Chapter 2
The young princess scurried to the Queen's chambersd and barged in as usual
"Mother??"
"Oh look who's here"Eugenia the queen said sarcasm heavy in her breath
"What are you trying to do mother"?
"My day went well thank you"Another sarcastic reply from the queen and lunar piped down a little."would you care to sit"she gestured to a sofa next to princess lunar and then ordered the chamber maids to leave with a wave of her hand
"So..how has your day been??"
"Mother!!"lunar gritted her teeth impatient to hear what the queen had to say
"Are you going to let me do the talking while you do the listening?"
"I have no patience"
"That is very evident my dear but like I said I would appreciate if you shut your mouth and gave me your ears"the queen said exasperated.
The air was tight... everywhere quiet and stiff and lunar felt suffocated.. keeping quiet was not her thing.. talking was a hobby but of course not with her mother the queen
"So I spoke with your father and we have agreed you will be getting married tomorrow night"the queen said without an emotion and for once lunar was speechless..it took a couple of seconds before she was able to blurt the word
"E'scuse me?"
"Your excused"
"What did you just say mother??"
"I said your excused!"the queen replied
"No before that.."lunar yelled already loosing her patience.
The queen stood up and walked to the large window overlooking the beauty of her kingdoms..she took a while to reply and of course the young princess was already red with impatience
"I believe you don't have brain cancer to forget what I just said"
