"Garret, my dear son. Your father and I are about to journey to the stars now."
The gentle voice echoed the image of Laila, his mother.
It buried in Garret's mind like a fading mist before extinguishing.
Garret's eyes caught the reflection of the sharp, purple light from the spheral man's ring piercing towards him.
"Dang it, calm down, calm down."
Garret took deep breaths to soothe the anger.
Which was gnawing at his mind before muttering to himself:
"We have to kill that thing, not because of hatred, but to protect our friends."
Not long after, Garret slowly rose, casting his Authority to beat Spheral Man before him.
The wind from Garret's energy whipped around his body, his eyes turning azure.
"Perish!"
Dimension 3: The Distortion of Form
After Garret twisted his hand, the ring that fired purple projectiles began to crack, like glass.
The spherical man felt the pressure and crushing force within his body.
As if his Authority was about to tear itself.
"Why? Where is he getting this power from?"
On Cuby-chan's side, who was floating in the conference room of the ship, she saw a deep blue energy radiating intensely from the center of Garret's body.
Her mouth hung open, and she asked Asami:
"Is Authority this powerful?"
Asami turned to her and said,
"That's because Garret has brought forth more of the hidden energy of his body to use as Authority than the rest of us."
"But isn't Garret's Authority controlled by Charlotte?"
Hearing Cubie-chan's word, Asami fell silent.
Unsure how to respond.
Meanwhile, the Spheral Man, battered by Garret's Authority.
The pain in his chest from the swirling blue Try-angle light.
Unimaginable.
Trying to focus, the Spheral Man unleashed a heavier barrage of purple light at Garret, and ordered the pirate ship.
"Launching a bomb"
The bomb hurtled forward.
The purple light slashed.
But-
"Where are you now?"
The Spheral Man chuckled in his throat.
Behind him-
"Collapse!"
3rd Dimension: Hexagon Force!!!
Hexagon emanating from the cubic Troy surged forth in multiple spectrums.
"This isn't good, I have to retreat!"
Finished speaking, Spheral man and his 500 troops vanished into the spaceship.
Garret glanced sideways at the pirate ship just before it-
Boom!
The pirate spacecraft dropped a poison gas bomb directly onto Leon's unconscious body lying on the ground.
This time, the poison gas was much stronger, seeping into Leon's bloodstream.
"A little souvenir. No need to thank me."
The echoing voice of the Spheral Man boomed from the ship before his spacecraft flew away.
Garret witnessed this, gritted his teeth, and clenched his fist tightly.
That scum! Kicking a man when he's down, huh?
The thought burned in his mind like hellfire before Garret turned to Leon's unconscious form behind him.
Garret gently placed his finger under Leon's nose and could feel Leon's faint breath against his skin, almost extinguished.
He carefully lifted Leon's limp body onto his shoulder.
"Come with me to the ship. I'll give you first aid."
Garret's hands trembled, like a reflection of the memories of him and Leon clinging to his mind.
Leon, I hope you can go back to being your usual chaotic self.
Garret's footsteps carried him along the white wing of the ship, heading towards the conference room.
Arriving at the conference room, Garret gently laid Leon down on the sofa.
Under the watchful gaze of the remaining three.
"Lieutenant Leon, are you alright?" Mark asked.
"The Spheral Man... he shot a poison gas bomb at him... Do you know how to help him?" Garret replied.
"I... I have no idea, Lieutenant Garret."
Hearing Garret's words, Asami's hands began to tremble as she thought to herself.
No... this isn't good... Will Leon be alright?
"Is there any way to make his breathing easier?" she asked.
Asami's question sparked an idea in Garret's thought.
"Ok Mark, do you have a portable respirator?"
Mark nodded and hurriedly rummaged through his bag.
"Ah, will this work?" he asked, holding up a device.
Garret looked at the object in Mark's hand and nodded.
"Perfect! You pump his chest, and I'll cast my Authority to check his condition."
Garret responded before calling out, "Cubie, come with me. Let's cast our Authority together to check Leon's condition."
"Okay," Cubie-chan replied, quickly floating closer to Garret before casting-
Selected
A shimmering blue light flickered around Leon's body.
Moments later, Garret saw a holographic image highlighting every system within Leon's body. Everything was ready for him to use the check system.
As he activated it, a blue box appeared:
< We regret to inform you, Garret,
Leon's condition is too severe to be treated with conventional medical methods.
Due to the Authority-based enchantment.
Only treatment from an Authority Expert can help him. >
Garret rubbed his temples in stress.
Although Leon was still breathing, he knew all too well that the Grim Reaper would soon come for his friend.
"Leon, we're trying to help you. Hang in there, buddy," he said, his hand on Leon's wrist where the portable respirator was attached.
Asami saw Garret's expression and glanced at the message box. A tightness filled her chest, and she let out a long sigh.
But everything was interrupted by a call on Asami's cell phone from her father.
"Hello, Dad!"
"My dear daughter, you've become a Cosmic Ranger! Are you happy?"
"Yes, I am, but I don't have time right now. My friend was hit by a poison gas bomb, and normal treatment won't work," she replied.
Having received her father's advice, she informed everyone.
"The Marrywell Leaf. My dad says it can treat Leon's condition!"
"Excellent! Especially since that leaf is on the planet Reist, which is where we're headed," Mark replied.
"But someone needs to take care of Leon,"
Garret asked while checking Leon's pulse.
"Leave that to me," Cubie-chan replied with a serious tone, nodding firmly.
Hearing that, Garret carried Leon's body to his bedroom before dashing back to the conference room.
He stood on the white floor next to Asami before saying to her,
"His life rely on you and me."
Hearing this, Asami nodded, a flurry of emotions racing through her mind.
Sigh... Leon, I don't even know what to say. When we're together, all we do is argue. But now that something might happen to you... why do I feel this strange worry for you?
