Synopsis
Sofia Blackwood, an orphan, met with a life-threatening accident while attempting to rescue a kitten. The incident left her in a coma, and doctors predicted that not only was her survival unlikely, but even if she were to wake up, her lifespan would be significantly shortened. However, Sofia was not ready to give up. She still had countless dreams left unfulfilled. At that moment, a mechanical voice echoed in her ears: [Ding! Congratulations! You have activated the Counterattack System! To extend your lifespan and gain wealth, you must complete just nine missions!] Without a second thought, Sofia accepted the challenge. World 1: Sofia’s first mission is to uncover the truth behind her sudden marriage to a stranger and make him fall in love with her. Upon seeing the man—with his sculpted eight-pack abs, broad shoulders, and lean waist—Sofia couldn’t help but squeal in delight. "Now, this is an interesting mission," she said, rubbing her hands with anticipation. World 2: Panting heavily, Sofia leaned against a tree, clearly frustrated. "Seriously? I’m a rejected Luna in the middle of her heat? Could the original host’s life be any more tragic?" she cried out. Gritting her teeth, she growled, "Once I find that scumbag who rejected me, I’ll rip him to pieces." World 3: Sofia stared coldly at her supposed husband, whose hand was intertwined with that of a seductive blonde. "System," she asked sharply, "am I allowed to punch this scheming b*tch right now?" [Sofia, please stay calm! Violence isn’t ideal, but if the opportunity arises, throw in a punch from me, too.] Follow the journey of Sophia as she destroy the scums, bring justice and charm men. Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Tabby

"Agh! This f*cking new manager has made my life hell! I wish I could sit on his head and dance! Let him die from my weight!" Sophia muttered with an irritated expression.

Her angry rant continued as she stomped along the pavement.

"So what if I'm an orphan with practically no social life? Don't I have the right to spend my weekends ogling reels of handsome men?!" she grumbled.

Sophia, a woman in her prime twenties, was forced to spend her days chained to an office desk—as if she were destined to marry it.

Passersby gave her strange glances, but she couldn't have cared less.

Let them think she was a crackhead if they wanted. She wasn't about to back down from voicing her thoughts.

"Sometimes, I wish a truck would hit me just so I could transmigrate into some novel where I'd be a rich heiress," she ranted, her voice a mix of sarcasm and longing.

"The cherry on top would be if my ex-boyfriend transmigrated too—as a poor beggar. And his rich, current girlfriend as his poor wife.

Then I'd let that b*tch feel the pain of having her boyfriend snatched and being powerless to stop it."

Yes, her ex-boyfriend, her childhood sweetheart, had cheated on her for a rich heiress, when she needed him the most!

Sure, she'd scammed all his money before walking away, but her heart still ached.

She had once dreamed of living that "from school uniform to wedding dress" fantasy. But life rarely cared about dreams.

Just then, her eyes landed on an orange tabby. It glanced around nervously, as if unsure of its surroundings.

Had its owner abandoned it?

Sophia, stressed, decided to steam off and followed it,

"Little kitty. Little kitty, look here."

She called the cat a few times before the cat looked in her direction.

"Come here." She motioned it.

The cat gave her an amused glance before looking in front, its pupils suddenly dilated due to fear.

Sophia saw the car coming, but it didn't look too close. She thought she had enough time.

"I can totally make it," she whispered to herself and ran onto the road without a second thought.

The orange tabby still stood frozen, eyes wide, its little body trembling in fear.

Sophia rushed forward, her heart beating fast. She reached the cat and scooped it up in her arms just as the car's headlights got brighter.

That's when she realized.

The car was much closer than she thought.

"Crap!" she gasped, trying to step back. But it was too late.

The car's tires screeched loudly, the sound piercing through her ears. The driver slammed the brakes, but the vehicle didn't stop in time.

The impact hit her hard. Sophia felt like the world spun around her. Her body flew backward, the cat still in her arms. Everything happened so fast—one second she was on her feet, and the next, she was crashing onto the road with a loud thud.

Pain exploded through her body. Her head hit the pavement. Her arms burned from the scrape. Her ears rang, and everything started to go blurry.

The cat landed beside her, meowing softly, curled up, clearly scared but alive.

Sophia blinked slowly, her body heavy.

She felt warm blood trickle down her forehead. People were running toward her, shouting things she couldn't quite understand.

Her vision flickered, the world fading to black at the edges.

As her eyes began to close, one last thought echoed in her mind:

"F*ck...it is too painful. I feel like dying. If this is how female lead transmirgates, then I would like to take my words back. My ex still hasn't died! How can I die! God...if I die, kill my ex too!"

And then, darkness.

......

Beep. Beep. Beep.

"She is in a coma and most likely won't be able to make it. Even if she wakes up, her lifespan would be greatly reduced." A man's voice echoed.

Was it the doctor?

Was she in a coma? So she wasn't dead? Who was he talking with?

Sophia didn't know.

She opened her eyes and found herself lying on an ocean blue area.

"Eh? Where am I?" She muttered.

[Congratulations, host! You have proven yourself worthy of binding with the counterattack system!]
