2023 passed, 2024 started. Timetables came out. I messaged my friends and everyone. Year 11 was completely new for classes and classmates.
I anticipated timetables, yet didn't want to see it. I was scared to be away from my friends. Some of us picked different classes.
The lovebirds picked the same five main subjects, he also did. I did too. Higher chance right? So we ended up being in 3 classes together.
He was in my maths again. It's always maths.
The year he was giving me his homework answers because I asked him to since he does it quite fast anyway.
On the seating plan, he was next to me. That brought us together, as friends, only as friends.
In 2024, I found someone else.
I was somewhat pressured into it, by him as well.
The someone else was from Westlake, they liked me they said. I used to like them. I didn't love him.
We did go out plenty of times though. We met by debate, and every Wednesday we would chill in New Market before our debates.
My friends were making me feel nervous before every "date", and I spoke out about it as if I was looking forward to it.
I mention them to him almost every day, I wanted to see his reaction to this.
After some time of no response, I stopped. I stopped liking them too, but I kept going, I didn't where this would lead me.
I needed a distraction from him.
