Chapter 4 - Part 2: Apex of the Dragon

Apex of the Dragon

The moment Ddraig's voice echoed in Leon's mind, a rush of ancient knowledge surged into his consciousness—battlefields scorched by dragonfire, skies torn asunder by wings too large to measure, and the roar of a king no one could tame.

And Leon stood at the heart of it all.

Leon raised his arm slowly, observing the evolved form of the gauntlet. It wasn't just a weapon anymore—it was a crown forged in battle.

"Boost," he whispered, almost experimentally.

[Dominate – x1.5 Multiplier Activated]

Power rippled through his body instantly, crackling up his arm and across his chest. The wind around him bent, the ground cracked beneath his feet, and the sky dimmed slightly—as if nature itself recognized the presence of a true emperor.

Ddraig's voice returned, now calm but firm.

"You are not the first to wear me, but you are the first who commands. The others begged for my strength… You simply take it."

Leon smirked. "I don't need permission to rule."

Meanwhile – Student Council Room

Sona Shitori froze mid-sentence, a bead of sweat running down her temple.

"Did you feel that?" she asked, rising from her seat.

Tsubaki nodded sharply. "It's… divine draconic pressure. No—something twisted around it. Evolved."

At the same moment, across the school, Rias stood at the top floor of the old school building, her eyes wide with dread.

"That's Issei's Sacred Gear," she whispered. "But... it's not him anymore."

Kiba and Akeno appeared beside her.

Akeno narrowed her eyes. "That's Leon, isn't it?"

Kiba frowned. "What kind of monster steals a Sacred Gear?"

Rias didn't answer. But her heart beat faster.

She'd seen strong men before. Even dangerous ones.

But Leon… was something entirely different.

Back at the Clearing

Issei struggled to rise, holding his arm where the gear used to reside. His body was pale, sweat beading on his face.

"You... y-you're a monster…" he croaked.

Leon stared down at him, unreadable.

"No. I'm your upgrade."

Without another word, he turned away.

[Boost] – x3[Boost] – x4[Dominate Protocol Engaged: Multipliers stacking without time delay]

Ddraig growled in approval.

"You manipulate my power better than any host I've known in centuries. With this control... you could even rival Albion."

Leon gave a cold smile. "Rival? I plan to bury him."

As he walked off, the grass where he stepped smoldered—not with fire, but sheer presence.
