This is going to be a new chapter of my life. Even though I am lifeless. I have no hope of being alive. Yeah, I know I am a strong girl but at least then I had someone to cheer me.
I am always being stuck in my past. I remember every little thing exactly. But why? Why does it all have to happen?? Wh-
Jane's Mom: "Jane! Sweetheart, can you please come down? We need to talk."
Jane:"Yeah, coming mom." ( goes downstairs ) "What happend, mom?"
Jane's Mom:"Look. Sweetheart, I know that you understand and you're trying. But I will neel some help."
Jane:"Uh, okay. Tell me what to do? I will help you."
Jane's Mom:"So, you know that this us the old house of my parents...your grandparents."
Jane:"...Yes"
Jane's Mom:"Uh, so the thing is... well, okay. I will just go to the point. I need you to act like the elder of the house. I know you went through a lot but here, there is only going to me, you and your younger brother. So, while I will be not at home or need some help, you need to help me. Cuz you know I can't handle it all alone."
Jane:I know Mom, you can't do it alone. I know you better than you do yourself.* "Okay, mom. Whenever you're going to need help, I am here for you."
Jane's Mom:"what a relief. You know you're my little sweety baby. You've grohn up so much. Really! Time flies so fast."
Jane: Yeah, sure they do.(in a sadful voice)
Jane's Mom:"Good thing I have you here or else what would i have done. You're my only hope now. You and your brother are left sunshines of my world. Well, I hope you take care of your brother while i am out." (in a hopeful voice)
Jane:"Yeah, sure. Afterall, he's my little boy." I will do anything for him cuz he's the only thing i have left here now**
Jane's Mom:"Honey, you must be so be tired. Go wash up and get some rest, then we will eat lunch."
Jane:"Okay, mom. You should also rest. We can clean the house later... together."
Jane's Mom:"Sure, darling." (says in a happy voice)
Jane:"I am going upstairs. See you later." ( leaves )

Jane's pov:
Okay. Even though I know I am depressed about this $hit but still I have to.
Mom is really going through a hard thing. She is crying inside but puts a smile on her face just so we won't be worried.
It's just so scary a beautiful smile can hide. How much pain it can hide with just a simple smile which makes me, us happy.(starts crying)***
But I have to be strong just like elder brother. I have to be the elder of this house while mom's not around. I have to protect my brother.
But...
It's so shocking cuz big bro always protected us but now he's gone. Who's gonna protect us... us now??????
Jane's Mom:"Honey, come down. Dinner's ready."(shouting from downstairs)
Jane:(wipes down her tears**) "Okay, mom. I am coming."
**goes downstairs**
Jane's Mom:"There you are. We have been waiting for you so long. Here's you lunch. Enjoy."
Jane:"Thank you, momo"
Jane's Mom:"Heyy, stop calling me that."
*Jane and her brother Jade both chuckles.
