A ten year old boy with red hair heard the message in his head and he started to squirm on his bed as two lifetime worth of memories started to bombard in to his mind. When the final memory flashed through his mind, he sat up on his bed breathing heavily with sweat covering his forehead. His violet eye were darting around the room to find something that would ground him to reality and his eye's fell on a Katana that was placed on top of a table.
Closing his eyes he thought to himself 'I'm living my third life. My first life, I was a man named Eric Creed who had doctorate in ancient languages, specifically Norse language. My second life, I was the Sword King Ryuma, ancestor of Zoro. Now in my third life I'm Ryuma Uzumaki, Prince of Uzu no Kuni, eldest son of it's Clan head and the King.'
"That's a lot to take into." Closing his eyes, he fell back on to his bed and went through his first life memories.
'I think in few decades the village system will be implemented by all the nation's. And after three decades of village system, three villages will attack Uzu no Kuni in fear and greed for our Fūinjutsu. Bur not this time.' A flash determination passed through his violet eyes.
'I'll have to train in Haki, then I have to train hand picked individuals in breathing styles, I will need to find a way to sense the kurozetsu and shirozetsu. I just hope that my perfect mastery over Kenbunshoku Haki will help with that.' Taking a deep breath, he stood up from his bed and went to the room where his family always ate.
Opening the sliding door to the room, he was met with three pair of eyes. When the three occupants saw him, they smiled and the youngest among the three, a toddler tottered over to him in a hurry and hugged his legs and welcomed him with an adorable smile "Ryu-nii!"
Ruffling the red hair of the toddler he spoke "Did you sleep well, Mito?"
Nodding her head up and down in confirmation, she released his legs and raising her arms said "Up!"
"Up it is." Saying so, he bed down and picked up the little girl in his hands. She hugged him and kissed on his cheek and rested her head on his shoulders.
Patting her back, he walked up to the empty seat next to the white haired man and sat down as he greeted the two adults in the room "Mom, dad."
"Ryuma. You feel different. Did something happened?" The white haired man asked with worry in his voice.
Smiling wryly at his father, he replied "I just had a nightmare." Thinking for a moment he shrugged and said with a serious face "I dreamt of the annihilation of our country and clan."
At that the father sat straight and with a steel in his voice he asked "How did it happen?"
"There was three different army, each having thousands of shinobi. They weren't wearing any clan emblems I know tho." He told his father.
"Ashina, you can ask about his nightmare after breakfast." The red headed woman who have been silent since he entered told his father.
Looking at the women, Ashina sad "Isane, these things have to be discussed before he forget everything he saw in his dream."
Raising an eye brow, Isane asked "You think that it will be reality?"
Shaking his head he replied "I hope not. But I don't like to leave the fate of our country men to hope."
"I get it, but after breakfast." Isane said with a sigh and Ashina just nodded in reply.
On the other hand, Ryuma was busy distracting Mito from their conversation by whispering something that made her giggle from time to time. Seeing her son skillfully diverting the attention of her three year old daughter, Isane smiled to herself and thought 'I hope what Ryuma saw in his dream doesn't come to pass.'
"Ryu-nii! Food!" Mito informed Ryuma as she pointed at the breakfast that their mother had prepared for them.
Kissing on top of her head, Ryum picked up the chopsticks started to feed himself and Mito alternatively. Mito happily munched on the rice and fish that her brother fed her without throwing any tantrum.
After finishing their breakfast, Ryuma handed Mito to Isane and both of them left the room to give the father son duo some privacy.
Looking at his son, Ashina said "Describe in full detail if your dream."
Scratching his head, Ryuma told his father what he knew about the annihilation of their clan. Since he didn't see that in the manga he read and the anime he watched, he made up a story that was somewhat believable.
Ashina just kept his eye's closed as Ryuma explained his version of Uzumaki annihilation. When Ryuma ended his story, Ashina opened his eyes and said "So, the people who attacked us in your dreams were from different countries, but they were having an alliance to destroy Uzu no Kuni. And for whatever reason, there were white humanoid creatures coming out of the ground, undetected, and sowed more chaos in the country." Contemplating for a few moments, he asked "Where were we in your dreams."
Sighing, Ryuma replied "I didn't see us in the dream. I didn't even see Mito and mother. I don't know what that means."
Nodding his head, Ashina said "Well then, we should prepare for the inevitable. I'll discuss with the clansman and start fortifying the island."
Nodding his head, Ryuma said "Father, I have a request."
Raising an eye brow, Ashina motioned his son to continue, so Ryuma said "I need your help in creating two new seals. I have the idea but with your expertise I can complete it faster. My only demand is that these two seals will be only known to the two of us, I will share it with our clansman when the time is right."
Rubbing his chin, Ashina nodded his head and said "That's reasonable. The inventor of the seal have the right to share it." Then looking at his son with sparkle in his eyes, Ashina asked "What kind of seals are you going to make?"
Smiling at his father's enthusiasm, Ryuma said "Gravity seal and Teleportation seal."
