Chapter 16 - Episode 16 – Secrets of Blood and Fire

---

Scene 1: Ryden's Decision

The fire crackled quietly as Aeron sat in silence, holding both rings. Ryden stood behind him, arms crossed, deep in thought. After a long pause, he finally spoke.

> Ryden:

"Before anything, I need to inform the king. Your elders will decide what comes next."

He took out a glowing orb, whispered into it, and a small flame burst into the sky—vanishing in the direction of the royal palace.

> Azrakel (to readers):

"Ah yes, magical texting! Except if you leave it on read, you might start a war."

---

Scene 2: The King Receives the Message

Back in the royal court, the king was surrounded by ministers and family during a political meeting. A golden orb flew in through the window and landed in his hand. He read the message, and his expression darkened.

Without a word, he burned the orb to ash.

> Official:

"Your Majesty, what was that message?"

> King (calmly):

"Nothing important."

The court members exchanged nervous glances. But inside the king's mind, thoughts roared like storms.

> (Inner Monologue)

"So… the child carries her blood. This changes everything."

---

Scene 3: A Meeting is Called

The king sent orders in secret: arrange a meeting with the Flameborne Clan, Aeron's hidden maternal family.

Ryden received the confirmation two days later. The location was neutral—an ancient temple guarded by both clans' elders.

When Aeron heard this, his heart raced.

> Aeron:

"You're sure this is safe?"

> Ryden:

"No. But it's necessary."

> Azrakel:

"And don't worry! If it goes wrong, I'll throw in a joke before we all burn alive."

---

Scene 4: The Gathering

In a mountain temple, the king stood tall on one side, while three elders from the Flameborne Clan entered slowly. One of them—the oldest—carried a cane etched with fire runes. It was Aeron's grandfather. Beside him, two men with stern faces—his uncles.

> Flameborne Elder:

"So… he is alive. And he carries the fire."

> King (nodding):

"He is my son. But the world isn't ready to know yet."

The decision was made:

> King:

"He will train. He will grow. When the time is right, he will be revealed—not just as my son, but as one who carries power from two great bloodlines."

The Flameborne elders agreed, though not all were pleased.

---

Scene 5: Shadows Whisper

Unknown to the main families, some Flameborne clan members who had connections with the king's inner circle heard whispers of this meeting.

> Hidden Flameborne (to spy):

"We don't know why they met… but something is happening."

> Spy:

"Should we inform the king's enemies?"

> Hidden Flameborne:

"Not yet. First… we watch. Then we strike."
