Julius Crane shook his head. "You said I am useless. What is it you want from me again? What can your House give me that I don't already have? I have zero need to join you."
Severin nodded. As expected of a Crane. He understood the basic principles of the world, the logic of incentives. What can you give me?
But most times, it's not always like that. Ethan and Derrick were exactly like that. Severin gave one power, and he didn't leak one secret.
