When Aiden and Helen stepped outside, they saw the red wall appearing from the edge of the horizon. Aiden hadn't seen it before.
"What's that?" Helen asked.
Aiden squinted his eyes, then followed the red wall's length. However, he couldn't see the end of it due to the height limitation.
Again, Aiden applied the symbiotic beast eye talent to his pet crow. The crow obeyed and flew high into the sky.
From the bird's vision, Aiden could see the range of the red wall. The wall had no end and was connected to each other creating a circle.
Helen saw what Aiden was doing, she was quite curious about what Aiden was trying to do with the crow.
Aiden flew the crow toward the red wall. There, he saw various types of monsters vanish into dust particles right when they touched the mysterious wall.
Aiden's guess was that it was the final boundary of the farthest place from the main test arena, and whether monsters or mages, they would die after passing through the red wall.
However, one thing that was certain was that the red wall was shrinking more and more, the distance it shrank by cm per second, so the longer time passed, the more the wall shrank and left the mages with no choice but to fight.
Aiden regained his vision and consciousness. He saw his crow flying closer again, Aiden smiled as he raised his hand, letting the bird perch.
"What's happening?" Helen asked.
"That wall is the final boundary of the main test arena, any mage who passes through or is passed by the red wall will fail and be sent back to the academy," Aiden explained.
"Passed through? So, you're saying it moves?" asked Helen, Aiden clearing his throat in reply.
Since the location of the old mansion was close to the red wall, Aiden didn't dare to stay long in this place.
He decided to leave the place, Helen following behind.
They went back into the forest, passing through the stream, until their steps stopped as they were already far away from the red wall.
BLAST!
Right in their area, they heard the sound of a fairly large explosion which they assumed came from the fighting squad. Helen, frightened, immediately took cover behind Aiden.
"Are they fighting desperately?" asked Helen, softly.
"I don't know. You cover me while I scout," Aiden ordered, Helen nodding in understanding.

He possessed his crow again and let it fly into the sky. By being in the sky, Aiden could map out the situation at his location, as well as find where the squads were fighting.
To the north, Aiden saw that there were continuous explosions, with various colors —red, green, and blue.
Aiden couldn't use the same method as before, there was a possibility their vigilance had increased and could easily kill Aiden's crows.
Aiden's eyes snapped open, deactivating his talent. His crow flying low near Aiden, the young man immediately told Helen about the location of the two squads fighting.
"They're in the north," Aiden replied.
"What do we do?" asked Helen.
"We'll see what the situation is. If it's favorable enough for us, I'll attack them and take their gold plate!" said Aiden, full of confidence.
Helen really couldn't get enough of Aiden. Sure, Aiden could defeat a team with his unique magical abilities, but that wasn't always the case.
Aiden could potentially get hurt if he got too confident.
But Helen couldn't help it, Aiden was her protector in the artificial dimension, forbidding him to do anything would be wrong.
Aiden strode through the underbrush, Helen following close behind. 10 minutes into their walk, they came to a halt when they saw two squads engaged in a high-level battle.
Of the squad members fighting, one of them Aiden knew. She was Lisa and she was on the losing team —in quantity.
Lisa's squad had two members left, while the enemy squad was still complete. That made Lisa panic and scared, Aiden saw Lisa was really desperate.
'What are you going to do, Lisa?' asked Aiden, curious.
Lisa chanted her wind magic, then charged forward with quick movements. However, the fatigue in her body made her movements slow and easy for the enemy to detect.
"You're slow!" shouted a man from the enemy squad.
Lisa found it difficult to dodge. She was hit by an earth magic attack in the form of a large rock that fell on her stomach.
Lisa bounced into the forest, bruises on her stomach and chest, but she had to keep fighting to have a chance of passing the test.
Aiden couldn't bear to see Lisa get hurt. He walked over to her while carrying Helen, she was good at healing someone injured.
"Wait... what are you doing?" asked Helen, panicking.
Aiden and Helen stood right next to Lisa who still lay injured. She turned her head slowly with faint eyes, as if she was seeing Aiden nearby.
"A... Aiden?" asked Lisa, quietly.
"I'll defeat them. You stay here and recover your body," Aiden explained, holding Lisa's hand.
[Magic Element: Fire Arrow]
[Magic Element: Fire Shield]
Aiden did not hesitate to bring up two magics at once which could potentially drain his MP and make him limp after the magic disappeared.
Still, Aiden wasn't worried as long as he still had one more MP Potion in his inventory.
From Aiden's hand, he summoned the four ice-spiked fire arrows that had always been his signature power. He threw the fire arrows forward, then controlled them with his mind.
The enemy team was shocked to see a mage using fire magic, even though none of the mages in Lisa's team could do fire magic before.
The appearance of the fire arrow was immediately responded to with an earthen shield by the enemy.
They were confident in the strong durability of the earth element, able to withstand the fire arrows.
However, they never knew if the fire arrow was not just one magic, but two combinations of elemental magic. As a result, its power grew and it was no match for the level 1 protective magic.
Cracks appeared in the enemy's earthen wall, surprising them. Within seconds, the earthen wall shattered and ice-spiked fire arrows shot powerfully forward, wounding two enemy mages right in their necks.
The neck was the second vital point after the heart. If the heart was difficult to target, then target the neck, if the neck was difficult, then the last attempt was the head.
Two mages fell unconscious after the flaming arrow pierced their necks from the side. This shocked their friends, even though they had previously been able to survive when fighting Lisa's squad.
"Who killed my squadmates?! Come out now!" snapped the big, burly man, the leader of the enemy squad.
Four fire arrows returned to Aiden's hand. As Aiden stepped out of the forest with his eyes fixed on the enemy squad, they saw that the four flaming arrows had come from Aiden.
"You?! Who the fuck are you? Why are you interfering in my fight?!" he snapped, annoyed.
"You don't need to know who I am, as I've come to help Lisa."
"Hand over your gold plate or my fire arrow will pierce your neck!" threatened Aiden, pointing his fire arrow forward, hovering in a mind-controlled way.
"I won't give it away even if I have to die at your hands!"
"That's your decision! Don't blame me if I act ruthlessly."
