In a forest we can see Lucires dashing and jumping on the tree tops, vanishing among the leaves while throwing ash knives. And on a small clearing, a massive bear covered in thick armor made of earth can be seen running away, and the large gash on its back with blood dripping to the ground and a few knives stuck on its body, made the bear look more bloody and embarrassed as it ran.
Finding the opportunity, Lucires immediately conjures a huge ash spear around four meters in length and without hesitation, he launched it toward the bear.
The bear seeing the spear approaching, quickly used its intrinsic skill [Earth Manipulation], and immediately summoned an earth wall in front of the spear, and just as the spear was about to hit the earth wall.
Something shocking happened, the spear as if controlled by an invisible force quickly swerved passed the wall and continued pursuing the bear. Quickly reacting, the bear tried to dodge but the wound on its body made it slower and then.
*swish* *splatter*
Sounded, as the spear tear through the bears right arm sending it flying through the air, as it fell to the ground with a thud.
*Roar*
The bear let out a piercing scream as its wound bleed, staining its fur red. Lucires not letting the bear recover, quickly went behind the it, while holding a black long sword and covering it in magicules as it glowed purple increasing its sharpness.
In a blink of an eye he swung his sword at the bears neck cutting right through it. Like a knife cutting through paper, and when the bear reacted, all it sees is a headless body standing, and all it can think of before dying is how could it meet such a terrifying human.
Lucires finally relaxed as his unique skill [Ashen Soul] absorb the bears magicules. He clenched his hands feeling that his magicule increased by around 5%, during the fight he didn't use ash magic's corrosion property and rely only on its condensed form to create weapons.
There are many reason for this, mainly because Lucires suppressed his magicule and [Ash Manipulation] inside his body resulting in a limited output, and exceeding this output will break his suppressed state unleashing all his ash magic around him. And the second reason is to create a persona that he had a weapon creation skill, making it harder for people to connect him with the rumored [Ashen Phantom].
Lucires actually received benefit from this limit usage, as fighting made his combat experience as an assassin slowly come back. And his control over his magicules increased tremendously, enabling him to control it even outside his body and even acquiring a basic skill called [Magicule Strengthening].
After taking a quick rest, he collected parts of the bear that look valuable including its meat. Packing things up on the leather bag that he made from the cervillumes hide.
And walking back on the dirt road to continue heading for a town other than Ardenshire, since four days already passed when he started travelling and already ate the cervillumes meat two days ago. Thankfully he met that kind bear today, otherwise he would have to keep eating fruit until he reached his destination, because he could probably guess that people use this road to trade and they would have regularly clean this place up resulting with animals avoiding this area.
With the burden of his shoulder, Lucires finally started to see and enjoy the scenery of this world. Walking under the blue sky appreciating everything he passed by, the trees, the wind ruffling his hair, the flowers in the meadow, and the mountains in the distance, he never felt so free.

As the sun was about to set.
Lucires finally saw it, a town that although not as big as Ardenshire, It's still a town. A stone wall with a height of five meters surround the town. Slowly Lucires made his way to the towns gate.
The guards stationed at the gate seeing nothing wrong with Lucires, let him walk closer before speaking "traveler what is your purpose in Almik town, and although it's just a formality please show your Identification"
Lucires already prepared calmly replied "I'm here to sell the monster I hunted in the wild, and also to rest for the night before continuing my journey to the capital, and also although a bit embarrassing, I kinda lost my Identification"
"Oh, You're an adventurer, here" the guard talk while giving him a silver badge "this is a guest badge, since you will just be staying here for a day you don't actually need an identification, just put it on your chest and guards won't bother you, just remember the badge will turn white tomorrow evening" the guard spoke the last part in a serious tone.
"Thank you" Lucires spoke while receiving the badge, truly grateful for the help as he entered the town, he heard the guards shout to him.
"Also adventurer just walk straight and you will see a conspicuous building, that's the adventurer guild where you can sell the monster parts!"
Lucires slowly entered the town.
