Celestia raced down the hills as the guards chased her; she was fast, but quickly began to tire, slowing down as time passed. She darted to her right, and the guards gained on her speed. Running on the clouds, her legs pushed her as far as they could go. Her dress flowed with her movements, and her hair danced in the gentle breeze. After running for quite some time, she broke a sweat. When the coast was clear, she dashed and hid behind a statue, taking a moment to catch her breath. With her hand on her chest, she glanced around to see the guards searching for her. To her dismay, there were double the number of guards now.
In a moment of desperation, she threw a nearby water bucket used for mopping as the guards approached the statue slowly. They were getting close when one guard stumbled and fell, landing on his head. "Ouch…" he murmured, barely audible to her. She giggled softly as he resumed searching elsewhere.
Regaining her breath, she sprinted back down the hills of clouds. A nearby guard quickly spotted her and took off after her. "She's here!" the guard exclaimed, giving chase. She hid behind a tree and threw a rock in the opposite direction, luring the guards into the enchanted forest. After successfully deceiving them, she turned to see one last guard remaining. He wasn't so foolish after all.
"Guess you're not so dumb after all," she said slowly backing away.
"Me, dumb?" he chuckled. "Well, I'm not like the rest because…" he continued, oblivious to her slipping away. Engrossed in his story, he didn't notice as she stepped back cautiously.
She slipped away and slid down a hill. "How boring his story was," she thought, rolling her eyes. "It could put a person with insomnia to sleep." She sat down to rest for a while. Until...
