Chapter 14 - Chapter 12: Ayamani's scheme; part 2

And while they were walking together, Ayamani threw a rock at Nia'le; that's why he complained at Tassa, and said, "Tassa, your stupid friend, was throwing a small rock at me." But then, Ayamani threw another rock at him, but this time it was kinda big. "Tassa your stupid friend, was throwing a rock at me again. And this time it's not a SMALL rock!" Complained Nia'le. But Ayamani was still not finish throwing a rock, and he threw another one. "Tassa your stupid friend, was throwing a bigger rock on me again, are you freaking listening to me?" He exclaimed.

As Tassa's frustration reached its peak, she furrowed her brows and clenched her fists, her annoyance evident in her body language. The sun cast long shadows on the ground, mirroring the tension that hung in the air.

"Will you both stop it?" Tassa exclaimed, her voice tinged with exasperation. She stood tall, her hands firmly planted on her hips, radiating a mix of anger and disappointment. "My man, you two are so irritating, I can't believe you guys!"

Nia'le opened his mouth to respond, but Tassa swiftly cut him off with a sharp gesture. "Nia'le, stop talking," she commanded, her voice laced with authority. She then turned her gaze towards Ayamani, her eyes narrowing with intensity. "And you, Ayamani, stop throwing a small, big, or even medium rock at him!"

But Ayamani didn't listen to her, and threw a humongous rock at Nia'le, and that made the ground shook. And because of that Nia'le couldn't stand or talk. Tassa felt the shake on the ground after she heard a loud sound of a very huge rock that sounds like it had fell on ground from a very far away. And that's when she remembered Nia'le and Ayamani who kept on fighting each other, that's why she was so worried about Nia'le. She called his name three times but Nia'le didn't answer, not knowing that he's unconsciously lying on the ground, and was drenched by his own blood. And because of that, Tassa started to got more worried about him, and was about to call Ayamani, but was so shocked when she suddenly saw Nia'le, in the Infinite Night.

"How did you get here?" Tassa asked, her eyes narrowing as she tried to make sense of the supernatural occurrence. The Infinite Night was a mysterious realm accessible only to certain entities, and humans were not supposed to be able to enter unless the human is dead.

As Tassa gasped, her hand instinctively covering her mouth, she approached Nia'le with a mix of disbelief and concern. "Wait, are you... don't tell me you're... dead? But how?" Nia'le, with a nonchalant eye roll, began to explain, blaming Tassa's "stupid friend" for his predicament. Yet, his words faded as Tassa locked eyes with him, her gaze capturing his attention and rendering him speechless.

Unable to resist the allure of her beautiful green eyes, Nia'le found himself lost in the moment. Tassa, realizing her mistake, embraced him with tears in her eyes, apologizing for not heeding his words. In that vulnerable moment, Nia'le held her, acknowledging the significance of her gaze, grateful to be seen even in the midst of his unusual circumstance.

Enter Ayamani, a figure weary of Nia'le's persistent attempts to win Tassa's heart. He gently pushed her away, creating a moment of detachment before Ayamani coldly greeted him, "Glad to see you." However, Nia'le, harboring resentment from past confrontations, offered no reciprocation. Ayamani, seemingly indifferent, turned his back on Nia'le, ignoring his presence.

The lingering animosity escalated when Tassa, caught in the crossfire, scolded both of them. Frustrated, she urged them to cease their bickering, cautioning against words that could further fuel the flames. Ayamani retorted, "I didn't say anything," prompting Nia'le to retaliate with a punch to his guts, invoking the name of Pontius Pilate in a sarcastic reference to washing hands.

Undeterred, Ayamani rolled his eyes and dismissed Nia'le, setting the stage for Tassa to intervene. Frustrated by the ongoing conflict, she implored Ayamani to bring Nia'le back to life, foreseeing a never-ending cycle of strife between the two. Ayamani reluctantly agreed, acknowledging the necessity of a conversation with Nia'le.

In the face of Tassa's exasperation, Ayamani grudgingly conceded, "I hate to see his face in both dimensions, but I really need to talk to him. This is my only option." As Tassa questioned the purpose of Ayamani's intended conversation with Nia'le, Ayamani cryptically replied, "I just wanted to tell him something." Nia'le, unyielding, urged him to speak his mind. The volatile atmosphere escalated as Ayamani, bristling with anger, snapped at Nia'le, threatening to reignite their feud. In a desperate attempt to quell the brewing storm, Tassa intervened, forcefully bumping their heads together and commanding them to cease their quarrel.

With a simmering animosity lingering between them, Ayamani fixed Nia'le with a piercing stare and revealed his request. "Go to the shore, find a big rock. Behind it, there's a girl. Bring her home with you two." Nia'le, unmoved, demanded an apology or a plea for forgiveness for the past transgression involving a thrown rock. Ayamani, clenching his hands in frustration, faced an unprecedented level of annoyance but chose silence over further confrontation. Despite the lingering tension, Ayamani, driven by a sense of duty, and bring his soul back to his body.

As Nia'le grumbled under his breath, resenting Ayamani's power over life and death, he stumbled upon a massive rock near the shoreline. Intrigued, he approached it cautiously, only to discover an unconscious girl lying beside it. Acting on Ayamani's instructions, Nia'le carefully carried her back to Tassa, placing her gently on the imposing rock. However, as Tassa reached out to touch the girl, a sudden wave of dizziness overcame her, causing her to lose consciousness. Startled, Nia'le swiftly caught Tassa before she could collapse to the ground. Yet, in a strange twist of fate, he too succumbed to unconsciousness the moment he made contact with her.

Ayamani, witnessing the unfolding events, swiftly reacted. He caught Tassa in his arms, ensuring her safety, while Nia'le's body slumped to the ground. The touch of the mysterious girl had rendered both Tassa and Nia'le unconscious, plunging them into an unknown realm, a different world or dimension altogether.

As they gradually regained consciousness, Tassa and Nia'le found themselves disoriented, surrounded by unfamiliar landscapes and a sense of otherworldly presence. The encounter with the girl had transported them to a realm beyond their comprehension.

In the unfamiliar surroundings of the "Wring Righ," Nia'le voiced the question that lingered in everyone's mind, "Where are we?"

Tassa, surveying the surreal landscape, replied, "It looks like the 'Infinite Night,' but it's not."

Ayamani, ever enigmatic, interjected, "This is a 'Wring Righ.'"

Tassa, intrigued yet puzzled, sought clarification, "Wring Righ? What is that?"

Nia'le, in his characteristic skepticism, quipped, "The word he obviously invented."

Ayamani, not one to tolerate mockery, swiftly delivered a playful hit to Nia'le's head before proceeding with an explanation. "This is where the girl's soul resides. A demon took her soul and imprisoned it here. If you don't act quickly and retrieve her soul, she will face dire consequences."

Nia'le, with a furrowed brow, questioned the bizarre circumstances, "A demon? How can a demon take her soul? What did she do?"

Ayamani, maintaining an air of mysterious wisdom, responded, "The demon trapped her soul here, likely as a result of a deal she made. I can't comprehend why the demon chose this dimension, but our task is clear – we must rescue her soul from this ethereal prison."

Tassa sought further clarity, questioning the nature of the dimension they found themselves in. "But Ayamani, this place, is it similar to the 'Infinite Night'?"

Ayamani, with a reassuring tone, dismissed the comparison, "No, my dear. The 'Wring Righ' is unique. Everything you can imagine manifests within its boundaries. For instance, try thinking of anything. In an attempt to test Ayamani's claim about the Wring Righ, Nia'le, skeptical of the mystical dimension, decided to imagine a "Protection." To his surprise, the envisioned protective charm materialized in the air, prompting him to swiftly grab it and stow it away in his pocket. Ayamani, displeased with Nia'le's display of newfound power, glared at him.

Nia'le, realizing the potential misunderstanding, quickly explained, "I didn't mean it. You didn't give me a precaution."

Tassa, unamused, retorted, "What was that? A candy wrapper?"

Nia'le responded with a playful smile, "Could be, it depends on its flavor." Ayamani, not amused by the banter, delivered another hit to Nia'le's head, urging them to focus on the urgent task at hand.

As Ayamani emphasized the time constraint in the Wring Righ – where one minute equated to a week – Nia'le reminded them to maintain their vitality. "Keep our bodies lively, like you did before, right Tass?"

Ayamani agreed but issued a warning about the potential consequences of lingering in this dimension. He expressed concern that Ixartxist with a connection to Tassa, might discover their presence if they stayed too long.

Ayamani elaborated on the peculiar nature of the Infinite Night, where Tassa's prolonged stay wouldn't raise suspicions due to Ixartxist's familiarity with that realm. However, in another dimension like the Wring Righ, Ixartxist could detect Tassa's displacement by sensing changes in her body weight. The weight of a human becomes heavier with the soul and lighter when separated from the body. Ayamani emphasized the urgency of their mission, stating that he wouldn't allow Ixartxist to take Tassa back.

Nia'le, in his characteristic wit, questioned Ayamani's resolve, pointing out, "But aren't you dead?" This prompted a moment of gloom as Tassa sought answers about Ixartxist's true motives and identity. Ayamani, however, remained tight-lipped, apologizing for his silence and stating that he couldn't reveal anything about Ixartxist's true nature. But Tassa still expressed her gratitude for Ayamani's guidance. He smiled back at her, and he bid them farewell and wished them success in their mission. However, Nia'le, not ready to let Ayamani go, grabbed onto his rugged clothes, questioning his departure. Ayamani removed Nia'le's hand, explaining that he needed to ensure their bodies remained lively, or else they would face certain death – a fate that Ayamani seemed oddly eager for.

Before parting ways, Ayamani swiftly snatched the protection charm from Nia'le's pocket, expressing his distrust in Nia'le's intentions. He declared that he couldn't allow someone like Nia'le to possess such an item in a place as unpredictable as the Wring Righ. In a blink of an eye, Ayamani destroyed the charm, reducing it to ash and dispersing it into the air. Nia'le, unimpressed, rolled his eyes and crossed his arms, assuring Ayamani that he had no intention of using it anyway.

As Ayamani turned his back, Nia'le muttered under his breath, "I don't like rough fights." In response, Ayamani, seemingly irritated by Nia'le's comment, allowed the ground to swallow him up, leaving Tassa and Nia'le behind.

As Tassa and Nia'le continued their journey, Tassa couldn't help but notice Nia'le's gaze fixed upon her. She questioned him about it, curious as to why he was staring. Nia'le, feeling caught off guard, quickly walked away and denied any such intention.

However, Tassa persisted, convinced that she had indeed seen him looking at her. She asserted, "I know what I saw, and I saw you looking at me."

Nia'le, feeling a bit flustered, responded, "I did not. Well, this is an imaginary world. You're probably just imagining things." As Tassa persisted in her observation of Nia'le's gaze, he began to feel uncomfortable and defensively denied any intentional staring. Tassa, undeterred, questioned the reason behind his supposed gaze, teasingly mentioning the possibility of him considering her a goddess before cutting herself off. Nia'le, seemingly flustered, walked away, leaving Tassa to comment, "What a weirdo," as she watched him depart.

Meanwhile, the object of their quest, the girl they sought to rescue, remained sealed by a demon. Unconscious and bound by a massive chained seal, she lay vulnerable to the whims of dark forces. Ayamani, taking charge, transported all their physical bodies back to the mansion, expressing regret to Quart, whose significance remained a mystery. Ayamani apologized cryptically, preserving their bodies to ensure they would remain alive when they returned from their perilous journey in the enigmatic Wring Righ.

As Nia'le and Tassa continued their stroll, they found themselves immersed in a world of imagination, conjuring up everything they desired – from food and clothing to crowns and wealth. Miraculously, their wishes materialized right before their eyes. In a moment of recollection, Nia'le thought of dandelions and imagined a vast field of them for Tassa. To her surprise, the field appeared instantly.

"This is a field of dandelions, Tassa," Nia'le exclaimed. Tassa, intrigued, picked one and made a wish for her freedom as she blew the delicate seeds into the air. Nia'le, seizing the whimsical atmosphere, invited her to dance. However, Tassa, focused on their mission to rescue the girl, declined, emphasizing the need to hurry.

Undeterred, Nia'le flashed a charming smile, took her hand, and insisted, "It's just a minute. Besides, you won't feel any hassle, trust me."

In a burst of imagination, Nia'le envisioned Quart transformed into a vision of elegance. Her attire changed to a beautiful modest dress, her hair tied up like a princess with a blue flower adorning her head. The royal blue dress matched her glittery and shiny 4-inch heels, creating a stunning ensemble that perfectly suited her newfound radiance.

Tassa, reciprocating the playful fantasy, smiled at Nia'le and imagined him in a sharp black tuxedo. Nia'le, adding a touch of romance, conjured up a bouquet of red-scented 18 roses. He bowed gracefully, presenting the roses and inviting her to dance. Despite the enchanting scene, Tassa, maintaining her focus on their mission, smiled at him and continued to walk away.

Undeterred, Nia'le gently took her hand, offering a warm greeting. "That Grim head may not know, but I do. Tassa, happy late 18th birthday. Come on, let's celebrate it together, my debutant girl."

"Actually Ayamani did greet me, but it's not him whom I—?" Tassa's voice trailed off, her thoughts momentarily interrupted by Nia'le's insistence. "Shh! Forget about Xart, for a sec, okay? Now, do you wanna dance, milady?" Quart's smile returned as she looked at Nia'le, memories of dancing with Xart flooding her mind. Holding her dress, she hesitated before confessing, "No, actually, you remind me of him."

Undeterred by her admission, Nia'le and Tassa gracefully danced through the air, accompanied by the swirling dandelions that shimmered like tiny starlights. As the delicate seeds floated around them, Tassa closed her eyes, a quiet wish escaping her lips, "Hope it won't end." With her eyes still closed, she felt a warmth emanating from Nia'le's presence, reminiscent of Ixartxist's smile. When she opened her eyes, she found Nia'le looking at her with a gentle and familiar smile. In that moment, Tassa's heart softened, and she sweetly smiled back at him.

Their dance continued, their movements harmonizing with the enchanting surroundings, as they made their way towards the location where the sealed girl awaited. The dandelions, like celestial companions, illuminated their path with their delicate glow, creating a captivating chapter in their adventure. In this blend of magic and purpose, Nia'le and Quart wove together a tale of whimsy and determination in the mystical realm of Wring Righ.
