Oliver was a shy boy who always got nervous whenever he interacted with girls, which is why he had no girlfriend throughout high school.  

However, all that changed when his parents decided to help boost his confidence so that he wouldn't have any problems interacting with people of the opposite gender in the future.  

But how did they do that?

Oliver's parents came up with a unique idea: they enrolled him in a summer theater workshop. Acting would force him to step out of his comfort zone, express himself, and interact with others—including girls—in a fun, low-pressure environment.
