Chapter 33 - Chapter 33: The Voice I Buried, and the Blade That Remembers My Guilt

Even in silence, the past screams.

---

Sakamoto's Age: 6.5

Location: Velduin outskirts

Status: Fractured but focused

Weather: Light snow. Still. Wrong.

---

Opening Line:

They say the dead don't speak.

But when your curse is made from guilt,

every silence becomes a grave with a voice.

---

The Soul Message

It came just before dawn.

A glow above the frost.

A thin thread of mana — blue, silver, almost… warm.

Sakamoto touched it, and the thread became a voice:

> "If you're hearing this, I'm already gone."

It was Aelira.

> "I asked the old priestess to bind this spell the day I knew I wouldn't last."

She laughed, softly.

> "I hope you grew taller.

I hope you became stronger.

But more than that… I hope you still feel things."

Then her voice cracked.

> "You don't have to forgive yourself.

Just don't forget me."

And the thread vanished.

Ravian's Soulbrand Spell

That same morning, Ravian unsealed a scroll he'd been hiding for a year.

He bit his palm. Dripped blood over it.

The scroll ignited with red runes.

> "What's that?" Sakamoto asked.

> "Insurance."

> "For me?"

> "No. For the world if you lose control."

> "And you'd use it?"

Ravian didn't answer.

But his silence said everything.

Niris's Class Revealed

Sakamoto unsheathed her again.

The fracture was spreading.

> "Tell me who you are," he said.

She appeared — not in blade form, but spirit form. Half-solid, half-shadow.

> "Before I was a sword… I was a girl cursed by time."

> "What class?"

> "Chrono-Soulbound. Bound to the one soul that broke me the most."

> "Me?"

> "You… as Aevum."

> "What did I do?"

She shook her head.

> "You'll remember. That's the real curse."

---

Eira's Vision

In a dream, Eira sees a castle made of light — burning.

Inside it stands Sakamoto.

He doesn't speak.

He just walks toward her…

And disappears.

She wakes with a tear sliding down her cheek.

> "I've never met you," she says aloud.

"So why does it feel like… you were my first goodbye?"

---

Veyrion Strikes

A town two days west of Velduin goes silent.

No smoke. No screams.

Just silence.

When scouts arrive, they find no bodies.

Only a symbol etched into the stone in blood:

> "One by one, the fires will be extinguished."
