His Yellow Sand sensation felt something passing. He pushed his procrastination as well as his lazy mind away and pulled out his Miracle Stone and held it.
This was his first time using it, so he held it with both hands while trying to make it affect the cave around him.
Under his amazed eyes, the sand cluster held by the force of yellow taint began to solidify and became one.
The six cracks also began to heal one by one, but slowly and he understood that it required some certain feedback to be able to master this stonification on his own.
Another subtle snap happened and the cave was now one and strong. An amateur eye might think it was original.
Lawa panted; he didn't feel his worsening fatigue when using the stone until he finished.
But he was content.
He stashed away the stone, pulled water and drank a little, took his ration that kept hunger away and also gave energy to the body.
He spread a thin 2-meter-long fabric and dropped his saliva on a circle. Immediately it inflated and became a soft bed.
He then carefully removed his clothes, wore soft ones, and pulled his blanket, but not until he placed a thick yellow stone on the made-up cave wall.
Marma Hard Stone
It will serve to harden the wall more, and if there is an attack, it will protect him until he wakes and gets ready.
Sleep came a few seconds the moment he closed his eyes.
***
From the outside the cave was a small head watching the newly made stone cave. It was that lizard that clashed with Lawa.
It wagged its tail, and the sand splashed around; this alerted a hundred more lizards to come out.
With their little intelligence, they knew all they had to do was focus on a single location and place their venom, and all of them pulled together.
This way they will make their way and reach the delicious human.
They move with practice and ease until they notice something.
It was like the wind was blowing their way, and sand particles were rolling toward the yellow stone cave.
They moved away, watching. Was there something powerful that caused this?
They noticed no one and continued their work, spitting on a single part of the stone cave but problems arose because sand was coming and covering the location.
Not just that location but the whole cave was being covered with sand particles.
In just a few minutes there was a centimetres thick sand layer. Even if they moved fast, they would have to deal with the numerous sand that were coming.
They did try but weren't able to break a considerable chunk of the stone before too much sand was there.
By the time the sun was rising, something had formed around the cave.
Yellow Sand Dune.
Lawas' Second Rachis Hold.
Lawa stretched; he might be under a layer of a small Dune, but the light of the sun had reached him in a way.
That was part of his desire, To wake up when the sun was up.
He deflated his bed, rolled it and placed it inside a small bottle that was smaller than his pinkie finger. Then he pulled out a stone stove and a pot and went through a simple recipe of worming of dried ration.
Then, the best part he learned truly was using dried powder of fruits and other leaves and making warm juice.
He made a silent wish in his mind and began to eat. Enjoying every moment. Camping was something they learned extensively and Lawa was content since he had all the tools he needed now.
He packed, wore back his traveller clothes and stored everything away. And observed the stone cave.
It had held on till morning. It has been a given since the Miracle Stone was used.
He ran his hand around it to capture the general feedback of the whole cave, and he noticed the venom.
"Those bastards." He cursed with a smile on his face.
But then his heart skipped a beat, and the Dune appeared on his mind.
"Isn't this too much passive Innate effect?"
Lawa was shocked. The Dune was enormous considering the size of the cave.
It was about 8 meters tall and that was a lot. The fact it was held and not crumbling despite the wind blowing spoke volumes of its integrity.
"Miracle Stone…" Lawa commented.
He felt the Dune and smiled, to make this natural form, one needed to study a specific skill and that his Rachis Hold but if Lawa was to do it on his own it won't be as good as this one.
Lawa widened the cave door and swam out toward the direction of his destination.
At first, he shifted the stand to make him move, but then, he stopped and became silent for the passive effects to take over.
He watched as the sand moved and turned, he felt and held it in his mind as that was the effective way for this to be achieved.
He quickly scribed that on the tablet until he came out of the Dune.
He basked under the sunlight before he pulled out his staff and walked ahead.
He was enjoying the peace and the small experiences because he needed them. As he can't rely on the passive effects, it was too slow.
However, the passive effects were his key to success because they showed him the best way to utilize his ability.
As he had told himself to do so that he wouldn't get sidetracked, he pulled the scribe tablet and ran through what he should do.
He sighed as he looked up, he was now kilometres away from his Dune. He had only about 35 kilometres before he reached his first destination.
A small settlement that was always on the move. Sometimes they settle down close to the desert and provide some services.
One such service was guidance to an important location in all of Jaha.
Throw Destination.
It was one of the greatest services required by anyone. Sometimes, they use Maha Beast, sometimes they use Craftwork, and sometimes they use cultivator's Rachis Hold to achieve this service.
Jaha was the name of the world and it was incomparably large.
Traveling was the hardest job especially since there were dangerous Maha Beast as well as humans everywhere.
Throw Destination was the name of the business that uses various means to propel a person, a wagon or even a Beast from one location to another.
With ease, Normal Humans and Body Stage Humans can travel for more than 10,000 kilometres in short amounts of time while avoiding dangerous places and beasts.
Lawa smiled; he had never ridden those that covered thousands of kilometres. It will be an exciting experience.
Craftwork ships and vehicles were just luxuries that few had, and even then, Throw Destination was required for literally covering extremely large distances.
Jaha's atmosphere and landscape in some places were harmful to certain people.
No matter how fast you are, if you enter dangerous locations that reject you, death might be the outcome.
