"Running will only make me harder, boooooy!!!" The gangly creepypasta-looking Stray Devil yelled as it chased me from afar on four legs. "This is fuun!!"
'---Like hell I'm gonna stop!' I shouted inwardly, using my actual energy to run away.
Oh, yeah. Did I tell you that I'm currently an orphan in DXD?
No, I didn't? Okay.
Hello, I'm currently an orphan in DXD.
And I'm currently being chased down by a Stray Devil.
"Gotcha!" The Stray Devil roared.

'Shiiit!' I hissed as long claws tore chunks out of my sides, leaving a bloody gash as I tumbled into the forest.
'Shit, shit, shit, shit, I'm bleeding!' I tried to stop the bleeding as I got up.
"End of the line kid, and your life." The Stray Devil snarled.
'I can't go out like this!' I yelled inwardly, grabbing onto a fallen tree branch underneath my body. 'I gotta find a way to fight back, to get away, to survive!'
As the gangly creature neared closer my heartbeat sped up a thousand times, but for some reason it didn't pounce as of yet.
"Kekekekeke! Fresh meat!" It's twisted and sharp face inched near me as its long tongue rolled out of its mouth.
"Finally given up, huh? Well, this is better for me that way-"
'Now!' Not waiting until it was finished speaking, I jabbed the tree branch straight into it's left eye, and used whatever strength I had left to sprint away while holding my bleeding sides.
"Gyaaaaah!" It roared in pain as it continued to chase me. "I was gonna be gentle, but now I'll break you before I kill you!!!"
'Great, more reason not to get caught...' I tried to speed up, but in all my excitement, I forgot one major truth.
This body of mine, was simply that of a child. And while that child seemed quite athletic, it was still that of a ten-year-old kid.

So when the Stray Devil reached me in record time and used its claws to pierce holes all over my body, I really shouldn't be too surprised.
"Aaaaaaaaagggh!" I couldn't help but scream as it futilely tried punching the creature.
I knew it wouldn't do much, not in this kind of world, but I wasn't going to go down without trying.
"Now I've got you!" The Stray Devil snarled as it ignored my small fists, inching closer to me once again. "How about... this!?"
With its claws, it lifted me up face to face with it as it broke into a mocking, sadistic grin.
"Well, you're bleeding out. So what are you gonna do, boy? Kekekeeke!!"
"I don't wanna die, I don't wanna die, I don't wanna die, I don't wanna die..."
Desperate thoughts kept racing into my head as blood loss slowly made me go dizzy.
"What's that, I can't hear youuuu!?" It continued laughing, uncaring of my plight.

As I thought that, something... pink glowed on my wrist.
"Kekekeke! This is the best! Louder, louderrrr!!!"

As it began to glow brightly, odd data entered my brain, rushing through like a waterfall in an enclosed space.

And then, exploded into chunks of flesh and blood.

I sat on the bloody ground as I struggled to calm my breath.
"Damn... What the hell..."
I continued to limp as I made my way out of the forest, relying on past-life information from this kid whose body I was in as I mulled over my new abilities.
My heart was still beating...
Come to think of it, don't I have a gash in my side?
'Shit! I should get this treated! But where's the hospita-' I blanked out for a moment...

Did I sleep properly? No, but I planned to fix that later.
What happened to my family in this world? What happened to my family in the other world?
What do I do now?
Getting involved in the plot of DxD was currently a no-go as I didn't even know the who-what-where-when-and-why of my current existence, so I opted to take it slow.
Besides, I'm not quite sure yet, but using these abilities made me strangely tired and hungry...
As I made my way to the main road of what I assume to be a Japanese Town, and when I found a park bench, I promptly laid down on it.
It was one hell of a first day for a new world that was supposed to be mainly about boobs.
But what about the future? Just what the hell am I supposed to do, huh?
Just as I was thinking so, my stomach started to rumble.

"Man, I'm hungry" I whined. Don't get me wrong, I didn't want to whine, it's just that it comes out like that due to me currently being a kid.
'Wait a minute, I'm still technically a kid.'
In the grand scheme of things, going from a teenager to a kid wasn't that much of a change when it came to maturity.
"Dude, you must be starving!" A youthful voice pierced my ears as I turned around.
"Hey, you shouldn't bother people like that, Issei!"
"But he's hungry, though."
As I turned to face them, I saw two young kids with brown hair, one who looked like your average if not mischievous kid, and another who looked like a boyish-tomboy.
'Huh... A young Issei Hyoudou and Irina Shido...'
At this moment, I was too hungry to give a damn about why I was facing two canon characters from DXD.
All I wanted was some food.
'If I used [Time-Stop] and [Sensitivity Controller], I could get some fish to eat, right?' I thought while looking at the large lake around me.
'Ah, fuck it! What if I used [Time-Stop] to steal food!'
They say that Absolute Power corrupts absolutely...
Well, they were right, cause I was already planning on using my hentai powers to commit theft.
"Hey, where are you going?" The two kids asked.
"To get something to eat." I leapt off the bench as I made my way to fill my stomach.
What a sad precedent for a sad new life for me...
