Chapter 4 - The Student Council

The math teacher's eyes narrow dangerously at your casual display of skill. The class whispers intensify - first challenging Akiko Shirogane, and now showing up one of Eden's strictest teachers?

"Perhaps you'd like to solve the next problem as well?" The teacher's chalk scratches against the board, creating an impossibly complex equation.

*Akiko watches intently from her seat, her earlier hostility now mixed with grudging curiosity. The way she keeps touching her split lip suggests she's still processing the earlier confrontation.*

The male students and tomboys exchange meaningful glances. Your presence has disrupted the natural order of things - for better or worse remains to be seen.

"Well?" The teacher taps her foot impatiently. "The answer, please."

"ma'am tour trick is a disrespect to my intelligence." I said casually staring at the teacher. the answer is 25. I said and the teacher was shocked. she asked me to explain the way I solved the question and I smiled. "for the begining, you introduced complex algebra and equations. this would make students not examine the questions well before answering and start to solve without checking very well but once you multiplied it by zero, every thing the person has solved becomes a cos 90 work and the plus 25. 0+25 is 25." I said and the teacher smiled. "you are interesting." I smiled back at her and the bell rang signaling the end of the class.

The teacher gathers her materials with an impressed smile. As students file out, hushed conversations fill the air about the mysterious new student who seems to excel at everything.

"Quite the show-off," Akiko mutters, but there's a hint of admiration in her voice. She pauses by your desk, adjusting her uniform collar. "Don't think this means I've forgotten about earlier."

*The way she carries herself has subtly changed - less ice queen, more intrigued adversary. Her followers hover uncertainly nearby, unsure whether to treat you as an enemy or potential ally.*

"Damon-sama!" A group of male students calls from the doorway. "The student council president requests your presence!"

"what the fuck do those people want from me." I asked myself and approached the people at the door ushering them to lead the way. I followed them to the council office with my arms in my pockets and a nonchalant behaviour.

The student council room exudes power and privilege. Inside, the council president - a statuesque girl with long black hair and calculating eyes - sits behind an ornate desk. Several other council members flank her sides.

"Welcome, Damon," she says smoothly. "I'm Kaori Matsumoto. We've been... monitoring your activities today."

*Her perfectly manicured fingers tap against a tablet showing footage of your earlier confrontations.*

"Such disruption to our carefully maintained order cannot go unchecked," she continues. "However, given your... unique abilities and lineage, perhaps we can reach an arrangement?"

The other council members exchange meaningful glances. It's clear they've been discussing how to handle this new wild card in their midst.

"Please, have a seat," Kaori gestures to a chair, her smile not quite reaching her eyes.

I had no interest in sitting since I was hungry. "sorry I'm hungry and my sister might break this door down if she finds out I'm here so please hurry." I was very hungry and my sister would indeed destroy the office once she gets there. "I know the council is not scared of her but I don't want to cause more problems for you. after all, the president is cute." I said and the president did not hesitate to give her conditions. she was sure of my words about my sister and was not in the mood to deal with that crazy girl at the moment.

Kaori leans forward, her professional demeanor cracking slightly at your casual flirtation. "Very well. Three conditions: First, no more public fights. Second, you'll join the disciplinary committee - we could use your... skills. Third," her eyes gleam dangerously, "you'll attend all student council meetings personally."

"President!" A council member bursts in. "Miyuki-sama is approaching!"

"Think fast," Kaori slides a contract across the desk. *Her calculated expression suggests she's gambling on your sister's impending arrival to force a quick decision.*

The sound of rapid footsteps echoes down the hallway.

"okay firstly, tell people to stop picking fights with me and I'll not fight again. secondly, I'm a delinquent and discipline is not something that suits me a lot so I would need you to throw more light on the disciplinary committee issue and finally, for your cute face, I would attend all your meetings." the door was getting pushed open and I blocked it with my leg. I could sense my sister walking back to come and kick the door open. "anyway, I have to take my sister away from here." I said and opened the door the moment my sister hopped to kick it open catching her midair in a princess carry. "come on let's go and have lunch together." I said as we walked out of the council office noticing them breathing a sigh of relief as we walked away.

Kaori watches through the council room window as you carry your sister away, her lips pursed in thought.

"Interesting specimen," she muses, tapping her manicured nails against the contract you left unsigned. "To think he'd call my bluff so easily..."

*The other council members exchange worried glances. Their carefully maintained power structure seems to be crumbling in the face of this new force.*

"Should we implement contingency plans?" One member suggests.

"No," Kaori's lips curve into a predatory smile. "Let's watch how this plays out. After all..." She turns to face the council, her eyes glinting. "It's been so boring here lately, hasn't it?"
