As the ground broke and I fell, I couldn't even see the floor.
"Maybe this is for the best, maybe I should just fall and die"
I thought that to myself. For a brief moment that was what I believed, but then I reminded to myself "what am I even thinking, I swore to myself that I will take revenge on Society who didn't accept me!!"
I then grabbed the sword that the knights gave me, and stuck into the wall, to slow the fall. I managed to slow the fall a little bit.
After a little while I started seeing the floor. Then as I thought that I'm going to make it down safely, my sword broke!
I panicked, I was still about 20 meters above the ground. And to top it all of I was falling head down.
I hit the ground but for some reason I didn't feel any pain and I was fully healed. Then a sudden realization hit me. I was at the safe zone.
Safe zone a place where monsters can't Enter and you fully heal once inside, the only problem is that there is only one in every dungeon and it's located next to the final boss room. Once you enter you can only continue to the boss room and can't exit the dungeon until you defeat the boss or get permission from the boss.
I got up from the ground and looked to my side to see what kind of boss awaited me. What I saw next terrified me! A huge sleeping black dragon!
"N-No way, it's the dragon queen Lilith! The only black dragon in existence! Said to be the right hand man of the voidblade warlord!"
Not only was it a dragon, a legendary existence only a few people saw, it was the dragon queen Lilith!!
"First I need to calm down, and see if there is a way I can defeat it or at least get permission to get out."
I suddenly remembered that in every boss room there is supposed to be a Treasure chest That the boss protects. "Maybe if I find it while she is still asleep and get a new weapon, maybe I can defeat it. Although the chances are still slim I will at least try"
Fortunately I found it pretty quickly while still inside the safe zone, it was right next to the safe zone. If I run quick enough maybe I can open it while the dragon is still asleep!
I walked to the entrance and ran as fast as I could to the chest. I quickly opened it, inside was a sleek, curved katana of obsidian black, pulsing with faint violet veins. Its guard was a five-pointed star, glowing with swirling cosmic colors. The handle was wrapped in black leather with silver threads.
I was amazed I at how beautiful it was.
For some reason it felt nostalgic. As i reached to grab it, I heard a wild roar! I quickly grabbed it before the dragon could see me! I turned around but...
"Wh-what the...? why is the dragon not moving?!? wait, did time stop?!?"
Suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my head!
"Ugh, what is this pain, it feels like my brain is melting!!"
Then I started to remember, I am the voidblade warlord!
"I remember now, those basterds suddenly betrayed me, the other 5 warlords!! It was also right before we almost defeated the demon lord! Well at least I managed to cast a reincarnation spell on my katana the light eater void bringer, and gave it to Lilith right before they sealed me."
Reincarnation spell a magic only the warlords knew about. You cast it on an item, and if your reincarnation touches it, you regin your memories and powers from your past life. The only downside is that you get a (false) low class.
"How many years have already passed? well for now let's fight Lilith and see if she still as strong as before."
I dispelled the time stop magic, that comes while you regain your memories.
"How dare you wake me up from my slumber?!? Wait did you already take light eater void bringer?!? I shall kill you for stealing my master's katana!!"
"Yeah, yeah, just come at me and try already."
She started to charge her fire breath.
"Eat this!!!"
A huge flame came out of her mouth! As It was right in front of me, I sliced faster than the eye could see. I come right through it holding my sword down low!
"You gotta try harder than that if you want to beat me."
"It seems you are quite strong, but don't worry I was holding back."
I ran to her, trying to slash her while still holding back not to kill. She swang her tail at me. I jumped up high and slashed while casting.
"Cosmic vain!!!"
Cosmic vain the first unique abilitiy of light eater void bringer, alows the blade to absorb, light, mana, or even emotions (in this case mana), through the violet veins along it's edge. The more it absorbs, the stronger and faster it's strikes become. Stored energy can be released in a devastating slash called Void Pulse."
The blade starts to glow In a bright blue light.
"Void pulse!!!"
I released all the stored mana, and directed it to the wall next to her, not to harm her. The slash hit the wall and a huge straight cut appeared on the wall!!
"N-No way, only master is supposed to know about the 5 abilities of, light eater void bringer. And m-master is already long dead!! So how is this even possible?!?"
"I used the reincarnation spell on light eater void bringer."
Suddenly Lilith was covered in a bright light, and began to shrink. A beautiful lady with black hair and eyes was standing where Lilith was previously.
"Ohhh, look at you all grown up. I remember when you were just a little kid."
Lilith suddenly started to cry and running straight at me, hugging me.
"I missed you so much master!!"
"Yeah me too."
After a few seconds she realized what she was doing, stopped hugging me and said "so-sorry I didn't mean to!"
"It's okay."
After a few seconds she stopped crying and said "I have a question master. How did you end up here?"
I told her all that have happened to me.
"That's awful, and now you want to take revenge huh?"
"Yeah on the warlords, my family and the people that sent me to this dungeon."
"Okay, I will help you with whatever you wish!"
"Haha yeah, so for now please get us out of this dungeon."
"Sure!"
And so our real adventure starts now!!!
