Chapter 2 - CHAPTER 2: LUCIEL...

I perched on the edge of a cliff, the ghostly whispers of wind weaved through me like a forgotten lullaby. Below, a small town blossomed, vibrant and alive, it's streets bustling with laughter and light. The townspeople wore expressions of joy, their smiles brightened the sun-drenched landscape.

It was a slice of serenity I had never known-an idyllic life that seemed untouched by the harsh realities of the outside world. As I watched them a bittersweet longing swelled within me. Their carefree moments-a child chasing butterflies, friends gathering for a picnic, a couple sharing secrets beneath a blooming cherry tree-made my heart ache with desire.

I yearned to join their ranks, to slip into their world like a shadow and embrace the warmth of their companionship. What would it feel to laugh without worry, to dance under the stars as if tomorrow would never come? For a fleet moment, I imagined myself among them, a part of their tapestry of life and the thought brought me both comfort and sorrow.

"Master Luciel!" A voice of a girl called out slicing through my thoughts like a blade. I turned towards the source, confusion swirling in my mind. "Who is she? And first of all who is Luciel?" I pondered my brow furrowing as I tried to make sense of it all.

As I stood up straining for clarity, I realized with a jolt that I was in an unfamiliar world. Gigantic hills rolled in majestically in the distance, lush forest seemed with life and a river glistened with crystal-clear water, babbling cheerfully as it meandered past. It was evident, I was nowhere near Earth.

The girl was sprinting towards me, her hair swinging wildly with every determined stride. My heart ached with anticipation, but it was quickly eclipsed by a sudden darkness that engulfed me. One moment I was standing in this enchanting realm, and the next, I felt an excruciating pain as if I had collided with a wall of bricks.

With a jolt, I opened my eyes, greeted not by forests or rivers, but the familiar-my bedroom floor, scattered with discs and crumpled snack wrappers."Oh I fell" I groaned, pushing myself up. The impact sent sharp pain that shoot through my body, reminding me that gravity is not always a friend.

Rubbing my temples, I felt a heavy headache heardown on me like a mischievous gremlin. I stumbled to my medicine and plopped down on the edge of my bed, still reeling from that tantalising glimpse of adventure.

Was it a lucid dream? Or perhaps l had simply lost my balance while daydreaming of epic quests and heroic feats. Either way, the image of the girl mesmerized me, a mystery beckoning to be solved. "Luciel..." I mummered, testing the name on my lips as it held the key to something great.

Suddenly, a thrill ignited within me. What if I really could step into another world? One filled with magic, danger and epic battles? Could it be that I was destined for something extraordinary. My mind raced with possibilities-perhaps I was meant to discover the truth about Luciel and the adventure that awaited.

I resolved to stay alert-the adventure might just wait for me to find it again. With newfound determination, I began jotting down ideas in my notebook, envisioning the journey that could unfold. Little did I know my dreams were only fiction, and destiny had a way of determining my mundane reality with the spectary.
