimate moment in a hotel room, their lips pressed together as they shared a passionate kiss. The room was dimly lit, the only sound between them being the soft rustle of their clothes and the faint hum of the city outside. It seemed like time had slowed down for them, but just as they were lost in the moment, Mr. Coca's phone rang, cutting through the silence.
He pulled away from Sandra with a sigh and glanced at the screen. "It's my wife," he muttered, a hint of reluctance in his voice. "I have to take this."
Sandra looked at him, her expression tinged with both frustration and understanding. "Seriously? Now?"
"Yeah, I'm sorry. I have to," Mr. Coca replied, his tone apologetic. He answered the call, pressing the phone to his ear. "Hello?"
His wife's voice came through clearly on the other end, tinged with concern. "When are you coming back home, Mr. Coca? It's getting late, and I've prepared your favorite meal. Rossi's back from school, and she's been asking for you."
Mr. Coca's heart softened at the mention of his daughter. "Rossi's back? She didn't tell me she was coming today," he said, a slight tone of surprise in his voice. "I wish I had known so I could've gotten something for her. I'll head home now. I've missed her so much."
His wife responded with warmth, "Alright then, I'll be waiting for you. Rossi's been so eager to see you. Bye for now."
"Bye, I'll be there soon," Mr. Coca said, his voice softening.
He lowered the phone and looked at Sandra, his expression apologetic. "I have to go. Rossi's back from school, and I really want to see her. I've missed her."
Sandra's face fell, her brows furrowing as she stood up from the bed. "You're leaving me here? Alone?"
Mr. Coca rubbed his forehead, feeling guilty. "I'm sorry. I know I ruined the mood, but I have to go now. Let me know if you need anything before I leave."
Sandra crossed her arms, looking disappointed. "I'll leave too," she said, her voice almost a whisper.
"Why?" Mr. Coca asked, surprised. "You can stay the night and leave tomorrow morning. It's late already."
"No," Sandra replied, shaking her head. "I'd feel too lonely. I'd rather just go home."
Mr. Coca stepped closer, placing his hands on her shoulders. "Are you upset with me?" he asked softly, concern in his eyes.
"A bit, yes," Sandra admitted, her tone tinged with hurt. "You ruined the fun, Mr. Coca. Why can't you stay? You could've come up with an excuse, anything."
"I can't stay, but I promise, I'll make it up to you," Mr. Coca said, his voice filled with sincerity. He leaned in and kissed her gently on the forehead, a gesture meant to soothe her.
Sandra's expression softened for a moment, but her disappointment was still palpable. She watched him get dressed in silence. With a sigh, she walked out of the room, feeling the weight of the evening's abrupt end.
As Mr. Coca finished dressing, Sandra silently gathered her things and prepared to check out of the hotel. Her mind raced, filled with conflicting emotions. As she drove away from the hotel, her thoughts lingered on Mr. Coca, his promise to make things right, and the unexpected interruption caused by his family. When she arrived home, the sound of her car pulling into the driveway caught her mother's attention.
Her mother stepped outside, her face a mixture of surprise and curiosity. "Can you tell me whose car that is?" she asked, her voice filled with a hint of suspicion.
Sandra rolled her eyes, not in the mood for a lecture. "It's my car, and please don't ask who got it for me. You should know already," she said as she walked past her mother, heading toward the door.
Her mother stood there, speechless, watching as Sandra entered the house. Sandra could feel the weight of her mother's gaze, but she chose to ignore it. Once inside, she headed straight to her room, a broad smile spreading across her face. The excitement of the day was overwhelming, and she needed to share it with someone.
She quickly dialed her friend Celin's number, eager to spill the news. "Hello, girlfriend! Have you changed your mind about joining me at the nightclub tonight?" Celin asked on the other end, her voice light and playful.
Sandra grinned. "Guess what, babe?"
Celin paused, sensing that something big was coming. "Tell me, I can't guess!"
Sandra's voice bubbled with excitement as she spoke. "My Mr. Coca just got me a car!"
There was a brief silence on the other end, and then Celin squealed in delight. "Oh my goodness! Are you kidding, babe?"
Sandra laughed, her heart racing with joy. "No, I'm not kidding. I'll send you a picture of it," she said, her smile widening as she reached for her phone to capture a picture of her new car.
"Oh my goodness, send me the picture now!" Celin urged, clearly overjoyed.
Sandra's smile didn't fade as she continued. "And guess what else? I'm throwing a nightclub party tomorrow to celebrate my new car!"
Celin's voice was full of excitement. "Goodness! I won't miss it. I'll spread the word to everyone. Congratulations, babe, you deserve it!"
"Thank you!" Sandra said, her voice warm. "I need to go to bed now, but I'll talk to you later. Bye!" She ended the call, her heart still soaring with happiness. For the first time in a while, she felt like everything was falling into place.
The next morning, Sandra's mother came into her room to wake her up for church. "Sandra, get up! It's daybreak already. We can't be late for church service."
Sandra groggily opened her eyes, her mind still half in dreamland. "What do you mean, mum? I don't understand."
Her mother stood at the doorway, looking stern. "Today is Sunday. We have to go to church."
Sandra, clearly uninterested, turned over in bed. "Let me ask you, mum, since when have I started going to church? I don't understand."
Her mother's face showed a mix of disappointment and concern. "It's been a while since you've gone. We're going together today. For the past year, you haven't stepped foot in church."
Sandra sighed, rolling over and pulling the covers over her head. "Mum, you can go. I'm not interested. I'm throwing a party today to celebrate my new car. Please don't preach to me; I know that's coming next."
Her mother's voice softened, but there was a note of frustration. "God will heal the sickness of your stubbornness."
"Amen, mum," Sandra muttered under her breath as she heard her mother leave the room.
Sandra, now fully awake, pulled her phone out and called her friends. She then got up, took a quick shower, and dressed for the day. A few moments later, her friends arrived at her house. They greeted her warmly, hugging her as they entered.
"Congratulations once more, dear," Celin said, her voice full of admiration.
Sandra grinned. "I was thinking about the nightclub. We should go to Quilox to celebrate. What do you think?"
Celin immediately agreed. "Perfect! Quilox will be amazing."
"I was thinking we should go to a nice restaurant first and have a meal before we head there. What do you think?" Sandra suggested.
"Sounds great! Let's go!" Celin replied enthusiastically.
They all piled into Sandra's new car and headed to the restaurant. Once there, Sandra ordered a variety of dishes for herself and her friends. As they sat down, Celin raised her glass in a toast. "Come on, let's toast to the new car owner in town!"
Everyone cheered, and Sandra felt her excitement reach new heights. They ate, laughed, and enjoyed each other's company. After the meal, Sandra paid for the bill, and they headed out to the car.
"Where should we go from here?" Sandra asked, looking at her friends.
"I think it's time to hit Quilox. It's getting late," Celin replied.
"Agreed," Amara chimed in. "Let's go before other girls get to the guys first!"
Sandra smiled, feeling the pulse of excitement building within her. As she drove, she couldn't help but talk about her life with Mr. Coca. "Just my Mr. Coca is enough for me. He provides everything I want. Soon, I'll be a house owner, too."
Amara laughed and leaned forward. "Wow, can you ask Mr. Coca to introduce me to one of his friends?"
Sandra glanced at her with a smirk. "Maybe. But he's all I need right now."
