Chapter 14 - CHAPTER THIRTEEN

Four days have passed since they laid their grandmother to her final resting place. Their normal life has returned, and Tashia can now focus on her studies.

What she couldn't understand was why her grandmother still appeared and made her presence felt in her dreams. For several days now, she had been coming back and showing herself to her, sometimes staring into the void with a sad expression.

Sometimes it only says one word.

Help. Tashia thought to himself. She couldn't understand that the woman who had caused her sorrow was gone, and she couldn't focus at all because she saw Ashley again, crying with a bloodied face.

She was just scratching his neck. Back when they were kids, they really had the ability to see events that people in today's world wouldn't believe. Tashia knew she inherited this from her grandmother Felicia, and she also knew that Vivianne had the ability too.

She was staring at her work. She is now a 3rd-year college student and is taking up BS Architecture. She needs to focus on her studies because she is now in her major and cannot afford to fail any subject. However, her abilities are currently troubling her.

Grandma, whatever you want to convey, please tell me. She prayed in her mind.

She just sighed, alone in the room, because her older sister was also working.

I'll finish this later; I need to take a nap first. Tashia just thought to herself.

The night was getting deeper; she turned off the light, and only the lampshade remained as her source of light. She was already in her pajamas, so she just lay down on her bed.

Tashia's eyes didn't deceive her because she fell asleep. She woke up again, but she was not in the room.

Am I traveling again? Question in her mind. She has long avoided traveling because she cannot accept the events she sees when she travels.

Even though she wanted to wake up, it was too late. Tashia scanned her surroundings and saw someone in white walking in the darkness.

She turned to look at her. She met its gaze.

Grandma Felicia. She calls her here.

It did not answer and continued walking in the darkness. After a while, two people, a man and a woman, suddenly appeared beside her grandma, watching her. The two people accompanying her stopped.

Help us. It saw its gloomy gaze.

Tashia just swallowed her saliva.

In what way can I help you? Grandma, please don't scare me like this; I'm not used to talking to spirits. She couldn't help but say it because the hair on her body was standing up.

Help, there's no time left, Tash; help us.

Tashia was suddenly taken to a place beyond the reach of light, where she saw the three souls she had seen. It was bound in something she couldn't see and shackled in something she couldn't see.

W—What's happening? Why are you there? She just asks the three of them.

Help us escape from here. A woman said.

Confused, her mind was in a jumble about what she would do and how she would free them.

W--- Wait, who locked you up? Why were you imprisoned? Tashia kept asking them one after another.

There's no time left! Let us go! A man accompanying her grandmother shouted at her.

My, my, you invited her here, then you shouted at her, and you don't even know how to take care of your guest.

Tashia heard footsteps approaching their direction, so they fell silent. Someone tapped her on the arm, so she turned around.

She was surprised by what she saw.

He was the one --- she gasped, because she had seen her before with Sheila. The woman smiled at her.

This is also what Sister Vivianne told me. She swallowed and couldn't speak.

Dear, you need to leave this place; your soul's life does not belong here. She only heard her scolding her.

B --- But they are in jail. Tashia mentioned that her voice is being sought.

I locked them up there. The person she was talking to admitted it.

W --- Why? What have they done to you? Tashia asked here, still confused about the situation.

Felicia, you're involving a child who doesn't know what's happening; you're really doing everything. Do you want that child to get hurt? The woman asked her grandmother, who was looking at the three seriously.

Why? What did Grandma do to you? She asked him here.

Leah just sighed at her.

You need to go back; you're not the guest I'm waiting for. She smiled at her.

Visitor? Tashia wondered in her mind.

She was gently pushed by the woman in mourning, and before she could regain her composure, the woman whispered something to her.

Take care of the child you see in your dreams.

She suddenly woke up from her dream, her heart pounding with anxiety. She suddenly felt thirsty, so she got up and went to the kitchen. She saw his sibling eating now.

Vivianne just got back from work.

"Tashia, are you okay?" her sister suddenly asked.

Tashia didn't answer immediately; she stared at the glass she was holding now. So, she just nodded at her sister's question.

"I didn't wake you up earlier so you could rest." Vivianne explains while eating.

She only sat down at the table where her older sister eats. She still couldn't fully comprehend that she was traveling again.

Who is she? Tashia wondered in her mind. Why did she imprison them, Grandma?

Which guest is she waiting for, and which child? Tashia kept asking one question after another.

Child? She asked back then.

Her whole body went cold when Tashia realized something.

Did she mean Ashley? She just wondered in her mind back then.

"Hey, Tashia. What's happening to you? Vivianne shook her then, because she is not in her right mind now.

Even though she tries to ignore her thoughts, Ashley keeps coming back in her mind.

"Sister, I have something to tell you." She stared intently at Vivianne.

Vivianne was surprised by her behavior, quietly waiting for her to speak now.

"I'm going on a trip again," she confesses.

After saying this, her sister frowned.

"Are you having visions now?" Vivianne asked her.

"I don't know what vision you're referring to now, sis." She said, still confused.

"Do you also see Ashley? Wearing a hospital gown, crying in the void? Vivianne asked her.

There, she felt as if she were doused with cold ice all over her body, staring at her sister to see if she was hearing correctly.

"That's what I see too, Tashia, but I don't know how to tell that woman." Vivianne just sighed.

Sharlene is the one being referred to, and she is also confused about what to explain to her. She just sighed.

"I want Ashley to be safe because sometimes my instincts and what I see are never wrong, Tashia." Her sister's face became serious as she stared at her.
