The effect was not as expected—it was better than expected.
Even the Wheel of Heaven and Earth seemed to encourage upon it.
After all not only did it reward Lin Haoran with 100 destinypoints, enough to spin once and obtain at least another F-grade ability, it also presented a new function, With 1000 destiny points, it asked again:
[Do you wish to establish a Destiny Proxy Line?]
Was it worth it?
Of course! Although it seemed like a high price at first glance, Lin Haoran could earn that back in five to six days of treating patients. Without hesitation, he confirmed it with a thought.
[Proxy Line established successfully!]
[Do you wish to view Proxy Host Status?]
Surprised that this feature also allowed him to view another person's status, Lin Haoran mentally replied yes.
A new panel appeared.
[Proxy: Mu Qinglan]
Age: 14
Abilities
Body: Basic Regeneration (F-Grade)
Mind: Empty
Soul: Empty
Status: Malnourished, scarred, excited, pious]
Lin Haoran raised an eyebrow.
"So… he's older than me?"
It was unexpected. But given Mu Qinglan's severely malnourished state, and the fact that Lin Haoran was a martial artist with a peak physique, the difference made sense.
After the ceremony concluded, Lin Haoran began teaching Mu Qinglan how to use the ability.
Surprisingly, the boy grasped it quickly.
Unlike the legendary immortal techniques or even Lin Haoran's own [Invisible Hand of God], [Basic Regeneration] was a complete standalone ability and did not need prior training more refinement. It didn't grow stronger, nor could it weaken. It simply worked.
Even Mu Qinglan could feel the shift—an unfamiliar power dwelling in his body and by gently stimulating that power, the healing ability could be activated with ease.
With everything complete, it was time for the next step.
Lin Haoran instructed the boy to take a bath and change into proper clothing.
He dressed Mu Qinglan in plain white robes, styled like a priest. If he was going to heal others, then he needed to look the part. After all—
Aren't the ones who heal—nuns, priests, saints—all dressed in holy white in games and stories?
Now everything was ready!!
...
Another cold morning blanketed the shrine in a quiet mist.
A rough-looking man climbed the stone path with his arm in a makeshift sling. Blood had dried along his side, and every step he took was labored. Behind him, a small group followed—his family and some curious villagers.
The man and this small group of people had come from another village to seek healing!!
They'd heard the rumors. Healing, miracles, the rebirth of broken bodies at the mountain shrine. Most didn't believe it… but when pain becomes unbearable, hope finds its way in.
Just as they approached the gates of the shrine, the door creaked open
A boy stepped out.
Thin, pale, his figure wrapped in plain white robes far too loose for his frail frame. His hands fidgeted for a brief moment before clasping tightly in front of him. He took a deep breath, then bowed, voice soft but trembling.
"I ...am Mu Qinglan, priest and servant of the Heavenly Shrine," he said, bowing slightly.
There was a moment of silence. A few exchanged glances.
Then Mu Qinglan continued, his eyes darting to the stone floor for a breath before rising to meet theirs.
"From today onward, Master Lin Haoran will not receive visitors unless in cases of dire or extraordinary emergency."
Gasps and murmurs ran through the group.
The wounded man frowned. "Then who's going to heal me? You?"
Mu Qinglan nodded without hesitation. "Yes. By Master's will, I have inherited the divine ability of healing. If you place your trust in me, I shall mend what's broken."
Skepticism burned behind the man's eyes. "You? You don't look like you could even lift a broom.
Mu Qinglan's lips pressed into a thin line. His eyes dropped for a moment—then lifted again, determined. "I understand. You can doubt me. But please… allow me to try."
He raised his hand—shaking ever so slightly—and placed it on the man's shoulder.
For a moment, nothing happened.
Then a soft green light shimmered faintly between his fingers, like dew catching sunlight. The man's breath caught. A few minutes later the pain began to vanish. The swelling receded. He could feel his arm move again, as if nothing had ever been broken.
"It's… healed?" he muttered. "It's actually healed!"
The crowd burst into astonished chatter. Some gasped. Some rubbed their own eyes to make sure they weren't dreaming. And others…
"Tch" An old man chuckled he was villager from the base of mountain. "Even the servants here can perform miracles now. What is this place turning into, a sect of gods?"
A younger girl added with a playful smile, "He's kinda cute for a priest."
Mu Qinglan's cheeks turned red, and he quickly took a step back, bowing low to avoid the gazes. "T-Thank you for your trust…"
Everyone laughed for a moment and as murmurs turned into cheers, his white robes catching the morning light like a divine banner. And inside, Lin Haoran watched from the shadows of the shrine's corridor—expression unreadable.
He didn't smile. But his heart, quietly, was content.

3400 hundred destiny point!! and it was only going to increase more from this point!!
Lin haoran can now squander a bit, and spin out a few abilities, of course Lin haoran had no need of minor F and E grade but even these low level abilities still have their used to Lin haoran.
...
The shrine faded from his senses as Lin Haoran focused inward.
In an instant, space warped—and once again, he found himself standing in the white expanse.
A place of nothingness, save for that towering construct before him
✦ The Wheel of Heaven and Earth ✦
It hovered above the void, a titanic celestial disc—its radius spanning hundreds of meters, yet coiled in itself like an infinite spiral. It turned slowly, emanating an ancient rhythm, as if the stars had been singing this pattern since before time began.
It was no simple circle.
It was a pie chart of power, divided into intricately marked grade sectors, like slices on a divine platter—each representing a different rank of ability.
There were a total of 15 Grade sectors representing the 15-ranks of divine abilities!!
F-Grade:The outermost rim. Pale gray. Plain runes etched crudely, almost hand-sketched. These were mortal-level skills—basic instincts, minor talents, or small unnatural tricks.
E-Grade:A touch deeper. Silvery white. Glyphs glowed dimly like lanterns. These held simple supernatural utility, sometimes weird, sometimes profound.
D-Grade to S-Grade:Closer to the center. Their sectors grew smaller yet denser. The drawings became beautiful—Holy beasts, Divine weapons, symbols, all glowing faintly with power. The lines pulsed with faint qi threads.
SS to SSS:Their sections bent in warped spirals, as if defying geometry. Runes in 3D. Imagery of gods, mountains, planet and stars.
UR to Mythical:These did not appear on the outer surface. They drifted in layered illusions, flickering like mirages across the wheel.
Heaven Overturning to Cosmic Mystery:Located at the nexus, like a hidden chamber within the disc. Ancient creatures and celestial object circled these—dragons, phoenixes, Galaxies, black-holes and Star clusters.
Universe Horror:The center was veiled in absolute darkness, where no symbols were even visible, only a slight feeling—of being seen.
