Ren and Ryota began their journey and arrived at a less developed village called Madi. The roads were dusty, and the houses were made of worn-out wood and stone. Despite its appearance, the village had a strange calmness.
As they stepped into the village, a man welcomed them with a warm smile.
"Hello" The man greeted cheerfully.
Ren walked past without saying a word, his eyes still cold and distant.
"Ah… don't mind him," Ryota said to the man. "He's just been like this lately."
The man laughed lightly. "No worries. I'm Hayashi Akito. Welcome to Madi."
After moving a little bit far from there they found a small house standing quietly beneath the shadow of nearby trees.
As they approached the house, the door creaked open. A tall, beautiful lady stepped out gracefully. She walked straight to Ren, bowed deeply, and said,
"Welcome back, Master."
Ren froze. Ryota's jaw dropped.
"W-Why are you calling me Master?" Ren asked, completely confused.
Just then, a short, high-heeled girl with bright eyes and a playful smirk walked out.
"Haha! Sister always does that," she giggled. "It's her dream to become a proper maid, and she greets every strong man she respects like that!"
The sword-wielding girl introduced herself.
"I'm Airi Suzune, and she's my older sister, Misaki Suzune."
Airi was full of energy and spark. Misaki, on the other hand, was calm, elegant, and graceful.
They both welcomed Ren and Ryota into their home.
Inside, Misaki spoke gently, "I know you both want to become stronger. But first, you must identify your magic element."
She continued,
"A magic element is one of the basic powers of nature. Examples include Fire, Water, Air, Earth, Light, Dark, Ice, and Thunder. People are born with one or more basic magic elements but some do not possess these basic magic elements.Magic elements are usually inherited from their parents."
Misaki pointed to a glowing orb placed on a stone stand.
"This magic ball will reveal your magic element. Go ahead, place your hand on it."
Ryota stepped forward, nervous but excited.
Airi said, "Good luck! Let's see what kind of magic you've got."
As Ryota touched the orb, it started to glow—then suddenly pulsed with two colors: red and yellow.
Airi says ,"Thunder and Fire… You have two magic elements? That's little bit rare.
She explained, "When someone has two or more elements, they can either use them separately or combine them to form something even stronger—called an Advanced Magic Element. For example, combining Fire and Thunder creates Plasma Magic—a blazing fast and devastating form of energy. But it comes at a cost."
"Cost?" Ryota asked.
"You need to sacrifice your control over the basic elements if you want to use the advanced magic element," she warned. But if you don't want advance magic elements you can simply use magic elements differently or use as a some kind of combined attack.
Also,Advance magic elements could be inherited too.
Now, it was Ren's turn.
He stepped up and placed his hand on the orb. It glowed bright white… but no magic element appeared.
Everyone looked shocked.
Ren stepped back, his face pale. "Why… Why is nothing showing?"
Ren thought, Do I really not have a magic element? Then how the hell will I fight those monsters.
He clenched his fists, shaken by what he saw. This was not what he expected.
