During the battle, unbeknownst to the elves, the escaped humans from the western walls discussed their next move.
"Orders, sir!" a young human addressed his commanding officer.
"The hollow wall worked perfectly. Now we retreat to our nearest acquired Kingdom [SilverCrest]. Civilians live in this Kingdom and the shops are lively. Plenty of food for us to enjoy."
"All of us? What about the battle?"
"Winning or losing this battle means nothing. They did not send their full force and we need to inform King Charles of the elven rebellion."
"My brother's fighting, you mean for him to just die?"
"The battle isn't lost. But if he dies, he dies an honorable soldier's death. Now let's make haste! On foot, with no breaks, we should arrive in ten hours. We have some rations and some water, and will break every two hours for thirty minutes. We will arrive around midnight, let's go!" the Commander stated, being the only soldier with the luxury of a horse.

Sora and Mina quickly found Jax, who protected Eva with jet streams of water spells shot through his hands.
"Jax! Take my longsword! You can infuse your water magic into the blade. It's a gift from Themis!" Sora shouted as he tossed the perfectly balanced blade to Jax.
With a wide grin, Jax wasted no time infusing the blade with water and sliced through humans much more easily.
Sora thought of his other set of longblades, and one appeared in his left hand.
Mina fired arrow after arrow, using her endless quiver skill and the four of them were finally able to make some headway with the humans.
"Ding! Would you like to infuse your green longblade with your elven wind magic spell, 'Black Winds Howl?'
"Why the hell didn't this ask me sooner? Maybe they needed the use of magic to activate? I know we didn't have long, but I should have done more research."
After selecting yes, Sora noticed his blade illuminate green and as he swung it, he screamed, 'black winds howl' and the sword projected the yellow and black aura of the wind, killing a large group of humans.
Unfortunately, because Sora had not used magic in his blade before, some of the elves died from friendly fire.
"Be careful with that blade!" Jax shouted, as he masterfully crafted different types of water spells with the blade.
"Jax, I have an idea! Climb to the top using that vine wall and use your water spell, cleanse," to cleanse the walls. Maybe the humans placed some type of spray or poison for plants!" Eva shouted.
With Mina protecting him with cover fire, Jax put the blade in his mouth and climbed the vines.
"Cleanse!" Jax shouted and a river of water shot from his hand, washing away all the bodies, broken swords, armor, and the broken catapult.
The spell turned each corner, after washing away the remaining humans on the high ground, and when the water reached the corner tower Mina broke by repelling the boulder, the water drained to the ground.
"Spore sprout!" Jax cast, ran 10 feet, cast it again, and another 10 feet and cast it again.
To the delight of the elven army, the mounds cast foggy spores into the sky, without withering and dying.
"Great call Eva!" Jax said as he slid down the vine.
As Jax went to engage a human with his sword, three humans jumped him, managing to cut his left arm and left leg. Mina quickly put arrows through their heads, but Jax was visibly shaken.

Charging fearlessly on his noble steed Ace, Xavier rampaged the humans, slicing them like a hot knife through butter with his unbreakable blade.
Stefania used her shield wisely, and each time a human attacked, they felt the force of the attack repel them. For the weaker humans, they didn't fall back much, but the stronger humans quickly met their end.
"We need to clear this area and get to Jax and Eva. We can form a triangle with two members each and end this battle. I'm worried about the missing humans. Stefania yelled to her brother.
"Sounds good!"
Xavier sheathed his sword, then raising both hands above his head he yelled, "Fang of Fate!" In a whirlwind of golden light, a ginormous, golden, mythical bow and arrow appeared in the air.
Humans started to flee, heading for the gate or the walls, but they weren't fast enough. The bow shot hundreds of arrows at once and followed the humans like they were moving targets.
"Brother! You'll use all of your energy!" Stefania shouted as she used, 'restore," to prevent him from falling off his horse.
"A necessary sacrifice, look at the gate," Xavier smiled, before surrendering command to Stefania and opening a hole in the ground. He trotted down on Ace, through the hole and down the dirt ramp he created, then quickly closed it. Ace trotted Xavier to his bed, where the family medic was on standby.
"Over did it again my prince?"
"It was necessary. Now please, do your best to revitalize me. I am no longer fit for this battle."

The sun began to set, and to everyone's surprise, the front gate opened.
"The front gate is open! Charge!" Eric screamed and the remaining 1,000 forces charged in through the front gate.
The soldiers charged in, Eric on horseback leading the way, slicing through the humans while stampeding over others to clear a path and break their formation.
Sora noticed Stefania struggling, alone, defending as best she could with the shield.
"You got my back sis?"
"Always."
Sora charged toward Stefania and allowed the humans to shoot arrows at him. When he was nearly 30 feet to Stefania, a human had sliced Blaze's front legs, sending Sora flying through the air.
Stefania quickly rushed over and picked Sora up, threw him on the back of Belladeon and could hear him crying.
They watched as the humans stabbed the horse through the chest, and all life left the horse's eyes.
"Blaze, no! You were such a good horse. You will not die in vain my friend, please be at peace," Sora said while weeping.
Stefania took off on Belladeon.
"I'm so, so sorry about your horse Sora. Let's make sure we win this battle and bury him ok?"
"That sounds nice. Thank you. Stop right here, I'm going to clear a path for you."
Sora jumped off the horse and with his left eye illuminating, he screamed, "BLACK WINDS HOWL," and a giant burst of yellow and black energy came out more quickly than it ever had.
It sliced up nearly 300 humans, and Sora managed to steer it away from the elves.
"That was impressive Sora, we've almost won, let's get to Jax and company and formulate a plan to end this!"
Tears still flowing from his eyes, he nodded and hopped on Belladeon, holding Stefania tightly. Not because he had to, because he wanted to. Her warmth made the pain more bearable.
Stefania rode full speed ahead, using her shield for cover and turned to kiss Sora on the forehead.
"This will be over soon," Stefania said, as the moon now stood in the center of the sky, covering the foggy battlefield in darkness.
