Chapter 5 - 5 Discoveries(2)

Leo continued his deep dive into the intricacies of the Hoenn region. His next searched on Hoenn Gym Leaders and challenges.

The information he found was both familiar and different from the anime. The eight Gym Leaders were present, each specializing in a particular Pokémon type. However, the anime's portrayal of Gym battles as often being more about personality and unique challenges seemed to be somewhat simplified. While the Gym Leaders did have distinct personalities and might incorporate specific rules or environmental factors into their battles, the primary focus was on demonstrating a trainer's understanding of type matchups, strategic team building, and battling prowess.

Some Gyms even required trainers to pass preliminary tests or demonstrate a certain level of knowledge before being allowed to challenge the Leader. The battles themselves were described as intense and requiring careful planning and execution. Losing wasn't uncommon, and trainers were expected to learn from their defeats and come back stronger. The idea of winning every Gym battle with relative ease, as often depicted in the anime, seemed far from the reality described online.

leo also searched about schools which were common in the Pokémon world. These schools provided new trainers with a comprehensive education on various aspects of Pokémon training, including Pokémon biology, battling strategies, first aid for Pokémon, ethical treatment, and the history of the Pokémon world. Completing a basic trainer program was often recommended, if not required in some regions, before embarking on a full-fledged journey. This was a significant departure from the anime, where Ash seemed to learn everything through trial and error. The existence of structured education suggested a more organized and professional approach to Pokémon training in the real world.

1)Black: Represented Pokémon with legendary or mythical potential, exceedingly rare and possessing immense natural power.

2)Red: Indicated Pokémon with the potential to reach Champion-level strength, extremely powerful and often sought after by elite trainers.

3)Orange: Signified Pokémon capable of reaching Elite Four-level strength, very strong and highly valued.

4)Blue: Denoted Pokémon with the potential to become elite-level battlers, strong and capable with proper training.

5)Green: Represented Pokémon with the potential to become master-level battlers, possessing good overall potential.

6)Yellow: Indicated Pokémon with ordinary potential, capable companions but less likely to reach the highest echelons of battling.

This system, while not an official scientific measure, was apparently a common way for trainers to assess a Pokémon's long-term prospects. Leo found this fascinating, as it added another layer of complexity to choosing and training Pokémon beyond just their species.

1)Newborn Pokemon: Generally at the lowest end of the power spectrum, often around Level 1-20. Their abilities are limited, and they require significant training to grow stronger.

2)Young Pokemon: After some training and development, Pokémon in their youth might range from Level 20-40, possessing a wider range of moves and abilities. This was the stage where most aspiring trainers focused their efforts.

3)Elite Pokemon: This is the level most pokemon reach within the level of elite pokemon around Level 40-60 ,most pokemon without potential reach this level.

3)Elite Four Level Pokemon: Pokémon owned by members of the Elite Four were typically highly trained and powerful, often ranging from Level 60-80. They possessed exceptional stats, strategic move sets, and often unique abilities.

4)Champion Level Pokemon: The Pokémon of a Champion were considered to be at the pinnacle of battling strength, often reaching Level 80-100. They were incredibly powerful, possessing mastery over their abilities and often forming deep bonds with their trainers.

After champion level most pokemon are considered as legendary pokemon but there was also levels between them which didn't specify .

Beyond just battling, leo also saw various training regimens that trainers employed to help their Pokémon grow. These included specific drills to improve certain stats, targeted training against specific types of Pokémon, and even the use of specialized training equipment. Some articles discussed the benefits of exposing Pokémon to different environments to stimulate their growth and unlock hidden potential. This was a far cry from the anime's often simplistic portrayal of leveling up solely through battles.

The information also touched upon the individual differences between Pokémon. Some species were naturally faster at gaining experience than others. A Pokémon's inherent talent and even its personality could influence its growth rate. Some Pokémon might require more motivation and a stronger bond with their trainer to reach their full potential.
