I woke up early in order to explore the castle and make sure to not get lost in this labyrinth of a castle. Using magic to tidy myself up and fresh up in the bathroom in routine and fast process while familiarising with my new nest.
I glanced at my sleeping roomates and remembered their shock. I sighed in defeat at the great blunder i made, now might as well capitalise on this by showing his abilities completely so that I can access higher levels of education. I skipped my morning routine of muggle math and physics practice to explore the castle. The wrist watch showed that it is 5:00 am and the classes start at 9 according to the timetable. And breakfast...? Ah... At 7 the hall opens. Cool, I'll check each floor. Let's spead out my zone as much as possible laterally while covering a floor in width.
As I descended down the tower to reach the 5th floor I did my planned actions with my zone. Observing a deserted floor I walked about and explored. Realising there is a 6th floor and a 7th floor, I decided to explore the top first.
I decided to create a 3D map of Hogwarts, could sell I thought. But how. Hmm... Let's see, I took out a torch I bought along in case of emergencies. Not being able to produce light yet. I switched it on with the enchanted batteries that could last forever using the surrounding heat energy. I tried playing with the light, using magic ofcourse. Stopping I decided I need a table. I went to a nearby classroom that was unlocked, the arithmacy classroom. Sat down on a corner and started scratching away some equations and calculations and circuits on a piece of parchment with a enchanted muggle pen, by the way the paper was enchanted too. The ink used up could be refilled to be reused when erased using the back of the pen. Taking up a solid 20 minutes of the time, the clock now showed 5:30 am. I started creating the first prototype as he created with circuits while willing magic to move in the way he wanted. After another 30 minutes of solid concentration he was done. The torch, now on, showed a hologram that was interactive the explored part of the castle that kaealn already knew. He could not create a direct brain link to make it based on his experiences but rather uses magic to shape the light according to his perception manually.
I resumed his exploration as I moved through the hallways while using my zone to check the whole floor. I made my way through the floors one by one. 5th, 6th, 7th.
I had to stop at one peculiar spot on the seventh floor. A spot where I could see immensely complicated magical circuit on the wall. It was extremely complicated. To the point that there was no doubt this was the most complicated circuit he had ever seen, not that he had seen a lot but still. I marked this place mentally and moved on. Soon marking all the classrooms, bathrooms, offices and secret passageways, of yes you heard it right, secret passageways were littered all over the place in this castle. Unnervingly short ones that seemed to take a long way, truly magical. The whole place was littered with such passageways, some he did not know how to use, some he did.
Soon the hour hand of my clock reached 7 to which I responded by taking the shortest route possible to the great hall for breakfast using some of the newly discovered passageways. The exploration of the Hogwarts castle could be said to be 20% completed with all the essentials like the classrooms marked. But there were too many mysteries and wonders in this dungeon of a castle, who keeps so many wonders at one place.
But the whole castel is HUGE to say the least. At least 5 airports could fit in the area covered by this monstrosity, i wonder why nobody notices, place is almost probably taller than burj khalifa and so huge. Definitely acceptable, cause it is MAGICAL.
I entered the great hall with many students who started to come in. He saw the little girl at the ravenclaw table, covered by the bushy brown hair absorbed into reading a book while absent-mindedly stuffing a toast into her mouth. I saw my 3 roommates grouped while taking together about a few things with a seriously funny face. I waved at them as my eye was caught by Terry's. They all followed to look at me stiff, and wearily. They scrutinized me and looked away after waving back lightly, they started discussing as if they were planning for WW3. I shrugged and moved to sit down beside the cute girl.
Grabbing my own plate of toasts, I started eating. "Good Morning Hermione" i greeted the girl. "Good morning Kaelan"
"What are you reading so hard about?"
"Just revising the history of magic textbook and preparing for the first double period."
I looked at her and sighed "Did you just say revising? You already finished reading it and learning its contents??" "Wow"
"Uhh... Yeah, I realised I am from the muggle world and the kids from the wizarding world must have had a upper hand so I decided to start early and try to catch up, which I can see was not necessary but still I want to make sure my academics are perfect."
"Great for you Hermione, great for you." I said and went back to eating and took out my mathematics textbook to do some math and soon physics as i skipped it in the morning.
After doing some calculus practice we both went off to our first class. On the way I grabbed the little hand of the little witch into a remote corner and showed her the 3D projection of the map.
"What do you think?" I asked.
"WOW! You made this? I found no such item in any of the shops."
"Yep" I said proudly. "How does it work?" she asked and I started explaining the details which she put confused expression in response. "Well basically, what I found with my experiments is that all energy can be converted to magic and all magic to energy, and the total amount of magic always remains same in this world, which means that anywhere....." I explained as we decided to talk on the way so as to not risk being late to their first class. We took a shortcut i found which she was surprised to see.
"... So I used the magical circuit, which is a special method of guiding magic to interact with the physical world in automated ways to make the air molecules in this much area " indicating the area " to bounce of light of specific wavelength at specific intensity according to the input I give to the torch, which itself is in form of a circuit. I have not yet been able to create a user interface." I ended. She looked at me wide eyed. "That is some serious theories and terms I have never heard before. How?" she asked. But as we reached the class we decided to understand the atmosphere in there before continuing the discussion.
I did not know at the time but I somehow felt at ease sharing everything with Heroine while I always find sharing very dangerous, i shrugged it off then as the fact that I trust her because she was part of the trio. But there was something much deeper at play there.
