Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: What The Hell...?

The crowd erupted into cheers as a young man delivered the final kick, securing his victory in the capoeira tournament. At just fifteen, he stood tall, breathing heavily, a proud smile on his face as the referee raised his hand in victory.

‎Ken Ishida, a 15 Year-old boy named Ken with spiky lemon hair with very long side bangs reaching up to his ears, flashing emerald green eyes, a sharp jawline, and a lean muscular body, just won his 1st ever National Martial Arts Tournament.

‎As the award ceremony began, He was filled with excitement and joy, as this was his 1st ever National tournament and he won at 1st Place.

‎After the Ceremony ended, he walked up to a beautiful lady sitting in the crowd, and said with a bright smile "I did it,Mom!! I finally won a National Tournament!!"

‎"Yes, you did. Congratulations, Ken!!" his mother cheered, her eyes were filled with pride.

‎Ken's mother was in her late 30s , yet extremely fragrant and beautiful, and with her elegant dressing sense, people often mistook her for a college sophomore, and she also shares the same lemon hair and emerald eyes as him.

‎Ken's only family is his mother, who raised him from childhood all alone. He has no memory of his father, and his mother also never talks about him. But She always supported Ken through everything and treats him like a best friend/brother.

‎"Let's go home!! It's time for celebration !!" Ken's mom continued...

‎"So, What would Mr. Champion, like to have as a reward?" with a cheeky smile.

‎"Well, a Hamburger Steak with some fries would be nice" Ken replied in a sarcastic tone, as if he was a King.

‎"Alright, You should go home without me, since you're already exhausted. I have to go shopping for the ingredients " Ken's mom said as she left.

‎When Ken got home, exhaustion hit him like a truck. He collapsed onto the couch, wiping the sweat from his forehead. The excitement of the day still buzzed inside him, but his body craved rest.

‎---

‎Later, at night, after they had their dinner, "Ken," his mom called softly, walking over to him. "It's time to sleep. You need to wake up early tomorrow. Remember, it's your Sixteenth birthday."

‎Ken's eyes lit up with the reminder. "Yeah! I almost forgot, I can't wait for tomorrow."

‎He headed to his room, lay down, and quickly drifted off to sleep. But as the night deepened, his dreams turned into something strange and terrifying.

‎Everything around him was pitch black. The silence was heavy, pressing down on him. Then, a sharp, eerie noise rang through the void. He looked around frantically, and in the distance, a sinister grin appeared, glowing faintly in the darkness.

‎"No… stop this," Ken muttered, clutching his head as the noise grew louder and more unbearable.

‎"I said STOPPPP!!!!!!!" he shouted.

‎Ken jolted awake, his heart pounding in his chest. Sunlight streamed through his window, casting a warm glow over his room. He let out a deep breath, running a hand through his hair.

‎"It was just a dream," he whispered, trying to shake off the lingering unease.

‎The daytime passed through, filled with excitement. As night fell, friends and neighbours gathered to celebrate Ken's sixteenth birthday. The house was alive with laughter, music, and the delicious scent of food filling the air.

‎When it was time to cut the cake, Ken stood in front of it, smiling at the people he loved. He picked up the knife, ready to make the first cut.

‎Someone in the crowd started counting down.

‎"Ten… nine… eight…"

‎Others slowly joined in, their voices echoing through the room.

‎"Three… two… one!"

‎"Happy Birthday,Ke-"

‎As Ken was about to slice the cake, and cheers erupted. But before anyone could comprehend the situation, the ground beneath them trembled violently.

‎"Earthquake!" someone shouted, and panic spread through the room. Everyone ran out of the room. But after a few seconds, the earthquake subdued and everyone calmed down.

‎The party continued, and everything went accordingly from there. After the party ended, Ken and his mom cleaned the place and went to sleep.

‎---

‎But during midnight,

‎Ken heard some grueling noises, and felt a dark presence. He jumped out of the bed and rushed outside, only to be met with a horrifying sight.

‎Two dark, ugly, wolf-like creatures, almost as tall as an average human, roamed through the corridor, where surprisingly his mom was already standing. Their twisted, dusky forms were unlike anything Ken had ever seen before.

‎One of the creatures locked eyes with his mom and lunged at her.

‎"No!!" Ken yelled, while running towards her and pushing her out of the way. The monster's sharp teeth sank into his shoulder, and he cried out in pain.

‎Ken tried his best to fight back, but slowly his body started to grow numb.

‎As the chaos unfolded before him, Ken watched in horror as pain and terror was taking over his whole body. The fear and shock paralyzed his body and thoughts.

‎Then, something strange happened.

‎A strange energy appeared out of nowhere and formed into a portal as the beasts swiftly ran towards the portal.

‎But before they enter the portal, one of the beasts bit Ken's hand and dragged him towards the portal.

‎"No,Ken!!! Don't... Please Let go of my Son!!!" Ken's mom cried as loud as she could, but it was too late.

‎But her grief was short-lived as suddenly, the other beast stopped and decided to not enter the portal and come after her.

‎"Mommm!!!!" Ken yelled at the top of his lungs as the beast dragged him through the portal and it started to close.

‎"No!!! The other beast is still there!!! Mom, Noooo!!!!!!" as the portal closes and he got teleported and fell to an unknown place.

‎Even before he could process what just happened, Ken started looking around, horrified and puzzled at the same time

‎"W-What the Hell?!" he yells...

‎"W-WHAT THE HELL IS THIS PLACE??!?"
