Shivansh was gasping for air by the end of the process. He had totally forgotten about the pain and it rammed him like a ton heavy truck. In his previous timeline he had the help of painkillers and machines and it still hurt. He was actually surprised that he did not faint.
Mahadev smiled and asked, "How are you feeling now? Good?"
Shivansh looked up and smiled back,
"I had forgotten about the pain, but what to do about all this blood and sweat?"
Mahadev looked an him and with a wave of his hand the blood and all the other fluids disappeared as if never there. His clothes looked fresh as if just out of dry cleaning.
"Well how about trying out your new powers. Get familiar with them once again." Mahadev said.
Shivansh nodded in confirmation. He took a deep breath. He then pressed his right thumb on his upper right canine, the one that was replaced and slashed down. The sharp tooth gave a fine cut and a line of blood appeared on the thumb.
Not wasting any time, he used his thumb to smear the blood on his left hand. He smeared in a quick motion starting from the elbow to the palm on the underside of the arm.
The blood was quickly absorbed by the hand and his wound healed. A slit appeared on his arm and the machine emerged. This time there was no blood spilled and neither was there any pain. It was as it the machine was a body part of him.
"Activate Armor." Shivansh spoke in nostalgia. He had stopped using his suit since the death of Sophie. The suit replied in a human like voice... full of emotions?
"Of course Shivansh, activating armor."
The machine beeped for a second and suddenly a huge amount of liquid gushed out of the machine. It was flashing different colors. The liquid was very weird. It looked tangible but non existent. Visible but invisible at the same time. The material looked like it was phasing out and in to different matter forms.
The liquid formed a thin layer over his skin and was absorbed by his skin. Suddenly a bronze color shone. Shivansh skin that had absorbed the liquid had a thin layer of armor on it. It was not distinguishable from his skin other than that it had a minute gloss to it.
The armor was named Karna's armor. According to Mahabharata, Karna, the first Pandian, the son of Surya dev (The Sun God) was given a impenetrable armor and earrings in the form of his natural skin as a boon.
It was the best armor in the world. Nothing could harm it. The only was to remove it was by slicing the thin skin on the lips and then proceed to remove the skin armor by peeling it off.
According to Mahabharata, Karna was tricked by Indra Dev (King of Gods and God of rain and thunder) to give up his armor. He was forced to do so because Karna had taken a pledge to give alms to anyone who came to his doorsteps or beg for alms. Indra was shocked when his plan succeeded and thus Karna was given the tile of Karna The Kind.
Shivansh was so moved by this story that when the marvel of a armor was created he felt obliged to name it, Karna's armor.
Karna's armor was one of the modes of the suit. The suit was the greatest invention that was solely created by Shivansh itself. The time machine and immortality drink were created with the help of Sophie. The suit of created by a new material that he had created after countless years. He named the material Maya[1].
Maya was like the illusion and magic used by the Asuras[2]. No one could tell when the substance was real or a illusion. Shivansh created and researched on it and finally found a way to control it. A method that only he knew. The material's greatest ability was it's power to shift between states. It had the greatest protecting ability that one could ask for.
Shivansh looked at his body that had a minute shine to it. He was suddenly overcome by a sense of nostalgia. How long had it been since he had activated it...
He then looked at Mahadev who looked at him as if awaiting something. Shivansh smiled then bend his arms and crossed his palms in front of his chest, making sure that the palms faced him.
"Activate ASURA!" Shivansh screamed in a guttural roar. His voice was way louder his time. The adrenaline rush combined with the old memories was boosting him to another levels...
