Arthur was still reeling from the principal's words when a sleek black car pulled up to the school. A well-dressed man with a chiseled face and piercing eyes stepped out.
Marcellus Gears, the man introduced himself as, had an air of confidence that commanded attention. He was ushered into the principal's office, where Arthur was still sitting.
"Arthur Prott," Marcellus said, his voice smooth as silk. "I've heard a lot about your... abilities."
Arthur felt a shiver run down his spine as Marcellus's eyes seemed to bore into him.
"I represent a certain... organization," Marcellus continued. "We're interested in recruiting talented individuals like yourself for a special program."
The principal looked surprised but nodded for Marcellus to continue.
"You're aware of the Human Protection Act, I'm sure," Marcellus said. "Well, our organization is working to... mitigate its effects. We believe Inhumans like yourself have a crucial role to play in shaping the future."
Arthur's mind was racing. What kind of organization was this? And what did they want from him?
"What kind of program?" Arthur asked, trying to sound cautious.
Marcellus smiled. "Let's just say it's a chance to make a difference. You'll be well-compensated, of course. And you'll receive special privileges."
Arthur hesitated, unsure of what to make of the offer. Part of him was intrigued, but another part was wary.
"What kind of privileges?" Arthur asked.
Marcellus leaned forward. "You'll be exempt from certain... restrictions. You'll have the freedom to live your life as you see fit. And, of course, you'll be helping to shape the future of our world."
Arthur wasn't sure what to make of the offer. But he was definitely interested in learning more.
