Shambhu was seeing all of this with admiration. Daru was showing not only incredible power but also good battle instincts.
Daru had already started his fight against the next opponent who was wielding a trident. The trident wielder tried to stab his guts with his trident which Daru stopped by meeting the trident head with the tip of his hammer. Then Daru swept his hammer towards the feet of the opponent with a spin. The opponent made the mistake of trying to stop the heavy hammer by putting his trident beside his feet. He was unable to generate enough force to stop the hammer and subsequently got swept off of his own feet. Daru used the momentum and smashed his hammer on opponents chest with a large downward swing. The opponent was unable to get up in time and tried to block the attack again by putting his trident above his chest. But this time the trident itself broke with a loud clanking sound.
But that was not the only crack that was heard, the hammer moved with the momentum and landed square on the chest of the lying opponent. His ribs broke because of the impact. Shambhu ,who was watching the match with a serious look on his face , flinched in reaction to this crazy scene. The opponent was out of the fight, vomiting blood from his mouth. He clearly had some internal injuries.
Daru was on a rampage. He kept swinging his hammer and kept breaking bones and weapons alike. At the end of the round Daru was the only guy standing in the middle of the arena 2. He was panting while leaning over his hammer which he has put upside down. The medics and healers were doing their job of healing his opponents.
The round ended with a loud applause and cheers from the crowd again. The cycle repeated again. Some numbers were called and candidates came forward. They fought with courage and valor, but it was not as good. It was not that they were weak or didn't know how to fight. They were as good as an untrained guy should be who has not even started on the path of CHAKRA AWAKENINGS. But the fights of Daru, Purandar and Swarnaa had just set the bar so high that the crowd was just like 'meh let the childs play their game, we are not here for this.'
Next two rounds went without any major fighter coming forward again. In round 7, on the arena 5, again appeared a guy with a big mace in his hands as big as Daru's hammer and he too has got this mace after special request to the arena helpers. He was over 185 cm tall, had reddish white skin, probably due to his excitement of the fight. He had ocean blue eyes and sky blue hair with white shine on them. He was neither too bulky like Daru and neither too lean like Purandar. He was wearing a red cargo pant and black tshirt. His name was Vajra.
He challenged two guys at once and then started swinging his mace without a care. His opponents, unfortunately, didn't have any long weapons and thus they couldn't even close the distance on him. The first guy to lose his consciousness came a little too close in order to close the distance between them and tried to stab his sword directly into Vajra's chest and over extended his right arm.
Vajra swung his mace from left to right and his mace hit the sword at its hilt and opponents hand was hit too due to it. The opponent lost his balance and leaned and moved towards a little right to Vajra. Vajra kept the mace moving and spun clockwise, then with all the momentum he hit the back of the opponent. His opponent could not move even a inch after hit by the mace and collapsed like a cut tree straight to the ground , bleeding from his nose and mouth.
The second opponent was straight ahead, in a straight line to his mace, but was distracted and was shocked to see his partner collapsing in just one hit. Vajra didn't care for his mental state though. He moved his mace straight ahead and hit his solar plexus and lower sternum. The opponent grabbed the mace with both his hands in order to stop Vajra from making another move with the mace but Vajra did nothing else just started pushing him towards the edge of the arena. The opponent used all his force to stop himself from being pushed away from the arena. But all his efforts were in vain and he was pushed out of the arena.
Vajra stood on the edge of the arena, laughing, looking at his fallen opponent with excitement. Meanwhile another candidate in the arena tried to use this chance to eliminate him. He snuk behind him and was going to stab his spear right through him. But he was in bad luck Vajra was not careless but just enjoying the moment. Vajra caught a glimpse of him sneaking behind himself. He immediately moved right and crouched and swung his mace at the opponent's lead leg at the same time. The opponent has already made his move and couldn't stop himself. The mace hit his knee from the side and it broke immediately. The opponent fell to the ground and tried to throw his spear towards Vajra which Vajra deflected without any problem.
Vajra did not make any other move and just stood there laughing. The opponents who were on the opposite side of the arena didn't even try to fight him after seeing that he had not broken a sweat even after taking out three guys and surrendered by stepping outside of the arena.
