Hello this is the Author, this will be my first ever Fanfic and i've decided to create one based on the DCU since i just started getting into comics. I simply ask that you bear with me as I write this story, and I would also like to apologize if I don't upload chapters in rapid succession like other authors on this site/app. I'll be trying to balance my school life, work, and this story all at once so there might be times in which I might announce a hiatus and for that I would like to apologize again.
Anyways here's some small background stuff i've been developing (please note things are subject to change, especially the order in which the bat family is grown).
Story will be set 11 years minus the current year 2025. Story starts in 2014. Making Batman's birth year 1976. For cross reference this will also be the same year Superman would land as a baby in the Kents farm. Wonder Woman will be 2,526 years old in 1976 making her 2,572 years old in 2022 when the entire bat family will be complete. - The ages of other characters will be changed at will to fit the narrative or will be respective to the true canon (i.e. comics, shows, games or movies depending on which media i pick up).

Damian Wayne is born to Bruce Wayne and Talia al ghul (0 years old)

Batman (38 years old at beginning of story)
Alfred (63 years old at beginning of story)
Dick Grayson (22 years old at beginning of story - now Nightwing)
Barbara Gordon (24 years old when she becomes crippled and turns into Oracle)
Jason Todd (15 years old and is captured and "killed" at start of story)
Main character (17 at beginning of story. Has yet to join or be invited to Bat family)
Year 15
Tim drake (joins bat family at 13 and becomes Robin)
Barbara Gordon (returns as Batgirl after undergoing experimental surgery and physical therapy)
Year 17
Cassandra Cain (joins bat family at 21)
Year 18
Jason Todd returns as Red hood
Year 19
Stephanie brown joins the bat family as spoiler/batgirl (20 years old)
Others will be added to the bat family throughout its completion as more vigilantes are revealed and or arrive in Gotham.
(Due note that the fanfic will not be exclusive to Gotham as i plan for the main character to eventually leave the city for a small period of time and let him explore other cities in which other heroes reside and other parts of the world if i decide that he will join any other organizations.
