Chapter 16 - Chapter 16 - Hello Nurses~

Damn there are so many series I want to add including Doujinshi. I've read a fanfic where they added Titfuck Family by obui.

Still, I'm not sure how I'll add it. There is also Taimanin but I'm not sure about it. Soo I'll put it aside for now.

Should I give MC a system or keep it as is? The supernatural part will be Campione but that much much later.

Because after Campione I was considering adding Gate series because Rory is the best girl.

Regardless, I am still focusing on Slice of life before some action.

If yah have any suggestions for the action and stuff. Feel free to tell me.

The gentle clink of chopsticks echoed in the quiet kitchen as Komi Shouko sat at the dining table, slowly eating dinner. The aroma of simmered vegetables and grilled fish filled the air, mingling with the soft hum of the refrigerator and the muffled sounds of the TV in the living room.

Across from her, her mother, Komi Shuuko, observed with quiet curiosity.

Her daughter was eating with a dreamy, far-off look in her eyes. There was a slight pink tint to her cheeks and—perhaps most shockingly—a faint, almost imperceptible smile tugging at the corners of her lips.

Shuuko gently leaned forward, resting her chin on her hand as she watched.

"You seem different today, Shouko," she said in her usual bright and teasing tone.

"Something happen at school?"

Komi blinked, caught in the middle of lifting a piece of fish to her mouth.

She paused.

Then slowly, she set her chopsticks down, her eyes darting to the side. Her mother's words echoed in her head—something happen at school?

A flurry of images passed through her mind.

Shun's soft smile as he encouraged her.

Miku's brave voice sharing something she loved.

The warmth of the clubroom, Sayuki's kind praise.

The way her notebook trembled in her hands—but she still passed it forward.

And Shun, mouthing the words "Amazing work," just for her.

Komi opened her mouth to speak, but no sound came out.

Her fingers clutched the hem of her skirt under the table.

Shuuko tilted her head, amused. "Is it… a boy?"

Komi jolted.

Her mother laughed gently, standing up and walking over. She leaned down and kissed her daughter's cheek.

"You're blushing, sweetheart."

Komi looked down, face now burning red. She quickly grabbed her notebook from the side and scribbled something, then hesitated. She turned the page and tried again. After a few seconds, she pushed the note across the table.

"It's nothing. I… joined a club today."

Shuuko read the note and smiled warmly.

"That's wonderful. I'm proud of you."

Komi looked down at her food again. She still couldn't say it aloud. Couldn't explain this gentle warmth she felt growing inside of her.

Or why a single smile from someone could make her heart flutter like this. But as she took another bite and her mother sat beside her, humming softly,

The next day, during social studies class. Sae Chabashira—stern as ever—stood at the front of the classroom, her sharp gaze sweeping over the students.

"Before you all run off," she said, tapping her fingers against the desk.

"I'm assigning a report for Social Studies. I want it done in pairs. Pick your partners. Topic will be given once you're grouped."

A murmur rippled across the room.

Shun leaned back in his chair casually, already hearing the shuffling of desks and chairs as students turned to whisper to one another.

Just as he was about to glance at Marin or Lilysa, a quiet but deliberate voice spoke beside him.

"Shun… will you be my partner?"

It was Masha.

Her tone was soft, her eyes serious—not quite shy, but certainly reserved. It wasn't a question so much as a quiet declaration.

Shun blinked for a moment before offering a slow, smooth smile. "Of course, Masha."

Masha's expression relaxed slightly—relief hidden behind the usual coolness she carried herself with.

From across the room, a few of the girls threw glances their way. Lilysa gave a tiny pout, while Marin gave an exaggerated wink and thumbs-up. Miku stared at her notebook like it suddenly got very interesting, and Komi peeked over the top of hers before looking away when their eyes met.

Shun chuckled to himself.

As the teacher began calling out topics for each pair, Shun leaned slightly toward Masha.

"Any reason you asked me?" he asked playfully, resting his chin on his hand.

Masha glanced at him out of the corner of her eye. "You're smart. And reliable. I thought it'd be best if I picked you."

Shun raised an eyebrow. "Efficient, huh? No hidden motives?"

"…None I'll admit to."

He laughed softly.

"Alright, partner. Let's make this report unforgettable."

As soon as Masha secured Shun as her partner, a ripple of unspoken reactions passed through the room.

Lilysa's eyes widened slightly. "Eh?! Masha got to him first?" she whispered under her breath, nudging Ako beside her.

Ako, who had just gathered enough courage to ask Shun herself, shrank back into her seat, her fingers fiddling with her pen as a pout formed on her lips. "S-So fast…"

Sumire, seated quietly near the window, felt a familiar pang of hesitation. She admired Shun's charisma from afar but often struggled with initiating interactions.

Observing Masha's assertiveness stirred a mix of admiration and self-reflection within her. She lowered her gaze, her fingers gently tracing the edge of her notebook, contemplating the confidence she wished to embody.

"I was gonna ask him after class…."

Across the room, Komi's pen froze above her notebook. Her gaze slowly drifted toward Shun and Masha, then quickly back down. A small pang of disappointment tugged at her chest, and her lips parted slightly—though no words escaped.

Marin, ever the mood-lifter, leaned over her desk and grinned widely.

"Oi, Masha-chan! Snatching Shun right under everyone's noses, huh? You're not playing fair!"

Masha turned her head, still sitting calmly next to Shun, and stuck out her tongue playfully.

"Should've been quicker, Marin-chan."

Yanagi laughed from the other end. "I swear, every time Shun breathes, another girl gets pulled into his gravity field. At this point, we need a sign-up sheet to avoid casualties."

Shun raised an eyebrow at that, amused.

"You're making me sound like a black hole."

"You are." Miku muttered under her breath, crossing her arms with a slight huff. "A handsome, smug black hole."

Marin leaned forward. "Masha-chan, if he slacks off, I'm stealing him to be my partner next time."

"He won't," Masha said coolly, glancing at Shun with a small smirk. "Right?"

Shun smiled. "Wouldn't dream of it."

Even as the banter died down, a lingering aura of friendly jealousy hung in the air. Shun could feel it. A few girls were quiet—like Komi, who hadn't looked his way since. He made a mental note to check in with her later.

But for now, he turned to Masha, his tone playful.

"Looks like we've stirred the pot."

Masha's expression remained calm, but the gleam in her eye was unmistakable.

"Good. Keeps things interesting."

The classroom buzzed with mixed excitement and dread as the next subject was announced—Physical and Fitness Examination.

Sae Chabashira dismissed the class, and soon enough, they were lined up and guided by their P.E. teacher, Yor Briar, toward the nurse's office.

Yor walked ahead with a cheerful yet slightly awkward smile. Despite her athletic frame and elegant beauty, there was a clumsy softness to her movements, like a powerful lioness that still tripped over her own tail sometimes.

Inside the nurse's office, the temperature seemed to rise a little—perhaps from the sudden shift in atmosphere or maybe… from the sight of the two women waiting for them.

'Aren't they Shizuka Marikawa from Highschool of the Dead and Yuko Sagiri from Triange X? Well things just became complicated.'

Shun thought, looking at the two. Shizuka Marikawa was the first to draw eyes. A towering, curvaceous woman whose lab coat strained against her overwhelming figure. Her hourglass shape was nothing short of absurd, with a tiny waist and hips that could make a sculpture weep.

But it was her chest—massive, impossibly full, and barely restrained by her buttoned coat—that made several boys momentarily forget how to breathe. Her sleepy expression only added to the allure—like a goddess of dreams caught in the wrong profession.

Next to her stood Yuko Sagiri, who carried herself with the calm confidence of an older sister. She had long, silky brown hair that flowed down to her thighs, a soft glow to her amber eyes, and a gentle smile that somehow soothed and flustered at the same time.

Her figure was refined yet generous, with curves that flowed smoothly under her form-fitting nurse uniform. Unlike Shizuka's exaggerated proportions, Yuko's allure came from the perfect balance—ample, elegant, and entirely disarming.

Shun blinked, taking mental notes. Not for any perverse reason, of course—just observation. The world was full of beautiful women, and he had long learned to appreciate without getting caught.

'I heard that Japan's shipment of drugs had been rough when I left. Is it their doing?'

Shun hadn't finished the series and only knew a bit. Though, even if he had finished it doesn't mean what he knows can be used accurately since the world he was in is Mash Up and things aren't always a hundred percent the same.

'Guess I'll investigate it since I wouldn't want матушка (Mother) business getting halted.'

Shun does want them to be part of his ever growing harem but he wouldn't want them messing with Balalaika's business.

It's not like she let those drugs be given to young folks and are only handed in clubs and other establishments that she has control of.

Only a fool would mess with Balalaika who stands on equal footing as the High Table who controls a large portion of the underworld.

As Shun observed them, Yor walked ahead and nearly tripped over a loose step, flailing slightly before Yuko caught her with ease.

"Yor, careful," Yuko said, laughing gently as she helped her straighten up.

"Ahaha, sorry! I guess I'm still not used to the new sneakers…" Yor scratched her cheek, flustered.

Shizuka, leaning slightly against the cabinet, yawned.

"You okay, Yor-chan? I could've caught you… probably…"

Yuko smiled warmly and turned toward the students.

"Welcome, everyone. We'll begin the examination in groups. Don't worry—we're here to help, not to scare you."

"Speak for yourself," Shizuka mumbled sleepily, stretching—an act that made her chest strain further against her uniform. A few of the boys quickly looked away, faces red. Shun remained impassive, but inwardly amused.

As Shun's name was called for the initial check-up, he stepped forward with the same calm demeanor he always had, while several eyes in the room lingered—on him… and on the nurses he was about to interact with.

Yor chuckled and leaned toward Shizuka. "I noticed he's more composed than most adults. I'm quite jealous."

"Mm," Shizuka replied lazily.

"He smells like trouble, though…"

"Or charm," Yuko added with a smile, her eyes briefly meeting Shun's.

"Let's see which it is."

Yor left the room while Shun sat calmly on the examination table, his shirt already off as he waited for the nurse to begin. Yuko Sagiri stood beside him, clipboard in hand, while Shizuka Marikawa fumbled with the stethoscope, clearly still getting used to the routine.

"You'll take his vitals first," Yuko explained, gently guiding Shizuka closer. "Temperature, blood pressure, then chest and heartbeat. Don't be shy."

"R-Right…" Shizuka muttered, cheeks slightly pink as she stepped forward. Her hands trembled slightly as she reached out, accidentally brushing against Shun's chest with more than just her fingers. Her soft curves pressed ever so gently against him as she leaned forward—entirely unintentional, but very much noticeable.

Shun, however, remained perfectly composed, eyes neutral, body relaxed. Not a flinch, not a twitch.

Yuko watched with a hint of curiosity. "You're surprisingly calm, Shun. Most boys would be redder than the walls right now."

Shun turned to her with a faint, amused smile. "I suppose I've got decent self-control."

"Or maybe…" Yuko teased, tapping her pen to her lips, "You're not into women?"

That got a small chuckle from him. "Oh, I'm definitely straight. Very much into women—especially ones like you two."

Yuko blinked, mildly surprised by the boldness. Shizuka nearly dropped the thermometer, a flustered noise escaping her lips.

"Oh?" Yuko raised an eyebrow, lips curling into a smirk. "So smooth. Do you always flirt with your nurses during checkups?"

"Only when they're beautiful," he said, eyes glinting with charm. "And when one of them is going to be my girlfriend someday."

Yuko's pen froze mid-note. "…Excuse me?"

Shun tilted his head slightly, smiling like it was the most natural thing in the world. "You heard me."

Yuko stared at him, unsure whether to laugh or be impressed. Eventually, she settled on the former, her laughter echoing through the room.

"You've got guts, I'll give you that."

Shizuka giggled as well, though her face remained visibly flustered. "He's not like the others…"

"Definitely not," Yuko agreed, shaking her head. "Alright, future boyfriend—let's get your blood pressure next."

Shun gave a mock salute. "Yes, ma'am."
