Getting to school David sent a message to Jerry to leave a seat for him and rushed to the lecture theater.
When he got to the theater, he could see Jerry sitting at one of the back rows then he moved towards him and sat down next to him.
"Hey bro what's up?" David said while extending a hand to him but Jerry only caught it without saying a word.
David raised an eyebrow at his unexpected behavior and decided to ask of it after the lecture.
The lecturer continued with his lecture which lasted for two hours with neither of the two friends saying a word to the other.
After the lecture ended Jerry still stood there for a minute and only came to himself after David shaked him up but he still looked like his soul had been drawn out leaving only an empty shell as he started packing his bag and stood up to leave.
David hurriedly packed up and followed after him wondering what was wrong with the normally vibrant and optimistic boy.
"Hey bro what's going on? What's wrong?"
Jerry turned back and looked at David with a deadpan look in his eyes and said "David, Jessica broke up with me"

"So is that what this fuss is all about? You behaving like your soul has been drawn out by the grim reaper"
Listening to David's words his face suddenly changed and he glared daggers at David.
"What? You have a problem with that? Aside from the fact that she actually left me after everything we've been through she actually called me a poor beggar and left me for my boss."
"My boss David, I'm the one who introduced her to him and they actually hit it off behind my back!!"
"Worst of all I got fired, now I don't have a job how am I going to survive?"
David listened to his friend's rant with his mouth twitching several times.
"So be honest, are you sad because Jessica broke up with you or because you lost your job and you're no longer able to live a lavish life anymore?"
"Of course it's because Jessica duped me, how could she hook up with a person I personally introduced her to then call me a poor beggar?"
"It's infuriating man"
Listening to his ranting up to this point a wicked idea surfaced up his mind.
"If you're so angry at them then if your boss suddenly goes bankrupt how would you feel"
Jerry looked at him like looking at an alien then said
"Do you know what you're talking about? That's the young C.E.O of Stellar spoon. He's also the grandson of the senator of Lagos one of the main states in the country and you're saying it will go bankrupt?"
"Nah I'm just saying what if it actually goes bankrupt?"
Looking into David's eye, Jerry thought and said "Now that you talk about it, if he actually goes bankrupt and has to run back to his papa to turn a new leaf. Then I would definitely be there to view the scenery and check out the expression on Daniel and Jessica's face"
"Oh really? Remember your words though when the time comes"
"What do you mean by that?"
"Nothing I just have a feeling something's going to happen soon so you should just calm down okay"
"There's no need to worry bro, I'll just go look for another job that's all, life goes on"
"As for Jessica?"
"She's broken there's no need to worry about her"
"Why do you say so?"
"Of course, she's already broken or do you think Daniel's just going to date her for a while and leave her alone?"
"And besides do you think he's interested in dating her for a long term? Of course not, so I'm not that interested in it"
"So, in short you're just angry you were fired to appease your CEO's ego right?"
Nodding his head furiously, Jerry waved his hand in the air and clenched his fists.
"Exactly, why should I be fired when he's the one collecting something from me, he's not much older than me either perhaps just around twenty yet he has his own business with high popularity and a good salary for its workers all just because he was born a noveu rich"
"It's infuriating honestly!"
Patting him on the back, David consoled him "Everyone in the world can't have the same privilege bro, we're all born different and into different situations.
"Just because he's in a favorable spot now doesn't mean he'll rule us forever"
"And that's what infuriates me the most I mean it's like starting subway surf with a super ultra-boost pack while the other has to start normally while we're on the same time limit, catching up is hard, far too hard"
"Well if you play your game wisely then you'll still catch up Jerry, that's the why there are boosts on the way right?"
"You just have to pick then all!"
"Yeah but that's in the game, life won't give you boosts, that's a fact"
David thought about his words for a while then said "well that's for now, who knows in the future things may be different"
Jerry seemed to think about it for a while then returned to his normal self and said
"Whatever, let's go drink tonight just me and you and perhaps we could catch a few chicks also"
"Umm but---"
"Don't fret I'm paying so just dress nicely and come okay? I'll send the location to you"
David watched as Jerry left immediately after saying this then ran away leaving no room for a dispute then sighed and thought
'Oh well, I couldn't do what I came to do anyways so maybe I'll just attend then'
Then he quickened his pace to the bus stop while thinking about his upcoming heist plan at Stellar spoon.
He had been thinking hard about how to make money with his powers and what was better than to sabotage a known enemy by impersonating him?
He thought as an evil smirk hung on his lips.
