Eero sprang up, grasping Michka's hand firmly.
"Hold on tight!" he exclaimed. She placed her hand on his shoulder, and he wrapped his arm around her waist.
With a swift adjustment of his feet, he launched himself into a levitated sprint, clutching Michka closely as they soared up to the terrace.
They ghosted through every obstacle with ease, their movement almost ethereal.
When they got to the peak of Crimson spire —the ancient castle of vampires, Eero's instincts perked up; he turned to Michka, his eyes locking onto hers.
"We have to get out of here" he said, his voice low and urgent.
And that's when he saw it – a pair of glowing eyes, staring back at him.
Eero reacted instinctively, his vampire reflexes taking over. He lunged at the eyes, his fangs bared.
But as he attacked, he realized that he was facing something unexpected —a rogue vampire, one that he had never seen before.
The vampire was fast, dodging Eero's attacks with ease.
But he was determined to protect Michka.
Eero fought back, his fangs snapping wildly.
The battle was intense, the two of them clashing in a flurry of teeth and claws.
But as the fight wore on, Eero began to tire—The rogue vampire was too strong, too fast.
And then, just as all hope seemed lost, Michka intervened.
She grabbed a nearby wooden stake and plunged it into the vampire's heart.
The vampire let out a blood-curdling scream as it disintegrated into dust.
Michka turned to him, her eyes wide with fear.
"Eero, are you okay?" she asked.
Eero nodded, his chest heaving with exhaustion.
Michka glanced at him —he didn't seem fine to her.
She dropped the plank tightly clutched in her hand and pulled Eero into a tight hug.
"I thought I'd lose you" she said amidst tears.
A cold whirl of wind brushed past them and Eero sensed their fight was far from over.
He turned around, his eyes scanning the environment. He felt the strong presence of multiple vampires of greater Ranks. They were after the crystal —he knew that for sure.
He would protect Michka no matter what...

As their presence drew closer, Eero's energy evolved around him, his aura darkening as the Alphas, now visible, approached them both... But why?
"Eero, about that...Crystal, there's something I have to tell you.." Michka started but before she could complete her statement, walked in, his presence as cold as ever.
"It didn't take long for us to realise that the Crystal which you pulled out earlier was fake"
"He's right Eero" Michka said with a downcast look.
"so what if it was fake huh?"
"You've grown a lot of nerves Eero, but that's not even why I'm here; the Alphas have come to steal the Crystal".
"Do well to protect the girl, we'll hold them off." Om said with a smile —one that Eero had never seen since they first met, in truth, he always thought Om could never smile; it was like he didn't even exist at all because his presence was always distant.
"But ...you and.. who?" Eero asked.
"Us of course" a voice called from behind him and looking back at Timat, Nero, Summi and Iris who all gave him a reassuring look, he smiled triumphantly and so did Michka.
The vampire brothers charged at the Alphas, swooping with determination as they slay them very effortly.
The battle ended and the Moon Vampires emerged victorious, each panting from exhaustion.
As they stood together, unified in their determination, Eero felt a sense of hope that he hadn't felt in a long time.
They still had many questions, but they were ready to face whatever lay ahead.
Michka smiled up at him, her eyes shining with a newfound understanding. "We're in this together, now"
Eero's heart swelled with emotion as he nodded.
"Together"
And as they sealed their newfound alliance with a resolute nod, the shadows around them seemed to recede, banished by the light of their determination.
As the dust settled, Michka turned to Eero, her eyes sparkling with excitement, he pulled him close and planted a kiss on his lips; they shared that rosy moment and as the sun rose, the Vampire brothers began to care, disintegrating into dust one by one.
Michka paused, turned to the fading vampires and looked back at Eero, "Wait... don't tell me..." tears welling up in her eyes.
"I'm sorry Michka, it's for the best I hope to be born again... as a complete human being... bye for now, our paths shall cross again maybe in the next world to come"
And with that, he too started to fade into dust, Michka wiped off the tears running down her cheeks with one faint smile playing on her lips. "I'll miss you".
The first snow of the season started to fall lightly, the cool breeze brushing across the surface of the earth.
Michka watched her new-found love fade before her eyes... She would savour this memory forever...
THE END?
