Tamar P.O.V.
"What's wrong?" demanded my mate Landon, sounding concerned.
"Miriam! They are being attacked by rogues. We need to go help them." I shouted as I mindlinked his parents to come watch our pups due to an emergency, and they quickly agreed.
"What? We have not had a rogue attack in years." countered Alpha River, sounding completely puzzled by my words.
"Fuck! Fuck!" shouted my mate Landon.
"They are not that far from the fork that divides our packs. Let's go!" I shouted, shifting into my huge jet-black wolf, Estine, and running towards my sister to save her and kill me some damn rogues.
Estine is and will always be a formidable, fearsome and frighteningly alarming presence to those that don't mean us any good. The size of my wolf can be shocking and alarming as well as unnerving. When we first arrived here, the Moon Shine Pack was thrown for a loop by our mere presence, but they have since adjusted well.
As I ran, I was joined by my mate, Beta Landon's wolf, Conrad, and Alpha River's wolf, Max, along with over two dozen of our pack's warriors.
I can feel Miriam calling out to me. Estine takes over and runs towards her. Estine is leading the way.
Suddenly, I heard vicious growls and what seemed like wolves jumping and falling. Are they trying to attack something in a tree? Is someone hiding in a tree?
Abruptly, Estine stops at the roadside and looks down the road. What I see scares me shitless! There is a car floating in the air towards me with rogues desperately jumping up and down trying to get at the badly damaged vehicle floating in the air.
"I am here, Sis! Are you hurt?" I mind linked my little sister.
"No! Just a little tired, but Dean is badly injured. Dean needs medical attention, asap. Everyone else is fine." Miriam calmly reported through the mindlink.
"So you put up a force field and floated the car to me? My little sister the total Badass!!" I asked, laughing in disbelief. How could she foolishly draw attention to us?
"Calm down! She knows not to reveal her powers unless it's an emergency." growled my wolf at me in anger. My wolf is more protective of my sister than me.
"I had no choice. I heard them say they need me alive. Some guy wants me unharmed and alive and delivered safely to him. They are to kill Alpha Kevin and Walker....kill everyone..... no witnesses and nothing to trace back to them or whoever this mystery asshole is that hired them to kidnap me." declared my sister through the link. People are definitely dying painful fucking deaths tonight.
"Not on my fucking watch. You did good. When I tell you to do so, you think you can swiftly fly the vehicle to the welcome sign at the beginning of our pack?" I asked her, trying to put my plan in motion as I tried to control my wolf's anger.
"Yes! I can! Do you have a plan?" she asserted, sounding confident.
"Of course! You did good, little sister. Now, let me do the rest. On my cue, fly to the sign." I ordered her.
"Okay, Tamar." assured my little sister.
I quickly mindlinked my pack members that are with me. "My sister is the intended target. I have a plan. While these assholes are focused on bringing the car down. We will take this opportunity to surround them. Once everyone is in place, we will close in. My sister will make sure they move the car out of harms way and into our territory. I need to keep at least two alive for questioning but kill the rest of these Muthafuckers. Any questions?"
"Alpha Kevin, can create force fields and make shit fly in the air?" asked Alpha River, looking around in total disbelief at the current situation.
"Something like that. I didn't really get into all that shit. Focus. We need to save my sister, and they have one injured. We need the pack doctor." I countered.
"Mindlinking him, now. Done! Let's end this!" voiced my mate Landon.
"You're right. Let's do it." ordered Alpha River to our warriors.
Therefore, I quickly mindlinked my sister to make sure her new friends kept their damn mouths shut about her abilities. She mindlinked back. They agreed to do so as long as she has 24/7 security with her moving forward. Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! I will deal with him and that later.
I watched as our warriors spread out and surrounded the rogues attacking the car that held my sister and her friends.
Conrad and Max stayed close to me as we closed ranks on them, making the circle smaller and smaller till I gave my sister the signal to take off. She took off like a bat out of hell to that sign. The rogues stood there in total shock as we attacked them.
My midnight black wolf, Estine, was ripping throats out left and right.
My wolf is clearly the biggest wolf out here, killing rogues. Conrad and Max are a little smaller than me with brown wolves. Conrad's eyes are still a loving amber. However, Alpha River's human eyes are sky blue and his wolf, Max's eyes, are forest green.
My pitch-black fur is covered in blood. The only thing that remains of my blackness are my coal-black eyes. I look around and the dead bodies of rogues are piling up.
Suddenly, two Alpha wolves, sable in color, join in the fight with us. I can tell it's Alpha Kevin and his younger brother, Walker.
They are working together as serious killing machines. Damn! I am impressed with their savagery. I don't impress easily.
Well! They look like they have this under control.
Therefore, I quickly mind-linked Conrad and Max to keep at least two rogues alive for questioning as I raced over to my little sister. I need to make sure that she is okay.
I found her with the pack doctor, Chandler, along with Ross, Brent and a badly injured Dean. Plus, they are surrounded by our warriors and Misty Mountain Pack's warriors.
Estine growled loudly, alerting her to our presence. Miriam looked over at me and her wolf, Cleopatra, quickly growled back in response. We rushed to each other.
Miriam is still in her human form and me in my wolf form. We were so happy to be reunited. We must have held each other crying for a long time because by the time I took notice of the world around us.
The fighting had completely ended. Everyone had shifted back and was dressed. They stood around us with several rogue prisoners.
Far too many, for my liking, are still alive, but I will take care of that soon enough.
My mate had a change of clothes for me. I quickly went with him behind a tree and got dressed.
