This world does not work as the normal world. Here, the world does not work on money, it work on Wrath. But wrath is not the only power a human can get. There is one, something else. Something which does not oppose wrath but is totally different. It is called Will. The power Will comes from the aura of a human. Any human, whether it can clear quests or not, whether it got the call from the crimson screen or not, it does not matter. A human is born with aura and that aura is the key to attain Will.
Will provides superhuman strength to a human, boosting all of the stats. The boost depends on the mastery of the will, the more the mastery and improvement, the more the boost.
Will is not well known in the world. Only few have the Will and most of them are the adventurers. But those who are not adventurers, among those there are few who have the Will.
Doesn't matter what stat, even if it is intelligence, Will can boost it.
Lucas was so close to eliminate that girl but he did not expect that someone else will also join their battle.
That someone else was Josè. Josè grabbed his right hand and threw him towards Lucian. Lucian caught Lucas, preventing him from any kind of damage.
Ethan and Josè, both were infront of them. The girl was hiding behind Josè—an alliance with them.
Ethan looked Lucian and asked, "Kid, have we met before? ".
Lucian was silent—terrified expression on his face.
Lucas questioned, " Lucian, do you know this guy? ".
Lucian closed his eyes with the terrifed expression and then talk, " Yes, I have. ".
He further spoke, " Do you remember the day I told you about the hand to hand combat in one of my friend's area? ".
Lucas nodded in acceptance.
He further spoke, " I fought this guy, his name is Ethan. He is a monster. ".
Lucas was shocked because he never thought that someone could beat Lucian in hand to hand combat. Lucian was a genius in hand to hand combat. He had never lost a battle in hand to hand combat. There indeed was a huge age difference but despite that, Lucian had defeated many of Ethan's age.
Josè said, "Listen, boys. She is a part of our alliance. You have two choices. Either let us eliminate you without any pain or fight us and experience pain. ".
Lucian was silent. He was terrified.
Lucas spoke, " We refuse both. We will eliminate you and that girl and her teammate. ".
Josè smiled and charged at Lucas. Lucian was stuck at his place, he had no courage to move. It was not that he got defeated by Ethan. It was that he never actually landed a punch or even touched Ethan in that hand to hand combat.
Josè threw a punch on Lucas and he barely dodged it and grabbed it. Lucas' body started producing purple sparks and then, Josè felt a shock.
He pulled his hand back and took few steps back and said, "You are dangerous, kid. ".
There was a unique bloodlust in his words, in his expression, in his posture. ".
It was midnight. The stars were shining with all their might, so was the moon. The dark clouds in the sky camouflaged and were not visible anymore. The waxing crescent moon itself looked very beautiful. The cold breeze blew through the trees. Every participant could feel that cold breeze.
Spectators were amazed by the youth. They were amazed by the skills of the participants but not all were amazing, few were even so bad that it was a waste of time to look at them even for a second.
There was a family relaxing in their living room and watching the whole quest on their own crimson screen.
An old man spoke from that family, "My grandson is really amazing, isn't he? ".
An old lady spoke, " He is not your grandson alone. He is also my grandson. ".
Two couples spoke, " And he is our son. Ethan will dominate the whole quest. ".
A boy of the same age as Lucian spoke, " Of course. He is my elder brother after all and he also know how to control it, the Will. ".
The girl hiding behind Ethan was happy. She was not going to get eliminated as long as Ethan and Josè were there.
Josè again charged at Lucas and Lucas used his electric dash and came right in front of Josè, his right fist enhanced by the electric sparks and he punched Josè and it striked. But did something happened to him?
Not really, there was no effect. Josè smiled, a smile full of evil and bloodlust. He grabbed the neck of Lucas and pulled him in the air, just like that japanese girl.
He tighten his grip every second and Lucas was struggling.
Hikaru was watching the match. He murmured, "These two kids, they have no chance with their weak Wrath to win against the Will masters. ".
He light up a cigarette and startes smoking. He was thinking about someone.
Here, Lucas was on the verge of getting eliminated and then, Lucian felt a shock. A purple spark touched his body and he felt a very little shock but enough to wake him up.
That purple spark was sent by Lucas.
Lucian came back to his conciousness and looked infront of him, at the miserable condition of Lucas. He could see that Lucas was slowly losing his conciousness, he could see that Lucas was on the verge of elimination.
He had now two options, either to run away and defeat the weak teams or save Lucas.
Lucian will become the strongest adventurer in future, it was decided. But for now, he was only 12 years old. He had the mind of a 12 year old.
What can a 12 year old do in such kind of situation? Bet on his instincts.
Lucian touched the ground with his both hands and the stones nearby startes shining with blue sparks and he manipulated those stones and threw them with great spead on Josè.
Those stones striked Josè and somehow, affected him even though he was using his Will. All those stones striked at a single point of his right hand and he gained a scratch. It was his first time in his life that someone gave him a scratch, he felt pain.
Even though the pain was little, it was his first time feeling one. He let go of Lucas and Lucas used his electric dash to maintain distance while breathing heavily. The ground was stained red with blood at many places. The number of teams currenly in the quest was decreasing slowly. Many were earning points while many were gettinf destroyed but none could tell who was at the top of the leaderboard.
Lucas whispered, "Lucian, we have no chance against them. We have to escape. ".
He was still breathing heavily and was terrified.
Lucian whispered, " I can't use my wrath for longer. My stamina—I am at my limit. ".
Lucas whispered, " So I am. ".
They both were tired. They were just kids. There was no way they could compare their stamina with that of Josè's and Ethan's.
When Lucas was reading the book on electricity, he found that when lightning and electricity comes in contact, a blast occurs and smoke gets created.
He whispered to Lucian, "Hey, can you produce a little bit of your lightning from your left hand. ".
Lucian was standing on left side of Lucas'.
Lucian looked at Lucas and did as he asked.
Lucas produced his purple electric sparks from his right hand and touched the sparks of Lucian's.
The strength of those sparks were too little to produce any kind of blast but it was enough to produce smoke in large amount.
There was smoke all around them. They both used all their stamina to escape from the situation.
Will is a power considered stronger than Wrath and it is kind of true. In the beginning, one can use Will more efficiently than one can use Wrath. At the beginning Will is better but as the mastery increases, at the end Wrath becomes more destructive and powerful than Will.
But Wrath does not boost all the stats, it only boosts it's own particular stats. Whereas Will can boost all the stats to no limits. Wrath also have no limit.
Lucian and Lucas, both did not know even a bit about Will. They also did not know that Josè and Ethan had Will. Will can boost all stats, this means, eyesight also.
Josè and Ethan, both could easily spot Lucian and Lucas inside the smoke. They could see that both of them were running.
Ethan decided to stay behind and hunt other teams where as Josè decided to follow them.
Josè was much faster than Lucian and Lucas and it was obvious that in few seconds, he will easily catch them.
Lucas and Lucian, both could feel the aura of Josè behind them. They could hear his steps, they could feel his bloodlust. There was no chance that they can escape from josè until a miracle arrives.
Miracle is considered a very amazing event. No science and technology can define it. Some believes in miracle while others don't. Some lump it with luck while others don't.
There's a saying in chess, if your opponent is a kid, never let your guard down.
If there's a game/sport which requires high amount of skills and your opponent is a kid at the international level, that kid is dangerous.
Josè streched out his right hand to grab the neck of Lucas but then, suddenly, someone kicked his face and he fell on the ground pretty badly. The kick was so powerful that Josè's left cheek became swollen.
Lucas and Lucian didn't waste their time in looking behind and they just ran.
Josè was furious now, it was the second time in his life someone made him feel pain.
He stood up, his left hand on his cheek, tears in his eyes and he started at the person who kicked him.
The person who kicked him was around the age of Lucas, he was chinese.
He had short black hairs. He was muscular but still, anyone could tell he was around 9-10. His black eyes were sharp. His pale skin had numerous scars.
Josè questioned, " Who are you? ".
The kid answered, "Huang Qi. ".
Huang Qi was a name famous among those who had mastered or were mastering Will.
Josè murmured, " Huang Qi? ".
His expressions showed that he was really shocked. He never expected to meet him in this place.
If he had, then there would have been no doubt that he was going to team up with him.
He said, " Huang Qi. You are the same Huang Qi, who became the youngest to master Will, right? ".
Huang Qi showed no emotions and said, " Yes. ".
Huang Qi was wearing Shaolin Monk Uniform. The uniform was of orange color. The uniform was the proof of that he had also mastered or was mastering the Shaolin Kung Fu.
He was a dangerous opponent for Josè and may be the strongest here.
Lucian and Lucas came quite far away and were hiding behind a big tree, resting and restoring their stamina. They were sitting on the ground, their back leaning against the trunk.
They no longer could use their wrath until they restore specific amount of their stamina.
Lucian opened his crimson screen and gave it a command, "Show quest time limit. ".
The information when he first opened the crimson screen was:

They only passed half an hour yet and their stamina was already gone. They were exhausted.
Lucas had restored his stamina to that specific amount but Lucian was still restoring his stamina.
They both were resting but they were too tired to realise that someone was creeping on them. Slowly, slowly, that someone was coming closer to them.
And suddenly, they heard a voice from behind the tree, "Yo! ".
