Senko listened intently to the conversation.
Jiho: "Yeah... This is definitely the bigger question right now. Figuring out why we can see him will probably answer itself along the way."
The prince nodded in agreement—this approach seemed logical.
Uncle Hiroto: "Let's pause here for now. If I think of anything, I'll let you know. For the moment, we all need time to process... well, all of this."
Senko: "Thank you for your help."
Ariha: "Of course! We're just as curious about this anomaly as you are." She grinned.
Jiho: "And while we figure it out, we'll help you adjust to our world. Whether you can return or not, learning new things never hurts."
Senko: "Adjust...?"
Jiho: "Yeah. Ariha and I will guide you."
A brief silence fell. Only the four of them—and Nana, who still eyed the unseen presence warily—occupied the room.
Then, without warning, a little boy burst in. His wheat-blond hair and sapphire-black eyes marked him as family.
Akito: "Papa, what's going on in—" He spotted the guests. "Sis Ariha! Big Bro Jiho!!" He launched himself at them with a giggle.
Jiho: "Whoa, Akito! You've grown since we last met!" He scooped up the boy and spun him around.
Akito: "Hahaha! I eat all my veggies and go to daycare! Everyone likes me!"
Jiho: "Impressive. And do you listen to Mom and Dad?"
Akito: "Yep!" The boy's gaze suddenly drifted past them, squinting. "Who's that? Why's he all... blurry?"
The room froze.
Hiroto: "Akito... you see someone?"
Akito: "Mhm! He's got yellow hair like Sis and Bro!"
Hiroto: "That's our guest from... very far away. Even your sister can't see him." He glanced at Nana, who paled.
Just then, Hiroto's wife entered.
Auntie: "Ariha? Jiho? Is everything alright?"
Jiho: "I'm heading home soon, but Ariha's staying the night."
Akito: "Mama! Bro and Sis brought a guest! Is he staying too?"
Auntie: "A guest? I don't see..."
Hiroto: "Only our family can see him. Kids—is he staying?"
