Chapter 1 - INTRODUCTION

It is the tissue that flows in your veins that carries life all over your body: it goes to your heart, and out of it to your organs, and so it keeps moving, thereby keeping you functional. That's the blood.

The Blood is classified as a fluid connective tissue because it is a liquid but contains cells and other elements that act as a connective component. So, it is life on its own, because it gives life to whatever part of the body which it flows through.

My point is, it doesn't matter who you are, or where you come from. As far as you are human, irrespective of your race, you carry the same blood that I carry.

My primary reason for writing this, is not to castigate, or to express criticism, or condemn anyone, black or white, though I would be making some corrections about the perception of some persons, which has affected others of a different races, or which has affected themselves as a result of depression or frustration.

Now, if you are familiar with graphic designs, you would agree with me that the beauty of Black is White, and vice versa. Take a close look at the cover page of this book for instance, and you would see that the writing on the dark side is in white colour; and on the white side is black colour. This is because they so much and perfectly complement each other. Trust me, they do more than you could imagine.

Black and White are like the two hands we have. You can't function well with just an arm; you need the two for perfect functioning. And just like we have five fingers on each hand, so do we have five letters in each of the words, black and white; and just as each finger of the hands is different from the rest, so is each letter in black and white different from the rest. In fact, you can't find a letter in "black" that appears in "white", yet they perfectly complement each other!

Also, I am not trying to bring unity to the world by writing this (though I would always pray and wish for it), but I just wanna point out how important each is and how dependant each is to the other. So, one is not superior to the other. Not at all.
