The sun was rising over the city of Laputa, a vibrant metropolis where magic and technology lived in a fragile balance. The skyscrapers sparkled of golden light while the first hover trams cut the sky like silent arrows. Among the still humid roads of dew, a man walked at a decisive step, with a fluttering black cloak and a kind smile on his lips.
His name was Kael, a hero for many, a mystery for everyone. Despite his superhuman strength, his powers of handling energy and his almost immortal resistance, Kael was known above all for his compassion. He helped anyone who needed it, even if this meant facing monsters, criminals or his own fears.
That morning, Kael perceived something strange. The air vibrated of a malignant energy, a distortion in reality that only those who had the gift of pure vision could warn. Followed by his spiritual families, a fox of shadow called Nyra, he headed for the abandoned neighborhood of Valthor.
There, among the ruins of an ancient laboratory, Kael found the origin of horror: a black portal like the pitch, pulsating as a sick heart. From the portal emerged a shapeless creature, all tentacles and eyes, a living nightmare escaped from a dimension where pain was the only law.
Kael placed himself in front of being without hesitation. His hands illuminated with condensed sunlight, a unique power that only he possessed: the flame of the heart. With a scream of challenge and protection, he attacked, defending a family hidden among the debris. Each blow of Kael was not just strength: it was a message. "It doesn't matter how dark the world is: as long as I will be there, there will be light."
Title: Heart of shadow
After the battle, Kael began to investigate the origin of the portal. He discovered that there was a dark cult behind, the dreamers of the void, who aimed to awaken the ancient terror, a forgotten divinity capable of rewriting reality itself.
As he faced tangible nightmares and went into the meanders of the human and supernatural psyche, Kael had to deal with his past: a stolen childhood, arcane experiments, and the loss of those who loved. But he never launched in his lifestyle: help, protect, inspire.
His journey brought him beyond the boundaries of the city, to living forests, flying islands and lost temples. Each step revealed new latent powers, new alliances and new horrors. And in every battle, Kael remembered himself that true power is not strength, but the courage to use it for good.
End (for now ...)
