THE DARK WHISPERS BACK
Kaelen's victory over the Crawler Queen means nothing when the walls start bleeding light.
She finds him first—the girl with stolen-sunlight hair and eyes that track his every microexpression. "You feel it too," she says, gloved fingers hovering over the obsidian glyphs. "Like the universe forgot us here."
Then the air shatters.
Chrome armor unfolds from nothingness. A rifle barrel charges with time-erasing fire. When it speaks, the voice comes from everywhere at once:
"PARADOX DETECTED. COMMENCING CLEANSE."
Now they run....Fight.... Bleed..... "L" bio-lightning against Kaelen's mutagenic slime, both barely holding off a predator that shouldn't exist. Every corridor leads deeper into the labyrinth's secrets, every glyph whispers of the Abyssal Cores they carry—and the Temporal Authority's hunger to extinguish them.
"They don't want us dead," "L" pants as they corner the wounded Intruder. "They need us erased."
But the real horror isn't the hunter from tomorrow.
It's what happens when two unstable Cores sync in desperation...
And the labyrinth answers.
