Just like the first time, Shiki descended to the first floor of the school to go home. Shiki pondered whether that terrifying and bizarre thing from before would appear again. However, Shiki gradually reached the first floor of the school. Throughout his descent, he didn't feel the chilling presence like the first time, nor did the black and white humanoid figure appear.
Shiki opened his umbrella and started to leave the school to go home.
That scary thing didn't reappear after all...
As Shiki walked home along the side of the road, the rain became heavier, and the sky grew even darker.
It's strange... even though I went back in time, why didn't that thing reappear...? Shiki thought, questioning himself.
The wind gradually grew stronger. Then, as Shiki was walking, a black car sped past him. At that moment, Shiki stopped for a moment. Then, Shiki looked down and saw that his clothes were soaked with water.
"Damn it..! Everything's soaked!" Shiki exclaimed in frustration.
"Why don't they drive slower? It's raining this much... What if they had hit me?" Afterward, Shiki sighed in disappointment.
"Never mind... I'll just take a proper shower when I get home... Luckily, only my bag got a little wet"
Then, as Shiki continued walking towards his home, he noticed strange streams of water flowing.
These streams were red and flowed abundantly with the rainwater.
"It looks like blood..."
Shiki became interested in these streams. He wanted to know where they were coming from.

Saying this, Shiki slowly walked towards the direction from which the streams were flowing. The place where these red streams were flowing was along the same route he took to get home.
"It's coming from my dormitory..."
Shiki arrived near his dormitory building. He saw that the red streams were coming from the alley behind the building. Shiki approached the alley. Then, he slowly poked his head into the alley and looked. He saw that the red streams were coming from something spread out on the ground in the alley. However, it was too dark to see clearly what those scattered things were. Although Shiki knew he shouldn't do this, his curiosity was pushing him to the extreme. Shiki slowly approached those scattered things to get a better look. Night had fallen, and the rain had become heavier. Shiki felt a chilling presence. When he saw what was spread out on the ground, Shiki's heart raced, and he was so terrified that his eyes widened, and he fell backward in shock.
What he saw spread out on the ground were parts of a human body. These bodies had been brutally dismembered, and internal organs were spilling out. The two dismembered bodies were of a man and a woman, and when Shiki saw the woman's face, immense fear arose in his mind.
"T..Teacher Aoi!!" Shiki called out in a terrified voice.
The dismembered woman was Shiki's school teacher, Aoi.
Then, Shiki looked at the man's body beside the teacher. At that moment, Shiki became even more frightened and disgusted. The man's body had been excessively and brutally dismembered, even more horribly than Teacher Aoi. The man's head had been split into four parts, and half of his brain was crushed. Their internal organs were scattered here and there, but the cut surfaces of the body parts were very smooth and even.
Shiki's face, hands, and clothes were stained with blood from when he had fallen earlier, and Shiki suddenly vomited because of the unpleasant sight. Then, dark glitches began to appear on Shiki's body, and he screamed in terrified pain. Following that, Shiki suddenly woke up in his bed with a terrified and painful scream.
