Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: The frog cub is back and brought back [Sharingan]

The owls only stayed in the Great Hall for a short while before flying off with food in their beaks.

"Hey Ron, check this out—someone tried to rob a vault at Gringotts. Vault 713. But the goblins said nothing was actually stolen," Harry said in surprise, scanning the newspaper.

Vault 713. Hagrid had taken him there once to retrieve something... mysterious. There was definitely a secret behind it.

"Come on, last class of the day—flying lessons. We're taking it together with the other house," Lucas yawned and said to Hermione beside him.

The afternoon flying class was one of the most anticipated among the young wizards.

It was taught by the capable Madam Hooch, who was also the referee for the Hogwarts Quidditch matches. Her flying credentials were beyond doubt.

As expected, the lesson didn't go without incident. Neville, unable to control his broomstick, fell and broke his arm. Madam Hooch immediately rushed him to the infirmary.

"Hey, a Remembrall!"

Malfoy had finally recovered from the morning's embarrassment and found the Remembrall Neville had dropped, shaking it tauntingly in front of Harry.

"I think I'll hide it somewhere. Sounds like fun, don't you think, Harry Potter?"

With just a bit of provocation, a broom chase kicked off in an instant.

"Those two are really talented," Lucas admitted, watching Harry and Malfoy zoom through the air.

Hermione frowned at the broom still lying on the ground and stomped her foot.

"There must be something wrong with this broom!"

"Want to try mine?" Lucas offered casually, handing over his broom.

"You're doing this on purpose!" Hermione huffed, shooting him an annoyed glare.

The high-speed chase ended when Harry caught the Remembrall, but Professor McGonagall soon showed up and took Harry away, clearly flustered, while Malfoy scowled in frustration.

The lesson wrapped up shortly after Madam Hooch returned. With a student injured, flying techniques would have to wait for another day.

As Lucas reached into his robe pocket, he felt something unfamiliar—several photos that hadn't been there during the lesson.

Pulling them out, he realized they were from the frog cub that had gone traveling.

The first few pictures were cheerful—smiling villagers with fan-shaped crests on the backs of their robes.

"The Uchiha clan?" Lucas immediately recognized the symbol. But the last photo made his expression shift.

It was a corpse, blood-red against the backdrop of a crimson moon.

A massacre.

And the date stamped on the back? Today.

The frog cub would be returning today?

So this trip had taken it to the Uchiha clan during the night of the massacre. That meant the souvenirs might be... something else entirely.

After dinner, since it had been the last class of the day, Lucas said goodbye to Hermione and returned to the Slytherin common room.

He found Malfoy and his usual cronies already back, fully immersed in a game.

"Chop that log for me—those werewolves are such a pain!"

"Watch out! The one that explodes—don't let it in!"

"Ugh, if only these blocky people could use magic..."

They were completely absorbed in their game and didn't even notice Lucas come in.

Hogwarts didn't allow electrical appliances, and in theory, nothing related to electricity should work here.

But for some reason, the devices Lucas had brought from other worlds functioned just fine.

Naturally, this kind of advanced tech quickly captivated the other young wizards.

Lucas didn't join them. With his frog cub on the way back, his thoughts were elsewhere.

To the Slytherins, nighttime was no different than daytime. Outside the common room window, the lake shimmered green, its underwater plants swaying with the current.

If you wanted to stargaze, the Ravenclaw Tower was the best place for that.

Lucas turned on the electric lamp he had gotten from another world, bathing the greenish, gloomy room in warm light.

Malfoy noticed the light and blinked, surprised.

Though they were pure-blood wizard nobles, they still used some Muggle items at home, and knew what electric lights were.

But those needed electricity, right?

There was no electricity at Hogwarts.

Confused, he chose not to think too much about it. If it worked, it worked.

Malfoy waved his game console at Lucas. "Still got plenty of battery—we can play all night!"

"You guys go ahead. I've got something to do tonight," Lucas replied, shaking his head as he pulled out the book Hermione had lent him: Characteristics and Habits of Magical Creatures.

Now that he had a familiar bond, he figured he'd flip through the book and find a magical creature worth contracting with.

He vaguely remembered a legendary serpent living in the school—something about petrifying students...

Too fuzzy to recall in detail.

Suddenly, a familiar croak echoed through the room. Lucas's eyes lit up.

Wearing a tiny lotus leaf like a backpack, the frog cub hopped in, carrying a small bundle.

"Let's see what you brought back this time," Lucas murmured, untying the pack.

Inside were two blood-red eyes, each patterned with intricate shapes.

Lucas inhaled sharply—he recognized them instantly.

Then the item identification window popped up:

[Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan (Kamui)] — A rare souvenir from the world of Naruto Shippuden.Effect: Grants the specified pupil techniques, including copying, illusions, and more.Use: After tireless effort and dangerous adventures, the frog cub has successfully combined the two eyes into an Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan. To use: Either pluck out your current eyes and replace them directly—or fuse them through experience-less integration.

"...What?!"

These were indeed Kamui Sharingan, but eternal Mangekyō?

Lucas's eyes widened. He hadn't expected that at all.

The frog cub had managed to collect both Kamui eyes and synthesize them into an eternal version?

That blew Lucas's understanding out of the water.

How in the world had the frog cub pulled that off?
