"How much farther, I'm so tired" Xiao Wu said dejectedly while look far ahead with her hand to cover the sun.
"You're not in the position to say that, Xiao Wu" Tang San said as he walked on, carrying Xiao Wu on his back.
Ying Xuan and Liu Yan walked beside them.
"You know, you shouldn't pamper her like this, even if you want to protect her" Liu Yan added as a comment, Tang San, hearing the comment, he couldn't help but sigh while Xiao Wu sticked her tongue out.

Ying Xuan laughed softly at Xiao Wu's attitude.
Ten minutes had passed by and soon, in the distant. They saw a small village, only slightly bigger than soul saint village.
"No way, that's an academy right? Is Grandmaster wrong?" Xiao Wu said, unable to believe that the academy praised by Grandmaster and placed in high regard is in a small village.
"Maybe it's just a test? and the real academy is a big place somewhere hidden behind the village?" Ying Xuan reasoned out. "Maybe..." Tang San replied before continuing to walk towards it.
As they got closer and closer, they saw a long line had already formed. "Seems like it wasn't just us who were told about this academy. Quite popular, it seems" Liu Yan commented, it looks just as dilapidated as it was seen in both manhwa and anime.
"What do you mean you don't accept my son?! and no refunds?!" an angry man yelled at the old man behind the counter.
The old man looked around in his fifties, had grey hair and had skinnier build.
"Our son is a Level 19 soul master, and his first soul ring is a hundred year one. He would be considered a genius everywhere else. So why won't you accept him" the woman beside the young boy explained and pleaded with the old man.
"No, we can simply bring him to another academy, I want my refund!" the boy's dad yelled.
"MuBai, some people are here to cause trouble, deal with it" the old man said impatiently.
Then, from one of the branches of a tree nearby, Dai MuBai jumped down and activated his soul rings, though not yet possessing his martial soul. "If you want a refund, then defeat me first. If you can, full refund it is." he smirked
"Ah... I-uh, nevermind" the man stuttered, a soul elder was not be messed with, especially when he was just a normal civilian that can't use soul power.
The old man stood up and walked from behind to the counter and faced the crowd, "I'll only explain this once. Shrek is a monster, even considered one by its own kin, soul beasts. This academy is called Shrek because we only accept monsters. If you do not even know our requirements for enrollment then you're here wasting your time and money." he said harshly before going back and sitting behind the counter.
"Those who wish to register, come up now" the old man said.
"We want to," Tang San raised his hand and headed to the counter with the others.
They each paid their own sum except Xiao Wu, which Tang San helped pay for.
"Extend your hands out" the old man said before touching their palms
"Checking the bone to see the age, huh. No way to cheat this" Tang San thought,
"You pass, MuBai, bring in." the old man said before attending to another person that wanted to enroll.
A bright light suddenly flashed the old man's face, his eyes widened. "Girl, does your family know you're here?" he asked hurriedly.
"What I do is not something my family has to worry about for now. You did say the assessment was to see whether we're of age and high enough of soul power. Do I pass the assessment?" the girl answered.
She was adorned in a blue dress with a jade pendant on it. Her hair was long and flowing while some parts were braided. Her skin looked tender and soft. It was the type most guys would fawn over.
"Alright, you ca follow them" the old man said, he was too old and too tired to deal with it.
As they made their way inside, Ying Xuan couldn't help but ask. "Dai MuBai, why is Shrek academy located in such a small village?"

Dai MuBai sighed "Shrek academy has held the record of having existed so long but only having so few students. The academy has only accepted 52 students as of right now." he explained.
"What? then how is this academy is still up and running?"
"That's why the academy is located in this village, it was the only way we could have an area designated for training. The academy has been living off the money made from registration" Dai MuBai sorrowfully said.
"Then, how many students are in the academy now?" Xiao Wu asked.
"Including me, three people"

Everyone except Liu Yan gasped.
"Alright let's not talk about this, since you all did well. I think that the second assessment can be skipped."
As they were about to continue walking past and deeper into the village.
"Hey! Why do they get to automatically pass the second and third assessment?!" one of the people registering said while pointing at them. The rest of the boys and girls there noticed and started complaining too.
"Enough. If you are as talented as them, then of course you can skin the second and third assessment" Dai MuBai said before grabbing the crystal ball and handing it to Tang San.
The crystal ball shined.
"Level 29?! at that age?!" the others were silenced immediately.
Tang San passed it to Xiao Wu who then passed it to Ying Xuan.
"Two more level 29s?! What am I compared to them then" one of the boys said, their talent wasn't as high as the ones in front of them.
Ying Xuan was about to hand it to Liu Yan when the blue dress girl took it. It shined brightly though not as bright as the previous three.
"Level 26?! Why are there so many geniuses."
Suddenly, the crystal ball was snatched, a black haired girl dressed in a black shirt and dress stood there. The crystal ball shined again.
"Level 27?!"
Lastly, the black haired girl handed it to Liu Yan. The crystal ball shined.
"L-level 31 Soul Elder?! What is this?! He looks just a few months younger than me yet he had surpassed me by 10 levels?!" another boy complained. They were like normal people compared to the geniuses in front of them.
The blacked haired girl was deep in contemplation upon seeing Liu Yan's cultivation level. The blue dress girl couldn't help but be shocked.
"If I could bring this person into joining Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda clan, it would be extremely beneficial for dad." the blue dress girl thought while eyeing up Liu Yan
