Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Survive first

Leaves rustled as a lad manoeuvred through the forest like an agile monkey. He jumped down from the tree to the ground and hid behind the big tree he landed close too.

"Let's calm down, you're not special, the guards can't see or sense you," he comforted himself with words he knew were untrue. Today he had really done it.

He took a long breath before and turned to look behind the tree.

 Boom!

A huge explosion sent him and the tree flying meters away. He stumbled to the ground before he hurriedly pushed himself back on his feet.

"What do you want with me?" He looked at what was approaching intently.

"Chi Han, you're coming with us," five Two metres tall humanoid creatures clad in gold and white armor spoke simultaneously, there voices like that of someone closed in a room.

'shit! They know my name,' chi stared at the monsters in front of him. It was his fault for stealing there gods heart.

"So your god Already sent the occult against me?" He spoke looking around to find something that would save his life. But he found nothing, today was going to be his last.

"You managed to run this far, you are quiet a remarkable activist," the tall humanoid creature at the front stepped forward removing his mask.

Behind the mask was a handsome face, a pointed chin and two black horns materialized on his head. He's eyes were as blue as the sky.

'shit, shit, shit!!! Okay, the heart. I'll just eat it, maybe it will grant me some of there gods power,' This was the best chi could come up with at the moment.

Chi pulled out a growing red gem from his pockets and held it close to his mouth. These guys were grades above him, there was no way he was going to survive anyway.

"If you leave me, I promise to not consume your gods heart!" Chi's bargain was met with unsheathing of swords. Chi watching them he throw it in his mouth.

"No! cut his neck before he swallows it!!" The occult without the mask exclaimed. This heart was to important to be infused into a human.

In a split second a punch connected to chi's jaw, forcing the gem to go through his throat. The punch sent chi flying through trees.

Before he could hit another tree another occult was already behind him, he slashed chi's hand off clean. And stomped chi to the ground.

Chi only felt the pain of his arm being cut off when his face was against the ground. The blood from his cut arm spilled onto the ground.

"Ahhh!!!!" He screamed his lungs out, the pain was just too much for him.

The four occult walked towards chi and there friend who had his leg on chi. The one without the mask instructed while chi cried.

"Tear him apart if its what it takes to take the heart,"

"Okay sir Conut!" The occult registered the command and slashed chi's head off. The head fell to the ground lifeless. The pain he had felt before he was killed written all over it.

The occult pierced his hand through chi's dead bodies stomach to pull out the heart. More blood trickled down from chi's body.

"Hurry up, it's already beneath us dealing with him," Conut hated the fact the he was sent here to deal with a human even a first power could handle.

"I've got it sir!" The occult reported, his joyous expression hidden by the mask he wore.

"Take it out we leave! I'm hungry" Conut turned around and began Walking away. The Forest was very big but wild animals were a reality here, so he was going to hit back at the kingdom.

The occult grubbed the heart and tried to pull his hand but failed. His three friends had turned and we're walking with Conut who seemed to be the leader.

"Ugh, sir I can't seem to pull my hand out." The occult reported his predicament. He used his leg stepping against chi's body but nothing. His arm was not budging.

"What now?!" Conut turned with an annoyed expression. He saw an occult someone who had enough power to blow a moon up struggle to pull his arm out.

"Sir, I can nolonger move!" The occult said starting to feel scared. Conut looked at him and was about to walk close when a burst of red light blinded them for a few seconds.

When Conut was able to see he saw the occult's head who had cut chi's head off on the ground instead of chi's. His face turned to one of horror when he saw chi standing with fog being generated by his body.

 "He...

"He absorbed the heart, run..." Conut's voice was barely audible when he spoke but the other occult ran when they heard this. They ran for there life splitting up.

"I will kill you last," chi spoke before he picked up the sword he had been killed with just minutes ago and ran after the one who ran left.

A second later Conut heard la scream and saw chi change direction and go after another occult.

'he... That's our god's power,' Conut stared in disbelief as another scream came. He was far stronger than his fellow occults, he was the strongest in this kingdom but chi Hans power now scared him.

Two more scream came, Conut stared at the direction of the scream and saw bloodied chi walking towards him. He stared at the fog growing being generated by chi's body.

"That's, that's orphic level. He's now a fifth power." Conut tremblingly held his sword with two hands after throwing away his helmet.

"How did killing me feel? I'm going to have my revenge right now," chi shot towards Conut like a speeding bullet with a knife in hand.

Conut watched as Chi lung towards him, but something surprised him. The spirit force around chi was definitely level five but why was him moving this slow? A level five would have already cut him.

Chi han had grew over confident to notice the power he had obtained after his revival was depleting. He tried to slash Conut who moved away barely dodging the sword.

With his sword Conut aimed for the hand with a weapon. The same hand the was previously cut by the occult that was now dead.

Chi did not relent after missing the first attack, he continued to swing the sword in a Brutish manner but was still unable to land a hit on Conut who had now lost the fear he had for gods heart.

Conut dodged another of chi's swing and moved close cutting chi's abdomen. When chi got cut he dropped his sword and jumped back before pressing his hand on his abdomen.

'shit, I let confidence delude me. Shit, shit shit, I'll die again.' He thought with only little distance between him and Conut.

"Haha, so this is the power I was scared of all my life?!" Conut exclaimed and lunged at chi who was still disoriented.

Chi Dodged, ignoring the pain in his abdomen and kicked conut's sword away. Conut turned around quickly elbowing chi to the ground.

About to get on to of chi, he was kicked away. Chi got up and began running away trying his best to ignore the pain. He was was nolonger confident in himself.

Conut got up and chased after chi who was running desperately. He ran fast and tackled him to the ground.

"You're dying today!" Conut borrowed. They both were spiralled to the ground but chi was the only one heavily injured.

Conut got and walked slowly towards chi, he was not arrogant but just confident in his years of training. Even if there god decided to bless this non believer with there power.

Chi staggeringly got up. The amount of blood he lost causing him to be slightly dizzy. Every moment that passed by chi lost a fragment of his consciousness.

'shit, how could I have made such a mistake. Leaving the best for last was a bad idea,' he swallowed a mouthful of saliva. Then took of his shirt and used it to close up the bleeding wound.

"I don't plan on dying the second time," he got into a fighting stance.
