Chapter 25 - Chapter 25:Thunderstorm

Whoosh!

In the sound of tearing through the air, the black tentacles nimbly wrapped around Garon's dragon head.

Their goal had always been very clear: they wanted to drill into Garon's head. Because of this, Garon, who was already quite wary of them, dared even less to let the black tentacles actually touch him.

Nearly half of his attention was focused on dealing with the surprise attacks of the black tentacles.

Time passed bit by bit. Due to the high-intensity battle, keeping himself in a triple-speed state all along, Garon's mind gradually became fatigued, and the time essence stored in his body was less than fifty percent remaining.

Once the time essence obtained from swallowing river water was completely consumed, before he could obtain enough replenishment, it would be difficult for him to maintain the accelerated state.

Purely with the abilities of a juvenile white dragon, he was obviously no match for the two-headed ogre.

Garon silently calculated, planning that after the time essence dropped to about twenty percent, if he didn't have a decisive advantage, he would give up the plan to kill the two-headed ogre and temporarily retreat.

It wasn't that he couldn't kill the two-headed ogre, but he didn't want to get hurt.

If it were a pure, reckless onslaught without regard for defense, the two-headed ogre would have been torn to pieces by Garon long ago.

This fellow's performance was too strange.

The tentacles condensed from black mist felt extremely dangerous, making Garon not have the slightest thought of touching them.

But just a few seconds later, the two-headed ogre's body seemed to be enduring great pain due to some kind of overload. The small head's facial features were all wrinkled together, and its constantly defensive movements suddenly stiffened.

Garon keenly grasped the two-headed ogre's flaw.

He grinned savagely, and his dragon tail swept across the two-headed ogre's legs like a steel whip, knocking its body to the ground.

Before the two-headed ogre could get up, Garon's limbs heavily pressed down, his dragon claws gripping its arms, making it difficult to move.

At the same time, Garon opened his dragon mouth, icy blue cold power gathering within, aiming at close range at the large head of the two-headed ogre that had been preparing the spell.

Boom!

Frost dragon breath surged out like river water.

At the same time, the two-headed ogre struggled violently. The power of a cornered beast shattered the ice layer, and both fell into the icy lake below. The bone-chilling cold water jolted Garon's spirit, but the two-headed ogre was almost frozen stiff.

Its struggle plunged itself into a more dangerous situation.

In the ice lake, Garon's movements were completely unaffected, even slightly faster. Icy blue dragon breath pierced through the lake water, bone-chillingly cold, enveloping the upper half of the two-headed ogre's body.

If Garon hadn't held the two-headed ogre tightly, its body would have been blown away by the surging impact of the dragon breath.

Being subjected to the full power of the dragon breath at close range, the two-headed ogre could no longer resist. Its body, including the black tentacles on its back, was instantly frozen into lifelike ice crystals, and the thickness of the ice crystals continued to increase.

Garon could clearly see that the two-headed ogre hadn't completely died yet. The black mist veins on its body were wriggling frantically, and the black tentacles on its back were also trembling, wanting to shatter the ice crystals and escape as it had done the first time.

But just as a Saint Seiya never suffered the same move twice, Garon continuously exerted all his frost power, not giving this fellow the slightest chance to resist.

The two-headed ogre's aura plummeted like falling off a cliff. Before long, it completely dissipated, and it died completely.

Looking at the finally dead two-headed ogre, Garon let out a long sigh of relief. After regaining his senses, he only felt an icy coldness in his throat and it was extremely dry, as if ice cubes were stuck in his throat.

This was the side effect of using frost dragon breath continuously for a long time regardless of his body's limits.

"I'm still too young. If I grow a bit more, using the Thread of Time Steal would easily kill this guy in an instant."

Garon once again urgently wanted to improve his strength.

This world was really dangerous. He had thought it was just an ordinary two-headed ogre, but it could cast bizarre divine magic and powerful spells. His luck was really bad.

After thinking slightly, Garon carried the two-headed ogre's body and swam up from the ice lake, broke through the lake surface, and stood on the ice layer again.

It would have been better if he hadn't come out. Once he did, the scene in his eyes made Garon's eyes widen.

In the sky about five hundred meters high, a black thundercloud with a diameter of several dozen zhang, over a hundred meters, had appeared at some unknown time. Silver-white lightning crackled and danced wildly within it, and it was still absorbing the elemental energy in the surrounding air, becoming even more menacing.

[Thunderstorm Spell]

"This, it completed the spell before dying?"

"The momentum is indeed astonishing, but without control, it's no longer a threat."

As for the intelligence information Ugga Bonecrusher had provided earlier, Garon no longer considered it at all. Judging from Ugga Bonecrusher's appearance, it was obvious that he himself didn't know that the two-headed ogre was originally this powerful.

And it only knew forked lightning bolts... The two-headed ogre had hidden its strength quite deeply, for some unknown purpose, not even revealing it to its own tribe.

Hmm... maybe it was to guard against traitors like Ugga Bonecrusher, so it held back a lot.

It really was a cautious two-headed ogre.

Garon rubbed his head, soothing his somewhat fatigued mind, while looking at the astonishingly powerful black thundercloud in the sky.

The spell to seal the sky had ended. He shook his dragon wings, and his body instantly floated three feet into the air, but Garon didn't move away immediately. Instead, he watched the lightning snakes dancing wildly in the thundercloud with interest.

He wasn't directly below the black thundercloud. Perhaps the two-headed ogre was too rushed before dying, and the spell was cast very erratically, its position drifting hundreds of meters away.

Soon, the black thundercloud absorbed enough elemental energy, and rolling muffled thunder rumbled within it.

It was like someone drumming in his ears, deafening, and a trace of scorching heat also appeared in the air.

Boom!

A thick and long silver lightning snake fell. Although it was only for a short moment, that moment illuminated the night sky like daytime.

With the fall of the first lightning bolt, this spell officially began. Lightning bolts carrying high temperature and paralyzing power fell one after another, completely dispelling the surrounding darkness, turning the polar night into polar day. Thunder rumbled in the dark clouds, and lightning flashed non-stop at the same time.

It wasn't until eight minutes later that this lightning feast completely ended, and the thick black thundercloud slowly dissipated.

Garon looked at this spell that simulated the might of the heavens, his eyes filled with brilliance, and a trace of yearning gradually rose in his heart.

He only knew the quasi-spell abilities and supernatural abilities he was born with. True magic was still an unknown and profound realm for Garon, and for the unknown, just like his fondness for things that had experienced long ages, Garon's heart had a natural desire for exploration.
